  • 문화연구에서 몸은 사회현상의 담론 주제로 성, 젠더, 섹슈얼리티, 이미지 등을 중심으로 다루어져왔다. 신자유주의 시대 몸은 점차 세분화되고 기능적으로 구획화되어 단절되었다. 콘텐츠화된 몸은 몸을 둘러싼 권력을 내재화하며 왜곡하고 길들여진다. 본 연구는 한국 문화연구에서 몸에 대한 연구내용을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 몸에 대한 연구영역의 혼종성을 제기하고자 한다. 나아가 본 연구의 목적은 몸의 담론들마저 인위적으로 콘텐츠화되어 정체해 있음을 비판하는데 있다.

Spatial Distribution and Social Characteristics for Wetlands in Gyeongsangnam-do Province (경상남도 내 습지의 공간 분포 및 사회적 특성)

  • The wetlands have eco-sociological values because their functions have proven to be useful to human society. Many countries are working to conserve and protect the wetland ecosystems. However, many wetlands have disappeared or have been fragmented due to a natural and/or anthropogenic disturbance. These isolated wetlands appear to work best in the landscape, as a spatially distributed system. We have analyzed the spatial-social distribution patterns of wetlands in Gyeongsangnam-do Province (GNP). We examined the frequency distribution of wetland sizes, the distances to the nearest wetlands, the shapes of the wetlands, land-use patterns, land owners, and official land values were confirmed as social characteristics for each wetland. A total of 146 wetlands (3,598.85 ha), including 76 riverine wetlands (1,955.60 ha), 49 palustrine wetlands (1,282.28 ha) and 21 mountain wetlands (1,282.28 ha) were identified in GNP. Most wetlands left for use to drainage were small (<2 ha) and located in agricultural areas. However, small and isolated wetlands were clustered, according to the location, indicating that these wetlands can be connected to each other using the linear riverine wetlands and water channels in agricultural areas. This is extremely valuable in maintaining the biodiversity, such that any loss of small wetlands will cause a direct reduction in the connectedness among populations of the remaining species. Due to most wetlands belonging to the nation or businesses, being classified as reservoirs (water storage areas), and consequently, degradation of wetlands will progress due to grand-scale engineering works. Therefore, wetland policy and ecologically sensitive laws and policies should be developed in order to promote the wise-use for wetlands.

  • MPEG 동영상 부호화 중 BMA를 이용한 움직임 탐색과정에서, 왜곡척도로 MAD를 사용하는데 이는 블록 내 모든 화소에 동일하게 적용되므로 구획화 현상 등을 일으켜 주관적인 화질을 떨어뜨리는 원인이 된다. 본 논문에서는 블록 내 화소를 경계 영역과 내부 영역으로 나누어 경계 영역에 대한 MAD를 먼저 구하고, 문턱치를 비교하여 인터블록과 인트라 블록으로 구분하고 인터로 분류된 블록에 대해서만 내부 영역의 MAD를 구하여 최종 보상블록을 결정함으로써 화질을 개선하고 계산량을 줄일 수 있었다.

Self-folding of Multi-layered and Compartmented Hydrogel Designed for 4D Mask Pack (다층 및 다중구획 하이드로젤 제조 및 4D 마스크팩 적용을 위한 자가접힘 특성 분석)

  • The multi-layered and compartmented hydrogel was designed to examine the self-transforming for developing a 4D mask pack. The hydrogel consisting of two layers with different expansion ratios were fabricated to have specific curvature by self-folding assembly. In addition, the hydrogel compartmented with three different geometries was designed by varying of expansion ratios. The compartmented hydrogel with 0.03, 0. $0,03mm^{-1}$ of curvatures at room temperature was self-transformed with 1.33, 0, $1.33mm^{-1}$of curvatures at $37^{\circ}C$, enhancing the facial adhesion. Overall, this new strategy to prepare the multi-layered and compartmented hydrogel would be actively used in developing the 4D mask pack to self-transform by each facial curvature.

  • Prognostic characteristics of hypothetical tsunamis in the East Sea are discussed based on numerical model simulations of linear long wave theory and wave ray for 28 source zones of tsunamigenic earthquake selected by the seismic gap theory. As a result, the propagation patterns of tsunamis due to hypothetical earthquake are presented and analyses also lead to selection of the geographical zones with low risk of tsunamis.

  • 워터스크린(이하 W/S)에 의한 화재방화시스템은 도로터널에 화재가 발생시, 공간에 수막을 사용하여 구획화하고, 열 연기의 확산을 억제하며 유해 부유입자를 세정함으로서 인간의 안전을 확보 및 구조물의 피해를 극소화 하는 시스템이다. 이 W/S에 의한 구획의 성능을 평가하기 위해, 1/2의 터널 모형에 의한 공간 내 열 성장 파악을 위한 화재 실험을 분석하였고, 그 결과, 천정 근방 온도 및 방사수열량으로서는 발열 속도의 크기, 풍속의 대소에 의하지 않고 약 80%의 저감율을 나타냈다. 또, 발생한 유해 부유입자 농도에 대해서는 약 60%, 화원 성질과 상태로서 발열 속도는 약30%의 W/S에 의한 저감 효과를 나타내었다.

  • In this parer, a protocol system is developed, which automates the sequential procedure that transforms the information of compartment generated by SIKOB, the calculation program of ship design, to the STEP format which is used as the input data of next level of ship design. The schemata representing hull form and compartment are constructed. The STEP physical files are made by instancing these schemata using the results of SIKOB. They are transmitted to the CAD system and then worked on the CAD system. It means that they could be used as the data of next level of ship design.

Estimation of Tsunami Risk Zoning on the Coasts Adjacent to the East Sea from Hypothetical Earthquakes (공백역 지진에 의한 동해에 연한 해안에서의 지진해일 위험도 산정)

  • Prognostic characteristics of hypothetical tsunamis in the East Sea are further discussed based on numerical simulations using linear long wave theory than the last paper(Choi et al). As for choice of source zones, we used 28 cases based on fault parameters of hypothetical earthquakes and 76 cases based on simple initial surface shapes of tsunamigenic earthquakes selected by the seismic gap theory. As a result, the wave heights along the whole coastline adjacent to the East See of tsunamis due to these hypothetical earthquake are presented. Analyses also lead us to conclude that the selection of geographical zones with low risk of tsunamis can be used as a tool for coastal disaster mitigation planning.

  • We proposed an adaptive block truncation coding(BTC) using gradient and a new initial value. We used gradient of sobel operator as a new category classification coefficient to reduce Jagged appearance at edge part. We defined a new initial value to reduce large quantization error in the 4-level quantizer block including edge part. By computer simulations, we showed that the proposed method less computation load, reduced jagged appearance at edge part, also improved PSNR more than the conventional adaptive BTC.

  • Medical images with high resolution are coded to be archived and communicated in PACS. In this paper, We have studied on coding of cardio-angiography. Our coding technique's objects are removing blocking artifacts and edge degradation, adapting for drastic image change because of dye injection and fast decoding. We achieved good results for cardio-angiography image but the study on more sophisticated motion estimation technique must be peformed.
