  • 플라스틱과 같은 고분자 재료는 특유의 부정형 분자 구조 때문에 기온의 변화 등의 외부적 요인에 의하여 초기 설계에 사용된 고유의 기계적 물성이 변화함에 따라 형태의 변형이 발생하여 부품으로 쓰였을 때 체결부가 느슨해지거나 마찰을 유발하여 이음, 즉 BSR을 발생시킨다. 이 글에서는 고분자 재료의 물리적 거동 특성 및 BSR 발생메커니즘에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

  • 기계나 구조물의 수명을 결정하는 마멸은 물체간의 접촉으로 인한 것이고 마멸을 줄이기 위해 윤활이 발달되어 왔다. 여러 형태의 마멸을 해석하기 위해서 접촉역학의 이해는 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 하중과 운동 조건에 의한 다양한 접촉문제를 일반적으로 다루기 위해 접촉면을 중심 으로 한 접근 방법을 소개하였으며, 접촉문제의 특이성을 보이기 위해 마찰접촉문제 해석을 위한 한기법을 간단히 기술하였다. 고속 볼 베어링의 특성 해석과 접촉형상 최적설계를 통하여 광 범위한 접촉 역학의 적용의 일부를 소개하였다.

  • In this study, a non-open cut method using a round or square pipe which has been commonly employed in Korea was experimentally evaluated and the behavioral features resulting from the friction while the pipe is penetrated into the ground was identified through the scale model test. To that end, a test device was fabricated by type of penetration pipe, by which the surface displacement caused by surrounding friction resistance was monitored. To simulate the settlement and heaving by excavation stage, the test was conducted based on generalized friction condition and surface displacement and the result therof was compared and analyzed, considering the type of penetration pipe.

  • A large-sized refrigerator has a complicated inner structure such as a shelf and a rack for product loading. Therefore, when the refrigerator door is opened and closed, the temperature inside the refrigerator varies and vibrations occur due to the physical force applied for opening and closing the door. Owing to these factors, an abnormal sound is generated by the relative distortion between the inner structures. In this study, we aimed to clarify the mechanism that generates this abnormal noise inside the refrigerator using experimental approaches, and we also investigated ways by which to reduce this noise. Toward this end, we developed an experimental setup for measuring the noise, temperature, inner pressure, as well as amount of vibration, and we analyzed the main factors causing the noise based on the experimental results. Furthermore, we suggested a way by which to reduce the noise; this method can be applied in the design stage itself.

The Development of Mechanical Damper Using the Friction Pendulum Principle (마찰 진자 원리를 적용한 기계식 댐퍼의 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the earthquake has been increasing a lot, damage of electric power facility has been serious as well. Nowadays, the importance of pipe support system such as Hanger, Brace, Snubber connecting the main structure have been emphasized. These devices can prevent pipe from damage so that reduce the vibration and shock acting on the pipe. For this reason, the FCD(Friction Concave Damper) was developed and has been expected to reduce the vibration on the pipe through the Friction Pendulum System. This paper was described the introduction of self-developed mechanical damper using the friction pendulum principle and the characteristic test was performed to verify the performance of the device. Additionally the test results have been compared with predicted F.A.P(FCD Analysis Program-self developed) results. As a result, reliability of design could be improved.

Track-Structure Interaction Analysis of Fast Hardening Track on Railway Bridge Considering Effect of Anchor and Friction (앵커와 마찰의 영향을 고려한 교량상 급속경화궤도의 궤도-교량 상호작용해석)

  • Ballast track requires constant maintenance work due to progress of track irregularity. Fast Hardening Track(FHT) has been developed to reduce the maintenance effort done by injecting fast hardening mortar in aged ballast to convert slab track. For the application of FHT to a railway bridge, post-installed anchors should be placed at center of the track segment to fix it on bridge. This paper presents track-bridge interaction analysis results with FHT considering stiffness and strength of post-installed anchor, age of FHT concrete and friction between FHT and bridge deck surface. Based on the analysis results, this study suggests when is good to install the anchors and allow normal operation of passing train.
