船殼거더의 最終崩壞强度 解析法 및 簡易計算式에 관한 硏究 動向

  • 선박의 구조설계단계에서 최종붕괴강도를 설계기준으로 삼는 경우는 거의 없으나 최근에 각국 선급에서 최종붕괴강도를 의무적인 설계기준으로 삼기 위해 자체적인 해석법과 설계식을 제시 하고 규정화하는 작업을 진행시키고 있다. [12, 17, 31, 32]. 1994년 ISSC [1]에서도 토론된바와 같이 특히 새로운 구조방식을 가진 선박의 합리적인 구조설계를 위하여는 해상플렛폼의 구조설 계시와 마찬가지로 삼아야 할 것이다. 본고에서는 선각거더의 최종붕괴강도에 대한 해석법과 간이계산식에 관한 연구동향을 문헌조사를 통하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 순수굽힘모멘트가 작용 하는 문제의 경우 최종붕괴강도 해석법은 어느정도 확립되었다고 판단되지만 최종붕괴강도의 간이계산식은 아직도 정도 등의 면에서 개선의 여지가 남아 있다고 생각된다. 앞으로 순수 굽 힘모멘트뿐만아니라 조합하중을 받는 경우와 피로균열을 비롯한 초기구조손상을 가진 노후화된 선박에 대한 최종붕괴강도를 보다 정밀하게 해석하기 위한 해석법의 개발과 간이계산식의 도 출이 필요하다고 사료된다. 또한, 충돌, 좌초, 폭발 등에 기인된 선각거더의 붕괴강도 평가를 위한 해석법의 개발도 앞으로 남은 과제중의 하나이다.

Ultimate Strength Based Reliability of Corroded Ship Hulls (부식을 고려한 선각거더의 최종강도 신뢰성)

  • Aging ships can suffer structural damage due to corrosion, fatigue crack etc., and possibility of catastrophic failure of seriously damaged ships is very high. To reduce the risk of loss of ships due to hull collapse, it is essential to evaluate ultimate hull strength of aging ships taking into account various uncertainties associated with structural damages. In this paper, ultimate strength-based reliability analysis of ship structures considering wear of structural members due to corrosion is described. A corrosion rate estimate model for structural members is introduced. An ultimate limit state function of a ship hull is formulated taking into account corrosion effects. The model is applied to an existing oil tanker, and reliability index associated with hull collapse is calculated by using the second-order reliability method (SORM). Discussions on structure safety of corroded ships are made.

Estimation of Shear Strength of RC Shear Connection for the Steel-Concrete Composite Girder (강합성 거더용 철근콘크리트 전단연결체의 전단강도 평가)

  • For the purpose of improvement of the load carrying capacity and constructibility of the conventional steel-concrete composite girder through a effective appliance of the construction materials and optimization of the girder section, a new type section of composite girder and RC shear connection were proposed. In this study shear strength of the RC shear connection is estimated, and the characteristics of shear load-slip behaviour is analyzed. Push-out tests on shear specimens and FEM analysis with various design parameters are carried out, and results are analyzed. The results of test and FEM analysis showed that shear strength of RC shear connection is underestimated by the design provisions of the current design code. By regression analysis a empirical equation for the estimation of shear strength of RC shear connection is proposed.

Evaluation of Applicability on a High-rise Building for the Effective Usage of High Performance Steel for Building Structures (건축구조용 고성능 강재 HSA800의 효율적 사용을 위한 초고층 건물의 적용성 평가)

  • As building height and span is getting taller and longer, the researches to increase material's strength and serviceability are continuously performed. This study evaluated mechanical and chemical properties of newly developed high-strength steel (HSS) for building structures, namely HSA800 and verified cost-effectiveness and applicability of HSS for a tall building by comparing the analysis results of normal strength steel (SM490) model. HSA800 was manufactured by TMCP to have a good weldability in spite of HSS and satisfied Korean Industrial Standards (KS). The analysis results for evaluating cost-effectiveness show that total steel quantity could be saved approximately 30% when using HSS compared to SM490. It is expected that HSA800 will contribute to enhance constructability of building.

  • 본 연구는 섬유 보강 폴리머(Fiber Reinforced Polymers, 이하 FRP) bar로 보강된 콘크리트 깊은 보의 전단강도를 평가하기 위하여 전단경간비, 보강비, 주근의 종류를 변수로 총 6개의 실험체에 대한 전단 실험을 수행하였다. 전단실험을 토대로 FRP bar로 보강된 콘크리트 깊은보의 균열 및 처짐에 대한 거동 조사를 수행하였으며, ACI 318-08의 스트럿-타이 모델을 이용한 전단강도와 아치작용을 고려한 기존 제안식에 의한 전단강도를 비교 평가하였다. 그 결과, FRP bar로 보강한 실험체와 철근으로 보강한 실험체는 상이한 전단거동을 보였으며, FRP bar로 보강한 경우의 전단강도가 철근으로 보강한 경우보다 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 전단강도 산정에 있어서는 ACI 318-08의 스트럿-타이 모델을 이용한 방법이 기존 제안식에 의한 방법보다 상대적으로 정확했다.

Evaluation of Cracking Strength of Floating Floor System (뜬바닥구조의 균열강도 평가)

  • This paper reports the test results of the floating floor system used to reduce the floor noise of apartment buildings. Recently, many soft resilient materials placing between the reinforced concrete slab and finishing mortar are used. The resilient material should not only reduce the floor impact sound vibration from the floor but also support the load on the floor. Thus, even if soft resilient materials satisfy the maximum limitation of light-weight impact sound and heavy-weight impact sound, these materials may not support the load on the floor. The experimental program involved conducting sixteen sound insulation floating floor specimens. Three main parameters were considered in the experimental investigation: resilient materials, loading location, and layers of floor. Experimental results indicated that the stiffness of resilient material significantly influenced on the structural behavior of floating floor system. In addition, the deflection of the floating concrete floor loaded at the side or coner of the specimen was greater than that of the floor loaded at the center of the specimen. However, the aerated concrete did not effect on the cracking strength of floating floor system.

A Study on 4 Point Bending Strength of Carbon/epoxy Face Sheet and Honeycomb Core Sandwich Composite Structure after Open Hole Damage (카본/에폭시 면재 및 허니컴 코어 샌드위치 복합재 구조의 구멍 손상에 의한 4점 굽힘 강도 연구)

  • In this study, it was performed damage assessment and repair of small scale aircraft adopted on composite. This aircraft adopted the sandwich structure to skin of wing. This study aims to investigate the residual strength of sandwich composites with nomex honeycomb core and carbon fiber face sheets after the open hole damage by the experimental investigation. The 4-point bending tests were used to find the bending strength, and the open hole was applied to introduce the simulated damage on the specimen. The bending strength test results after open hole were compared with the results of no damaged specimen test. In addition, The damaged composite structure was repaired using external patch repair method after removing damaged area. After that, this study presents comparison results of the experimental investigation between the damaged and the repaired specimen. It was found that the bending strength of repaired specimen was recovered up to 95% of undamaged specimen.

Transverseless AFRAMAX급 이중선체 유조선 구조부재의 안전성평가

  • 본 연구에서는 힁부재가 없는 AFRAMAX급 신구조 방식의 유조선을 개발하고자 하였다. 설계의 기본 개념은 1) 이중선체구조를 채용하여 해난사고 발생시 기름유출 방지를 피하고, 2) 힁부재가 없는 극히 단순한 선체구조를 채용하여 용접 로봇등을 활용한 자동건조 비율을 높임으로써 건조 생산성을 향상시키는데 주안점을 두고 있다. 설계 결과 얻어진 선체구조는 기존의 유조선 구 조와 매우 상이하다. 초기구조설계단계에서 구조 부재의 치수는 기존의 선급설계 지침을 활용 하여 결정하였으나, 기존의 유조선 구조와 비교하여 구조배치가 크게 바뀌어 졌기 때문에 기존의 선급설계지침을 만족했다고 해서 구성부재와 국부구조뿐만 아니라 구조 전체적으로도 충분한 구조안전성을 가지고 있는지는 확실치 않다. 따라서 직접구조해석에 의한 구조안전성 평가가 필수적으로 요구되며, 이를 위해 저자들은 선체구조의 최종 종강도(ultimate longitudinal strength), 최종 힁강도(ultimate transverse strength) 및 최종 국부강도(ultimate local strength )를 기준으로한 구조안전성 평가를 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 이들 중에서 국부 구조부재에 대한 안전성평가 문제만을 다루었다. 결론적으로, 본 연구에서 개발한 선체구조는 건전상태(intact condition)하에서 뿐만 아니라 손상상태하에서도 구조부재는 좌굴 또는 붕괴하지 않고 전반적 으로 충분한 구조안전성을 가지고 있다는 결론을 내릴 수 있었다.

A Study on the Materials Characteristics of High Tensile Strength Steel(SM570) Plates (고장력(SM570)강재의 재료특성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the chemical compositions and mechanical properties of high tensile strength steel plates in accordance with their thickness are quantitatively estimated, that are steel plates SM570 to be purposed to use in building structure. Test results of steel plates SM570 are compared with those of steel plates SS400 and steel plates SM490 mostly using building structure. It is found that chemical compositions, carbon equivalent, parameter of welding crack susceptibility, yield strength, tensile strength, elongation, and impact strength have satisfied the prescribed value in KS code for all case of thickness.

  • Deep corrugated steel plate structure has more compressive force and flexibility in bending behavior than short span structure. Asymmetric earth pressure distribution has occurred during construction. Ultimate strength and moment in domestic area, having superior ability at bending strain has been examined in this study. Based on the result of the study preceded, performance of Deep corrugated steel plate specimen has been evaluated by comparing increase of strength according to the increase of reinforcement content in bolt connections and failure mode of specimen.
