Adequacy Analysis of Tunnel Management System in terms of Operational Safety (터널관리시스템의 안전운영 적정성 분석)

  • Length and the number of tunnels has increased 10% annually. Tunnel construction has positive effect in nature and driving condition. However, the structure of tunnels lead to a greater probability of major accidents. For this reason, tunnel is focusing its attention on the rapid incident handling and disaster management to build a tunnel management system in recently. In this study, tunnel management system adequacy analyzed in terms of operational safety using IPA and AHP analysis. IPA analysis results using the portfolio chart, incident management factors has a large gap between important and satisfaction. Disaster management is analyzed high ranking in priority. However, incident management factors are derived first priority in AHP analysis. This study determined that the results are meaningful to practitioners in the field is determined. In addition, practitioners comments should be reflected primarily for tunnel operational safely.

Development of Incident Detection Model Using Compression Wave Test Module (압축파 검사 모듈을 이용한 돌발상황 검지 모형의 개발)

  • This study aims at developing the model that is able to detect the compression wave, which is included as a similar situation in incidents, that causes false applicable to the similar character such as incidents in the incident detection model for expressways. In this study, it has been checked whether the number of false alarms is decreased or not by modularizing this model for being able to applicable to other models such as DES and DELOS, etc. which do not perform the compression wave test based on the compression wave test process of APID model which has been being used in the expressway traffic management system currently. The evaluation in this study focuses on the sensitivity of the model and the results analysis is performed classified by each polling cycle. And how well these models are working is evaluated by each polling cycle. In addition to this, the detection rate, the false alarm rate and the average detection time in both the existing models and the model in this study are calcuated. As a result of appling the model in this study, it is found that the false alarm rate is improved through the reasonable decrease in the number of false alarm frequencies and there are not remarkable changes concerning the detection rate and the average detection time. To sum up, it is expected that a good number of improvement effects will be occurred when this model is applied to the actual expressway traffic management system.

  • According to the accident statistics published by the National Police Agency in 2007, the number of commercial vehicle accidents explains 3.5 percent of the total number of traffic accidents of the year. Compared to other types of vehicles commercial vehicles may provide more serious damages to both driver himself and passengers. Thus, they generate more serious social and economic problems. There have been various forms of systems such as a digital speedometer or a black box to meet the social requirement for reducing traffic accidents and improving safe driving. However, since the current systems are based on the data often accidents happened, there are lots of limitations to control drivers in real-time. Also, the current speedometers provide drivers with only speeds of vehicles and RPM information regardless of actual dangerous drive behaviors. Therefor, they lack of the effectiveness in terms of safety. In this research, real-time information systems for improving driver safety based on automatic risky driving behaviors, and thresholds to determine risky driving patterns were studied.

  • Currently there are many standards of network management. They are: SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol - for Internet management), CMIP(Common Management Information Protocol - standardized by ITU-T and ISO), RMON(Remote network MONitoring - for distributed management of the LAN segment), and so on. Especially RMON has created the many concerns in order to manage subnetworks of a large network, but it has negative aspects. For instance, routers or hubs with RMON capability are expensive to a network manager because of adding heavy management cost. Moreover it imposes a heavier burden on network manager, because it must use a network management tool which will be additionally needed with RMON device. This paper proposes a model of PC based RMON Agent system. The RMON Agent system monitors the traffic on LAN segment through the use of a Virtual Device Driver(VxD), based on PC. In term of cost this model will replace the expensive RMON device, and eventually enable a network manager to manage LAN segment more efficiently, due to reduced cost.

  • 2009년 경찰청 통계자료에 따르면 교통사고 사망자 중 안전 운전 불이행, 중앙선 침범, 신호 위반, 안전거리 미확보 등 운전자의 부주의에 의해 이루어진 사고가 약 90%이상을 차지하고 있어 심각한 사회적 경제적 문제를 초래한다. 이러한 운전자의 운전습관 개선 및 안전운전에 대한 사회적 요구, 사고 기록 등의 요구에 부응하기 위하여, 디지털 주행기록계 차량용 블랙박스 등 다양한 형태의 시스템이 사용되고 있으나, 이러한 시스템은 사고 후 차량데이터를 기반으로 위험운전여부를 분석하여 운전자를 관리하기 때문에 실시간으로 운전자를 관리하기에는 큰 한계가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 3축 가속도 센서와 GPS를 사용하여 위험운전 여부를 판단하고, 그 결과를 계수화하여 운전자의 정숙 운전 지수를 계산하여 보여줌으로써, 안전 운전과 급정차 급출발에 따른 연비 악화를 개선할 수 있도록 한다.

  • RFID/USN은 여러 산업분야 및 실생활에 많은 활용이 기대되는 분야이다. 그 중 RFID는 교통카드 및 자산관리, 물류관리, 출입통제 등 여러 분야에서 적용되고 있다. 최근 군부대에서까지 RFID 시스템을 활용한 'u국방' 체제 확립에도 그 적용이 확산되고 있다. 그러나 RFID 시스템의 경우, Tag의 규격 및 프로토콜에 따라 Reader의 전반적인 사양이 달라지는 문제가 발생하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제에 착안하여 ATmel사의 읽기/쓰기가 가능한 IDIC인 T5557을 활용하여 RFID 시스템을 구현하고, 임의로 설정한 Tag ID 정보를 이용하여 터미널 프로그램을 통해 수신 가능함을 보였다.

  • 최근 공공장소에서 디지털액자와 같은 디스플레이 제품에 대한 상용화가 늘어나는 추세이다. 버스, 지하철 등 교통정보를 표시하는 디스플레이 장치에 광고가 사진이나 문자 형태로 보여 지게 된다. 하지만 이러한 시스템들은 해당 기기들의 관리자에 의해 PC로 제어하게 되는데 그 방법과 장소가 다소 제한적이기 때문에 불편 할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 스마트 폰으로 TCP/IP 통신을 통해서 무선네트워크 방식으로 디지털액자를 쉽고 편리하게 제어 하고자 한다. 추가적으로 가정이나 회사 등의 환경에서도 적용하여 손쉽게 누구나 디지털액자에 모바일 애플리케이션을 이용하여 이미지를 등록, 편집 등 편리하게 관리 할 수 있도록 디지털액자와 모바일 애플리케이션을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • 현재 선박관제시스템에서는 관제정보들을 관제사가 직접 수기로 작성하여 관리하고 있다. 그 과정에서 관제사들은 번거로움을 느끼고 부정확한 정보 전달을 유발하기도 한다. 이에 본 논문은 관제사들이 구두로 녹음한 내용을 자동으로 문자로 저장하고, 저장된 선박 정보를 다시 음성 및 문자로 확인해볼 수 있는 시스템을 구현한다. 본 논문을 통해 관제사들이 보다 편리하고 정확하게 관제 정보를 관리할 수 있기를 기대한다.

  • There are many problems of interoperability between ITS system equipments since the protocol standard for a network center and a node has not defined. In this paper, we consider the use of the SNMP to solve the interoperability problem, and apply the SNMP in the case of a CCTV as an example. Also, we defined its corresponding MIBs and accomplished the interoperability test, where the method of controlling the CCTV is explained and the data transmitted on the network are shown in a hexadecimal format. Our results are expected to be helpful for a guideline or feasibility test as nationwide data to support the interoperability of ITS systems between a network center and nodes.

  • Image-based traffic information collection systems have entered widespread adoption and use in many countries since these systems are not only capable of replacing existing loop-based detectors which have limitations in management and administration, but are also capable of providing and managing a wide variety of traffic related information. In addition, these systems are expanding rapidly in terms of purpose and scope of use. Currently, the utilization of image processing technology in the field of traffic accident management is limited to installing surveillance cameras on locations where traffic accidents are expected to occur and digitalizing of recorded data. Accurately recording the sequence of situations around a traffic accident in a freeway and then objectively and clearly analyzing how such accident occurred is more urgent and important than anything else in resolving a traffic accident. Therefore, in this research, existing technologies, this freeway attribute, velocity changes, volume changes, occupancy changes reflect judge the primary. Furthermore, We pointed out by many past researches while presenting and implementing an active and environmentally adaptive methodology capable of effectively reducing false detection situations which frequently occur even with the Gaussian Mixture model analytical method which has been considered the best among well-known environmental obstacle reduction methods. Therefore, in this way, the accident was the final decision. Also, environmental factors occur frequently, and with the index finger situations, effectively reducing that can actively and environmentally adaptive techniques through accident final judgment. This implementation of the evaluate performance of the experiment road of 12 incidents in simulated and the jang-hang IC's real-time accident experiment. As a result, the do well detection 93.33%, false alarm 6.7% as showed high reliability.
