A Development of Prototype Design Automation System for Standard Connections Using High-Strength Bolts based on BIM (BIM 기반의 고력볼트 마찰접합부 설계자동화 시스템의 프로토타입 구축)

  • This study is related to the development of a design automation system for the construction design phase of steel structures. The system intended for beam splice friction connections using high-strength bolts. The standard design method and standardization principles that are suggested in the design manual for standard connections using high-strength bolts published by the Korean Society of Steel Construction(KSSC) were reviewed. A structural analysis algorithm was formulated from the review. A design automation system that can automatically calculate the structural design of connections and automatically generate the connection model without separate inputs was developed. To verify the validity of the developed system, its results were compared with the date in the table for the connection design in the Design Manual. The development system was also applied to the sample model. Then the structural design results were compared with the properties of the connection models and drawings created from the results.

  • In order to understand the seismic performance of a bridge, it is common to review through seismic performance evaluation and numerical analysis of the target bridge. Seismic performance evaluation and review through numerical analysis are analysis methods for specific target bridges, and many problems can arise in each management body managing bridges nationwide. Therefore, in this study, research was conducted to estimate the seismic performance of public bridges with various types and characteristics. Seismic performance was estimated by applying the seismic risk assessment method, calculating the seismic fragility curve for the type and specifications of the bridge, and estimating the seismic performance of the bridge in use by applying the domestic seismic design standard. In addition, by installing it on the platform, service items were established so that users can easily review the estimation of seismic performance of domestic bridges.

  • Utilization of the fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) material has been enlarged as a substitution material to the general construction materials having certain long-term problems such as corrosion, etc. However, it could be difficult to apply the FRP material, which has a linear shape generally, to an arch-shaped tunnel structure. Therefore, an attempt has been made in this study to develop a device to form a designed cross section of FRP material by pulling out with a curvature. A sample of the circled FRP product was successfully produced and then the sample has been tested to identify its physical characteristics. Then, intensive feasibility studies on the circled FRP panel to be used for a tunnel lining structure have been carried out by numerical analyses. As a result, it appears that the new circled FRP-concrete composite panel has a high capability to be used for a tunnel lining material without any structural problem.

  • 본 연구는 첨단 정보기술의 도입에 따른 우리나라 대학도서관 조직의 변화를 인력구조와 직무구조적인 측면에서 조사하고, 대학도서관이 자동화시스템으로 변화될 경우 효율적인 조직운영을 위한 모델을 제시하였다. 연구방법은 대학도서관 조직구조의 변화요소들에 관한 이론을 국내외 문헌을 통하여 검토하고 설문조사를 실시하여 문제점을 도출하였다.

  • 최근 들어 기상이변으로 인해 집중호우가 빈번히 발생하여 막대한 홍수피해를 야기하고 있으며, 이에 자연재해에 대한 방재대책의 중요성 및 수공구조물들의 설계빈도를 상향조정하는 등의 대책마련이 절실히 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 특히 2002년 여름 강릉지역에 발생한 태풍 '루사'로 인한 집중호우는 기존 PMP(가능 최대강수량) 규모를 초과하는 사상 초유의 24시간 최대 강수량(880mm)을 기록하여 기존 댐 등과 같은 수공구조물의 설계기준에 대한 재고가 불가피 하게 되었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 미계측 유역인 상관저수지 유역을 대상으로 지속시간별 PMP를 산정한 후 임계지속시간을 고려한 PMF(가능최대홍수량)를 산정하여 유역내 대표적인 수공구조물인 저수지의 수문학적 치수안정성 여부를 검토하였다. 분석 대상유역인 상관저수지 유역의 PMP는 전국 전계절별 PMP도로부터 호우중심의 PMP와 유역중심의 PMP를 동일하게 하여 지속시간별 PMP를 산정하였다. 산정된 PMP로부터 Huff의 4분위법을 이용하여 강우를 시간분포 시킨 후 상관저수지 유역의 PMF를 산정하였으며, 이 때 이용된 유역의 홍수량추정 기법으로는 Clark 단위도법이다. 또한 본 연구에서는 수공구조물의 치수안정성을 검토하기 위하여 HEC-5모형을 이용한 저수지 홍수추적을 실시하였으며, 검토 결과 상관저수지의 수문학적 안정성은 확보된 것으로 분석되었다.

  • The model for ship maneuvering simulation is to enhance the competence of officer's ship maneuvering skills such as navigation equipment operation, collision avoidances, countermeasure an emergency situation so on. Despite using such ship maneuvering model, critical maritime accidents are occurred periodically in the world. To find adequate simulation model to evaluate competence abilities of deck officer who have maneuvering skills with some competence levels, we search the standard ship maneuvering method representing on the part 3 Person Overboard(POB) to onboard emergences of IAMSAR manual. Moreover we monitor the officer's human factors appearing during education and training and consider the use of human factors as fundamental data.

  • In the preceding study, the possibility of liquefaction according to the liquefaction evaluation methods was predicted in Saemangeum reclamation area for tide embankment, Jeollabuk-do, Korea. The risk of liquefaction was also expected when foundations and underground structures were built at a depth within 10m below ground surface, and meticulous care was required in the design of them in the future. This study considered the effect of the embedded depth for foundation design regarding liquefaction based on the various earthquake data from literatures. On the basis of the results of this study, an alternative consideration in foundation design for liquefaction was proposed for the Saemangeum area.

Numerical Modeling of Long-Term Behavior of Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil Wall used in Bridge Abutment (보강토 교대 옹벽의 장기 거동에 대한 수치 모델링)

  • This paper presents the numerical modelling technique for modeling the time-dependent behavior of geosynthetic reinforced soil wall under a sustained load. The applicability of power law-based creep models for modeling the creep deformations of geogrid and reinforced soil was first examined. The modeling approach was then used to simulate the long-term performance of a geosynthetic reinforced soil wall used in a bridge abutment. The results indicated that the power law-based models can be effectively used for modelling the long term behavior of geosynthetic reinforced walls under sustained loading. In addition, it was shown that, when using creep deformation susceptible backfill soils, the abutment wall and the sill beam may experience deformations exceeding allowable limits. Practical implications of the findings from this study are discussed in great detail.
