Effects of Source's Social Distance on Consumer's Responses to Corporate Facebook Page: Focusing on Moderating effects of blatant persuasive intention, normative interpersonal influence and informative interpersonal influence (정보원의 사회적 거리감에 따른 기업 페이스북 페이지에서의 광고 효과: 메시지의 노골적 설득 의도, 규범적 대인민감성, 정보적 대인민감성의 조절 효과를 중심으로)

  • This study is designed to examine the effects of information source's social distance on message attitude and online word-of-mouth intention (e-WOM). It also examined the moderation effects of blatant persuasive intention of message, the normative interpersonal influences, and the informative interpersonal influences on the relationship between social distance and advertising effectiveness. This study employed an experiment: 2(far/near social distance far/near) ${\times}2$(high/low blatant persuasive intention of message) ${\times}$(high/low normative interpersonal influences) ${\times}2$(high/low informative interpersonal influences). The results of this study are as follows. First, closer social distance led to more positive message attitude and higher online word-of-mouth intention. Second, when blatant persuasive intention of message is low, the effects of social distance on message attitude and WOM intention were more noticeable while those effects were less significant for high blatant persuasive intention of message. Third, there were no interaction effects of social distance and normative interpersonal influences on advertising effectiveness. Fourth, the effects of social distance on message attitude and WOM intention were more significant for high informative interpersonal influences than for low informative interpersonal influences. Implications of study findings are provided for strategic use of corporate Facebook page to generate positive consumer responses.

The Influence of the Logistics Quality on the Customer Satisfaction and the word-of-mouth intention in Chinese Internet Shopping Mall (중국 인터넷 쇼핑 몰의 물류품질이 고객만족과 구전의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study analyzes the influence of the logistics quality of Chinese internet shopping mall on the customer satisfaction. This study also analyzes the influence of the customer satisfaction on the word-of-mouth intention. Then this study examines whether there is a difference among the influences of the logistics quality on the customer satisfaction depending on the types of shopping mall and the users' traits. As a result, when it comes to the logistics quality, carriage, after service and kindness influence customer satisfaction and the customer satisfaction influences word-of-mouth intention similarly. And this research reveals that the logistics quality can not differently influence on the customer satisfaction depending on the types of shopping mall and the users' gender and ages.

  • An actual analysis was made regarding how different the effect of the online WOM information characteristics on the expansion of the WOM information characteristics was depending on the level of the receiver's expertise in consideration of the sender's expertise, the vividness and Consensus of WOM information which can affect the acceptance of WOM information in this study. To begin with, the analysis results showed that the online WOM information characteristics had the positive effect on the information acceptance intention in proportion to the sender's expertise and the vividness and Consensus of WOM information. Secondly, the information acceptance intention was found to have a positive effect on the re-WOM intention. Finally, the level of receiver's expertise was found to control the effect of the online WOM information characteristics on the information acceptance intention.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of brand identity of coffee specialty stores on customer 's brand trust of customers, brand attachment, revisit intention, and word of mouth intention. A survey was conducted and 342 copies were used in the analysis of the structural equation model. As a result of the study, the brand identity was proved to have a positive effect on brand trust. In addition, brand trust has a positive effect on brand attachment, indicating that it affects affection on the brand depending on the degree of trust on the brand. Brand attachment had a positive influence on revisit intention and positive influence on word of mouth intention. Therefore, the proper construction of brand identity is linked to the acquisition of fixed customers by linking with the intention of repurchase, and it affects the profit generation of brand, so the brand manager can confirm that proper establishment of brand identity and marketing strategy should be set up.

  • The purpose of this study is to emphasize the need for brand equity management to survive in a rapidly changing medical environment by identifying the impact of digital customer experience on brand equity and analyzing the influence of hospital brand equity on word-of-mouth (WOM) intention. The main findings are as follows. As a result of analyzing the effect of digital customer experience on brand equity, the relationship between aesthetic value and brand equity, functional value and brand equity, customer service value and brand equity all showed significant results. In addition, the relationship between brand equity and WOM intention also showed significant results. These findings have practical implications for revealing the importance of the digital service environment in building hospital brand equity, in strengthening relationships with customers and WOM activities, and suggesting the provision of customer services and benefits using digital technology.

  • This study is to investigate extensively the negative word-of-mouth responses and intentions of the public library users. It selects and analyzes empirically some of the antecedents of the complaining behaviors including severity of dissatisfaction attitude toward complaining, difficulty of the complaining, likelihood of success, product/service importance, external attributions, loyalty, and former experience of complaining. Final data through questionaries are obtained from 497 unsatisfied adult public library users in Taegu Metropolitan City, 443 of them analysed with SPSS 12.0 for Windows.

  • A recent online game is growing with the combined action of content as well as operating services. However, in previous studies, with a lot of focus on content characteristics of game than the game operating service quality studies have been carried out. This study targeted research online sports games, operating service quality and content characteristics of the game are analyzed effects of word-of-mouth and continued usage intention by applying Expectation Confirmation Model. as a result, it has found that as a result, it has found that sense of reality turned out to be a major variable affecting the content of the game even expectation confirmation. Directly and indirectly, it was confirmed that the role of empathy affect to expectation confirmation and satisfaction.

  • The current study sought to acknowledge the female sport fan as a sport marketing segment. In order to do so, female sport consumption motivation was identified and among motivation factors, factors effecting re-attend intention and word of mouth intention according to level of team identification was identified. In order to accomplish the purpose a focus group interview was conducted concerning female sport fans, and a survey took place in Korean Pro-sport event collecting 300 data. Among 300 data 248 data were used for the analysis. Using Lisrel 8.7 and SPSS 15.0 correlation analysis, descriptive analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis was conducted. The results of study are as follows, First, 9 female sport consumption motivation was identified and among these factors, skill, achievement, drama, and escape had a positive effect on re-attend intension. Second, among 9 female sport consumption motivations skill, achievement, and social factor had a positive effect on word of mouth intention. Third, among the motivation factors, factors effecting re-attend intention had difference on the level of team identification. Forth, among the motivation factors, factors effecting word of mouth intention had difference on the level of team identification.

The Effects of Information Satisfaction on Customer's Trust and Future Behavior Intention in Open Markets (오픈마켓의 정보만족도가 고객 신뢰와 미래행동 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The primary purpose of this study is to examine the effects of information satisfaction on customer trust and future behavior intention in open markets. Based on relevant literature reviews, this study posits three information satisfaction characteristics, that is, seller information satisfaction, product information satisfaction, and transaction procedure information satisfaction as key determinants of customer trust and future behavior intention. And then we structured a research model and hypotheses about relationship between these variables. A total 253 usable survey responses of open market users have been employed in the analysis. The major findings from the data analyses are as follows. Firstly, all three kinds of seller information satisfaction, product information satisfaction, and transaction procedure information satisfaction have a positive influence upon customer trust. Secondly, customer trust have very significantly related to repurchase intention in open markets.

Complaining Intentions and Its Antecedents of Academic Library Users (대학도서관 이용자의 불평의도와 그 선행요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to investigate extensively the complaint responses of the academic library users, with a special regard to those in Daegu Metropolitan City and in Kyungpook Province. It selects and analyzes empirically some of the antecedents of the complaining intentions including perceived severity of dissatisfaction perception of free use, attitude toward complaining, cost of the complaining, likelihood of success, product/service importance, external attributions and loyalty; and complaint intentions including exit intention, voice(redress seeking) intention, negative word-of-mouth intention and third party complaints intention of the academic library users, based on the theoretical backgrounds. Final data through questionnaires are obtained from 582 unsatisfied academic library users in 5 universities in those areas, 542 of them analysed with SPSS 11.0 for Windows.
