The Structural Behavior and Performance by Span-to-Depth Ratio in Composite Structure of Sandwish System (셀 형상비에 따른 강.콘크리트 복합구조체의 구조적 거동 및 성능)

  • 이 논문은 샌드위치식 강-콘크리트 복합구조체에서 상하 강판과 격벽으로 구성되는 셀의 형상비가 거동과 성능에 미치는 영향을 다루었다. 이 구조체에서 셀 형상비는 하중전달 메카니즘과 하중분배능력을 변화시킨다. 따라서 셀 형상비에 따라 부재의 응력수준과 하중저항능력이 변화한다. 이 연구에서는 셀 형상비가 이 구조체의 거동과 성능에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해, 두 종류의 샌드위치식 복합구조체에 대해 다양한 셀 형상비를 설정하여 비선형 구조해석을 수행하였다. 해석결과로부터 셀 형상비에 따른 하중전달 메카니즘과 부채 응력에서의 차이점을 도출하였으며, 이들 차이점을 바탕으로 셀 형상비가 전단성능, 휨성능, 하중저항성능에 미치는 영향을 분석하였고, 파괴모드와 연성에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 간략히 언급하였다. 연구결과, 셀 형상비가 증가함에 따라 하부 강판과 콘크리트의 응력수준이 낮아지는 결과를 나타내었다. 이것은 각 부재의 유효휨강성과 유효전단강성 증가를 나타내며, 따라서 구조체의 하중저항성능도 향상되는 것으로 판단된다. 특히 셀 형상비의 증가에 따른 성능향상에서 전단성능이 휨성능에 비해 더 큰 효과를 나타내며, 이러한 차이는 파괴모드와 연성에도 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단된다. 즉, 셀 형상비가 증가함에 따라 구조물의 거동 및 파괴모드는 점차적으로 전단에서 휨으로 변화하고, 이에 따라 구조물의 연성도 점차적으로 향상될 것으로 판단된다.

Integrated Analysis of Hydrodynamic Motions and Structural Behavior of Large-Scaled Floating Structures using AQWA-ANSYS Coupling (AQWA-ANSYS 연계에 의한 대형 부유구조체의 파랑운동-구조거동 통합해석)

  • In order to design floating structures, it should be required to evaluate hydrodynamic motions and structural behavior under the wave loadings. Then, structural behavior of floating structures should be evaluated including the effects of wave-induced hydraulic pressure subjected to floating structures. However, there has been a problem to exactly evaluate structural behavior of floating structures since it was difficult to directly connect wave-induced hydraulic pressure resulting from hydrodynamic analysis with structural analysis model. In this study, in order to exactly evaluate structural behavior of floating structures under the wave loading, integrated analysis of hydrodynamic motion and structural behavior was carried out to the large-scaled floating structure. The wave-induced hydraulic pressure resulting from hydrodynamic analysis AQWA were directly mapped to structural analysis model ANSYS bia Workbench interface of ANSYS Inc.. As the results of this study, it was found that the integrated analysis of this study evaluate exactly structural behavior of floating structures under the wave loadings since this method can directly reflect wave-induced hydraulic pressure resulting from hydrodynamic analysis to structural analysis model. Also, as the results of structural behavior evaluation, it was found that the tensile stress on the top slab was maximized at the wave direction of $0^{\circ}$, and tensile stress on the bottom slab was maximized at the wave direction of $45^{\circ}$, respectively.

  • 지하구조체를 안전하고 경제적으로 형성시키기 위해서는 구조계 구성인자의 재료특성에 대한 정확한 파악과 구조계의 거동에 대한 정확한 해석이 요구된다. 즉, 실제문제를 수치적으로 모형화하고 구조거동을 이해하기 위해서는 대상 암반체의 초기응력상태와 재료특성을 정확히 반영해야 한다. 이러한 암반의 역학적 특성치는 실험실시험이나 현장시험에 의해 구할 수 있으나, 이는 측정지점 주위의 국부적인 영역에 대한 결과이므로 구조체 전체에 대한 특성을 파악하는데 어려움이 있다. (중략)

Global Behavior Analyses of Structures with Damages Using a Modified Second Order Damage Tensor (수정된 2차손상텐서를 이용한 손상된 구조체의 거동해석)

  • The objective of this study is to develop a damage model based on damage mechanics that can be used to analyze the mechanical behavior of structures with defects and the global behavior of damaged structures. A modified second order damage tensor that can be applied to finite element analysis is used to reflect the effect of damage. The damage stress computed from the effective stress is considered as an additional loading term acting on nodes and can represent the effect of crack surface. The accuracy of the proposed algorithm is verified by comparing the analysis results with the experimental data from other studies and the analysis results based on transverse isotropic theory. The developed damage model is applied to the analyses of structures with cracks under linear elastic condition. The comparisons confirmed that the quantitative analysis of the structural behavior due to crack orientation and multiple sets of cracks is possible. Also, the damage caused by rock excavation and fault zone is analyzed. The results also showed that the developed model can effectively analyze the global behavior of damaged structures.

Evaluation of Flexible Pavement Layer Moduli Using the Depth Deflectometer and Flexible Pavement Behavior under Various Vehicle Speeds (아스팔트 콘크리트 포장구조체의 내부처짐에 의한 물성추정과 주행속도에 따른 거동분석)

  • A new procedure needs to be developed to predict the dynamic layer properties under moving truck loads. In this study, a computer code to evaluate layer moduli of asphalt concrete pavement from measured interior deflections at various depths were developed and verified from numerical model tests. Interior deflections of the pavement are measured from Multi-Depth Deflectometer(MDD). It was found that errors between the given and backcalculated moduli in numerical analysis were less than 0.32% for several numerical models tested. When impact loads were used, a technique to determine the depth to virtual rigid base was proposed through the analysis of compressive wave velocity and impulse loading durations. It was found that errors between the given and backcalculated moduli in numerical analysis were less than 0.114% when virtual rigid base was considered in numerical analysis. The pavement behavior must be evaluated under various vehicle speeds when determining the dynamic interaction between the loading vehicle and pavement system. To evaluate the dynamic behavior on asphalt concrete pavement under various vehicle speeds, truck moving tests were carried out. From the test results with respect to vehicle speed, it was found that the vehicle speed had significant effect on actual response of the pavement system. The lower vehicle speed generates the higher interior deflections, and the lower dynamic modulus.

  • This study has been investigated the applicability of auxetic mesh for the reinforcement of structural members. Typical materials including concrete behaves with positive poisson's ratio when external force is applied. In this study, it has been theoretically verified that metallic auxetic mesh restrains as such mechanical behaviors of concrete resulting in the stiffness increase. Also, regarding the applicability to construction field, a type of auxetic mesh has been suggested and the mechanical characteristics were numerically analyzed.

  • 지진 등과 같은 외부 진동하중에 의해 발생되는 구조물의 진동은 구조물의 독립적 거동뿐만 아니라 지반과 구조물 기초의 접촉면을 통해 상호 영향을 미치게 된다. 특히 LNG 저장탱크나 원자력발전소 등과 같이 대현 상부구조물의 경우 상호작용력은 크게 작용하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 상부 구조계의 단순화된 형태인 기초계의 동적거동을 파악하기 위해 주파수영역 경계요소법을 사용하여 수치적으로 연구하였다. 반무한체 상에 존재하는 무질량 강체 표면기초에 대해 반무한 기본해를 이용하여 동적거동이 고찰되었으며 기존의 해석결과와 비교, 검토하여 본 연구방법의 타당함을 입증하였다.

  • A great deal of difficulty is encountered in the thermo-mechanical analyses of nozzle assembly for solid propellant rocket motors. The main issue in this paper is the modeling of the boundary conditions and the connections between the various components-gaps, relative movements of the components, contacts, friction, etc. This paper evaluated the complex phenomena of nozzle assembly during burning time with co-simulation which include fluid, thermal surface reaction/ablation and structural analysis. The validity of this approach was verified by comparison of analysis results with measured strains.

Failure Behavior of Non-seismic RC Column with aspect ratio of 4.0 (형상비 4.0인 비내진 철근콘크리트 기둥의 파괴거동)

  • Two octagonal RC bridge columns of small scale model were tested under cyclic lateral load with constant axial load. One in two specimens was solid cross section, the other was hollow cross section. The volumetric ratio of transverse spiral hoop of all specimens is 0.00206. The columns showed flexure-shear failure. Failure behavior and seismic performance were investigated. The test results showed that the structural performance of the hollow specimen such as initial crack pattern, initial stiffness, and energy dissipation performance was comparable to that of the solid specimen, but the lateral strength, ultimate displacement, energy dissipation performance of hollow specimen noticeably decreased after drift ratio of 3%.
