우리나라의 1인당 국민소득이 1995년에 1만달러를 넘어섰다. 본지는 한국개발연구원 부설 국민경제교육연구소가 1인당 국민소득 1만달러 시대의 각 경제주체의 경제행태를 조사ㆍ분석한 내용을 소개한다. 이 조사는 한국갤럽조사연구소에 의해 3월 19일 제주도를 제외한 전국의 만 20세 이상 성인남녀 1,570명을 대상으로 한 전화면접으로 이루어진 것이다. <편집자>

One of the major roots of the value and power of mathematical knowledge is the belief on ‘the Pythagorian-Platonic divine mathematicity of the universe’ and the ‘pre-established harmony between mathematics and physics’. This kind of the nature of mathematical knowledge demands strongly the school mathematics to become a subject for humanity education going beyond the practical usefulness. Here, investigating the roots of the thought of mathematical education, we tried to clarify that the traditional educational ideal which has maintained the theoretical knowledge-centered mathematical education is the education of humanity, and investigate the way today's mathematical pedagogy should first turn to if it should realize this ideal.

As the information society gradually advances, various opinions overflow and their complexity increases. As the results, it was made more difficult to derive important issues and properly respond to those problems. Accordingly, it is necessary to get a handle on emerging problems in education in addition to existing discourses and issues. This study aimed at examining the issues of education by analyzing the petitions posted under 'parenting and education' category on National Petition board. In order to offer objective and detailed results, we employed the topic modeling based LDA algorithm, which is an effective method to extract topics in multiple documents. Nine topics were derived as the result of the analysis and the relationship among those topics was visualized. The values of this study exist in that the derived topics represent important issues that reflect the public opinions.

This study attempts to examine the impact of a documentary film, on the perception and satisfaction with the public health insurance system in South Korea. It is needed that public support to expand health insurance coverage and to intensify national health insurance. The documentary film investigates health care in the United States, comparing with the non-profit universal health care systems of Canada, the United Kingdom, France and Cuba. So an online education content for the general education was developed using this film and the surveys were carried out to gather information about perception, satisfaction and opinion on national health insurance system before the lesson and after. And pared t tests were conducted to analyze the effects of this education content using the film on perception and attitudes towards national health insurance system. Based on the empirical results, the way to develop education contents for improving the understanding public health system and to verify the effect of education contents were discussed.

현대의 질병을 우리는 비전염성 만성질환, 즉 성인병이라 일컫는다. 이 질병은 평소의 생활에 주의하지 않으면 누구라도 걸릴 수 있고 한번 걸리면 쉽게 치료되지 않는다는 특성을 안고 있다. 따라서 이 질병의 관리를 위해서는 모든 사람들이 올바른 생활습관을 가지도록 하는 보건교육이 그 기초가 되어야 한다. 그러나 안타깝게도 현재 우리나라의 보건교육은 체계상으로나 자료의 측변에서 미흡한 점이 많고, 더욱 문제가 되는 것은 보건교육의 필요성을 절감하고 실천하는 보건단체가 많지 않다는 점이다. 이러한 상황 속에서, 이미 몇 년 전부터 ‘국민건강운동’을 제창하고 국민 보건교육에 나섰던 경기 제11지구의료보험조합은 여러 가지 측면에서 모범적인 결과를 가져왔다.
