물부족현상을 해결하기 위해서는 장기적인 공급기반시설의 확충과 함께 여러 형태의 경제적 유인제도의 활용을 통한 수요관리정책을 병행함으로써 물의 절약효과를 최대화시키는 것이 바람직하다. 본 연구에서는 1993년 한국 제조업을 대상으로 시장구조적, 환경적 제약여건하에서 공업용수의 비효율적인 사용실태를 알아보고 적정수준의 용수수요량을 유도하기 위하여 용수가격의 인상을 추진할 경우, 이에 필요한 가격인상율을 제시한다. 방법론적으로는 적정수준의 자본투입을 가정한 제약일반비용함수를 추정한다. 추정결과, 공업용수는 적정수준에 비해 무려 평균 50배 이상 과다하게 사용되고 있으며 1993년 현재의 용수가격을 106.8% 인상시켜야 적정수준으로 유도할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

본 논문은 의미론적 어휘개념에 기반한 한국어 동사 Isa 계층구조 시스템을 이용한 Semantic Network을 구축하며, 이를 활용하여 부사와 동사 간의 공기제약관계 설정에 유효한 개념 분류를 수행한다. 일반적으로 많이 쓰이는 한국어 동사 658개를 대상으로 semantic network을 구축한 결과, SENKOV는 44개의 top node를 가지고 있으며 depth 는 약 2.35이었다. 한국어 동사의 semantic network은 영어에서와 마찬가지로 명사보다 top node의 개수가 많고 depth가 훨씬 더 얕았다. 그리고 성상부사의 selectional restriction에 유효한 개념분류를 하는데 SENKOV를 활용하였다.

This paper investigates the impact of liquidity constraints on investment expenditures of family and non-family firms. We analyze the ownership structure of family firms to determine whether family control alleviates or exacerbates investment-cash flow sensitivity in domestic firms. To examine the impact of liquidity constraints on investment expenditures of family and non-family firms, we used a financial data of 644 Korea Exchange traded companies over the 2000 - 2010 period. We estimated a time-series and cross-sectional regression model, using samples of family firms and non-family firms. The results show that cash flow is not associated with investment expenditure in family firms, whereas cash flow has a positive impact on investment in non-family firms. Our results show that lower or no investment-cash flow sensitivities in family-controlled firms are mainly attributable to lower agency costs through strong monitoring activities of family members. Higher investment-cash flow sensitivities are observed in non-family firms with more agency problems. This suggests that investment-cash flow sensitivities would be useful measures of liquidity constraints.

This study examined state of local pharmaceuticals industry and investigated distribution system. The study found out associated problems as well as improvements of distribution system of local pharmaceuticals. Finally, to improve distribution system of local pharmaceuticals, the study investigated distribution system of 10 kinds of pharmaceuticals of 'J' Company being a leading local manufacturer of local pharmaceuticals, and found out improvements of the distribution system. The study collected and compiled 'J' Company's internal slips and reporting material from April 1, 2008 to July 31, 2008, and interviewed persons in charge continuously to find out state and problems of the distribution system.

We consider the simultaneous slewing and vibration suppression control problem of an idealized structural model which has a rigid hub with two cantilevered flexible appendages and finite tip masses. The finite clement method(FEM) is used to obtain linear finite dimensional equations of motion for the model. In the linear quadratic regulator(LQR) problem, a simple method is introduced to provide a physically meaningful performance index for space structure models. This method gives us a mathematically minor but physically important modification of the usual energy type performance index. A numerical procedure to solve a time-variant LQR problem with inequality control constraints is presented using the method of particular solutions.

This paper proposes a keyword-based query translation system for the semantic web. With the relationship between keywords and ontology structure information, the system converts keyword based queries into queries written by formal query language which is appropriate for the semantic web. As a result, casual web users could not only express queries easily but also obtain the better result.

블록-삼각(Block-angular)구조를 갖는 선형 제약식과 분리되지 않는 콘벡스 목적함수의 대규모 비분리 콘벡스 최적화 문제의 해법으로 번들-분해법 (Bundle Based Decomposition)을 이용한 알고리즘 SQA(Separable Quadratic Approximation)은 비분리 콘벡스 프로그램을 분리가능한 2차계획 법(Separable Quadratic Programming) 문제로 근사화시켜 번들-분해법을 축 차적으로 적용한다. 본 연구는 수렴성(local convergence & global convergence) 및 알고리즘 구현 [1]에 이어 이에 대한 수치적용 결과를 중심 으로 소개한다. 수치 적용은 ANSI C로 작성된 SQA 프로그램을 SUN SPARC II에서 실행하였으며 이때 대규모 비분리 최적화 문제의 비분리 목 적함수와 블록-삼각 구조의 선형 제약식들이 계수들은 ANSI C의 랜덤함수 로부터 임의의 값들을 이용하였다. 이와같은 다양한 비분리 콘벡스 최적화 문제에 대한 수렴성, 반복회수 및 처리시간등의 결과와 함께 GAMS/MINOS 의 최적해를 소개한다.

본 논문에서는 MPEG-2 multiview profile (MVP)를 이용한 스테레오 동영상 부호화기 구조를 제안한다. 제안한 부호화기에서 좌영상은 기저층에서 움직임 정보를 이용하여 부호화 되고, 우영상은 상위층에서 변이 정보를 이용하여 부호화를 수행한다. 그리고 변이 정보와 움직임 정보간의 관계를 이용하여 하위 계층의 움직임 정보와 변이 정보에서 상위 계층의 움직임 정보를 유도하여 영상 예측에 사용하였다. 이를 적용하기 위해서 상위 계층과 하위 계층의 부호화 순서와 예측 모드에 제약을 두었다. 제안한 스테레오 MPEG-2부호화기는 상위 계층의 부호화시 움직임 예측을 수행하지 않고 하위 계층에서의 예측 모드 제약으로 인해 부호화기의 구조가 간단하고 부호화 시간을 줄일 수 있었다. 실영상에 대한 실험 결과에서 상위 계층의 경우 움직임 예측과 변이 예측을 모두 수행했을 때와 거의 차이가 나지 않았으며 변이 예측만을 수행 경우보다 높은 SNR을 나타내었다.
