This study is aimed to develop standard metadata model and develop elements and present the importance of oral history archives that contrast with literature history. The study analyzed standard metadata description elements that can express contents and forms of oral history archives as information. Furthermore, it designed Project, Management, Record, and metadata modeling as a Related record domain for the sake of building digital oral archives. Finally, the study gave shape to real oral history archives based on basic elements, details, and design principles of division elements.

This study aims to analyze the research trends of oral history research in Korea from 1991 to the present, and to provide basic data on the future direction of oral history research. For these purposes, 439 research articles of domestic oral history researchers from 1991 to 2018 were retrieved by keyword search from Research Information Sharing System (RISS) in Korean Education and Research Information Service (KERIS). The research trends of domestic oral history were analyzed by the volume of periodical research papers, major journals, authors and research funds, research fields and research contents, and international cooperation. Finally, based on the results of the study, the implications were summarized, and direction for follow-up research was provided.

Oral history research is carried out through collecting information about a living person. The data collected from an oral history project is not a mere fact or a mass of information but accounts of persons who reveal their own personalities. For this reason, oral history research and data collection and the use of such data must be based on rigorous ethical standards. The Bioethics and Safety Law shares a similar view on human subject research, and the Institutional Review Boards includes human subject research as a subject of review and management. However, the Bioethics and Safety Law's protection of personalities and human rights focuses on life sciences methodologies, which are not suitable for qualitative research, such as an oral history of a value oriented and critical approach to human beings. This study examines the details of the Bioethics and Safety Law related to human subject research and the problems that may arise when this law is applied to subjects in humanities and social sciences such as oral history. Through this study, alternative methodologies, which can be used for oral history research, while maintaining academic autonomy, are suggested.

구술채록은 특정 주제의 연구사 기록화 작업에 있어 후대에 생생한 역사체험을 전승할 수 있는 최적의 연구사업이다. 특히 국내 천문우주과학 분야의 원로들이 대부분 연로하다는 점에서 한국천문학 발전사에 대한 구술채록은 시급성이 더욱 요구되고 있다. 이에 한국천문연구원 고천문연구센터는 그간 기관에서 자체적으로 수행해 온 사료분류체계 수립작업과 단발적인 구술채록 경험을 기반으로 본격적인 구술채록 연구사업을 수행할 계획이다. 이 연구는 한국천문학 발전사 구술채록 사업의 절차적 방법에 대한 기획론이다. 크게 (1)구술채록 로드맵 수립, (2) 구술기록 생산 프로세스, (3) 산출물 관리 및 활용으로 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 구술채록 로드맵 수립에 있어서는 현대 한국천문학 발전의 태동기 1950년대 중반을 기점으로 역사연구 및 주제분류를 중심으로 천문학 구술기록 특성화를 기한다. 이를 기반으로 구술대상자를 선정하고 큰 맥락의 역사와 개인 생애사를 교차하는 분석 틀을 중심으로 인터뷰 질문지를 추출한다. 이 과정에서 구술대상자의 소장 사료를 도출하여 미리 잠재적 사료 수집을 도모하도록 한다. 둘째, 본격적 구술기록 생산 프로세스에서는 전 단계에서 이행한 수집정보를 바탕으로 구술 산출물을 제작한다. 면담일지, 상세녹취록, 요약본, 이용동의서 등 기타 필요한 구술 제반 서식을 바탕으로 구술 동영상을 산출하고 라벨링한다. 이 산출물에 대한 사실관계 검증 후 최종 산출물 완성 및 기타 행정 처리로 제작은 종료된다. 마지막으로 산출물 관리 및 활용에 있어서는 사료 수집 전략의 기반 자료와 다양한 지식정보콘텐츠의 활용체계를 수립한다. 더 나아가 향후 이 연구사업은 구술DB화와 서비스 체계화를 위하여 구술아카이브 시스템을 설계하는 데 성과물을 활용한다. 이 연구기획론은 한국천문학이라는 특정 주제에 대한 것이므로 큰 틀에서의 방법은 기록학적 전개방식을 차용하지만, 역사연구와 기록의 특성화에 있어서는 한국천문학 연구사에 대한 깊은 이해가 동반되어야 한다. 따라서 광범위한 한국천문학 네트워크에 해당하는 다양한 학회, 교육기관, 연구기관 및 각종 사단법인 등의 역사와도 긴밀히 연결되어야 성과물은 비로소 가치 있고 풍부할 것이다. 이 연구를 시발점으로 향후 한국천문학 발전사 구술채록 사업에 대한 다양한 관학연구의 인식 공감대가 마련되기를 기대한다.

Recently, a topic of Archival Science can be said 'paradigm shift'. Therefore, this study aims to establish a relationship between oral record and Archival Science through concept of the archiving 'social memory' related to paradigm shift of Archival Science. In addition, an active role theory by an archivist as main agent of archival oral record management reflecting the characteristics of oral record based on this will be supported. Especially, even if it has already been handled through previous studies, it will be focused on drawing new meaning by applying creative perspective. Main content of this study is as follows. Firstly, discussion will be progressed by establishing the concept of the archiving 'social memory'. This is related to the topic of 'paradigm shift' in the Archival Science. Despite that active research has been conducted among mainly archival researchers overseas, it has not been handled yet in Korea. Therefore, this study aims to determine to organize this part as detail purpose. Secondly, the point will be progressed with a special focus on collecting and planning stages among the stages of records management. A viewpoint of the Archival Science should start from the stage of collecting and planning the previous record of production point of time, and then should be reflected for acknowledging the subsequent stages. Therefore, collecting and planning are the most important, and this is closely connected with a characteristic of oral record which production means collecting. Thirdly, the concept of 'oral record' is established with the viewpoint of the Archival Science. The various documents have been producted through oral interview has been known to many oral history researchers as 'oral source'. It aims to conceptualize them as 'oral record' with the viewpoint of the Archival Science. Fourthly, it is an establishment of meaning why oral history should be handled in the Archival Science. It is necessary to rationalize the purpose and its appropriateness handling oral history in the Archival Science. It should clarify the reason why oral history is important in the Archival Science and what it means. This will help examine the meaning of the recording of 'oral record.' A characteristic of the oral record can be effectively revealed through the recording, and ultimately, it aims to be able to shed new light on the value of oral history and oral record. Finally, it defines the role of archivist in oral history. A point that archivist in oral history is not just an assistant who organizes and preserves oral records collected by researchers will be emphasized and persuaded. In this study, oral history study in the Archival Science which has obtained appropriateness by the theoretical discussion as above should be conducted in a connection with other studies without occupying oral history by the Archival Science and in a direction of the leap of Korean oral history study. If this is possible, it will contribute to development of the Archival Science and of study area expansion, enhancement of the role and potential of archivist, at the same time, eventually it will positively influence on oral history study.

Dance is an art that includes not only art historical facts, but also a series of processes for dancers' body, choreography, and the creation of entire process of dances and their lives. In other words, dance is the art of embodying the experience and consciousness of the dancer as the subject, and embodying it through the physical body, and therefore, the existing empirical study which relies solely on the literature in the history of dance study is difficult to deliver a complete history. Oral history is a new methodology historical writing that overcomes the limitations of research methods based on literature centered documents. Oral history in the field of dance is that the dancer becomes the subject of the history of dance's narrative. The memory and testimony of a dancer can become a history, complement the missing parts of the documentary record, and amount to analysis and interpretation to attempt the history of dance from various perspectives. The history of dance through oral history analysis thus generates another view from the literature. The oral history is acted as a prism that can explore the sociocultural discourse of the time and the history of dance. As a new academic challenge for the history of dance field, I expect to be able to review the artistic, social, and cultural functions and roles of dance beyond the limit of existing literature-oriented history study and to be able to progress to various the history of dance.

This study started with the question of whether the museum oral history recording projects, which have been increasing steadily in recent years, are being used in various forms, especially in exhibitions. This paper is emphasized on the need for the oral history-related projects to lead to various museum activities including exhibitions and educations and so on. As a practical example of this, to explore the future directions and tasks for oral history projects in museums 'A Research Project of Producing Oral History Video Clips for the Exhibition of IMF Financial Crisis Situations' of National Museum of Korean Contemporary History is analyzed. This research argues that oral history functions as an exhibition representation device that more actively reveal the reality of a specific historical event. Therefore, this study suggests that the museum can be developed as a venue for various discourses in which citizens participate actively using oral history.

Oral history research in Korea began with the effort to find out the truth behind the hidden historical issues that occurred during the mid-1980s. Since then, attempts to record the major issues through contemporary Korean history orally has increased. From the late 2000s, the focus shifted to local and smaller village units. In Busan, from 2009 to 2016, 33 oral history projects from 10 government agencies were conducted. This research was carried out to investigate what kind of oral records has been produced in Busan from the said period and how they are managed. With these findings, possible solutions to preserve and utilize the oral records as the locality archives are suggested.

본 발표는 대한민국 해기사 커뮤니케이션 역량 강화를 위해, 해사 영어 구술시험 개발의 필요성을 타국의 사례 등을 통해 제안하고, 이를 위해 시범 개발 중인 "한국형 해사 영어 구술시험"의 개발 제작 과정과 현재 개발 진행 사항을 공유하고, 향후 추진 방향을 모색하기 위함이다. 따라서 본 발표에서는, 구술시험 평가 수립을 위한 유관 산업 문헌 조사(국제 교통 관련 산업 의사소통 지침, 평가 척도), 해기사 직무에 따른 영어 구술시험 문제 개발 계획 수립 및 시험 설계 시 검토 사항, 모의 구술시험 설계 및 시행, 모의시험 효과 측정, 측정 결과에 따른 향후 평가 척도 개발 시 고려 사항, 구술 평가를 인공지능 평가 방법 도입 방안 모색 등의 과정을 순차적으로 소개하고, 이에 대한 결과물을 공유하며, 향후 발전 방향을 제안하고자 한다.
