경영 모의 게임의 교육 효과에 영향을 주는 성공 요인에 관한 실증적 연구

  • IT기술의 발달은 사회 구성원들에게 기존의 방법과 다른 새로운 교육방법을 요구하고 있으며, 체험교육과 경험교육이 강조됨에 따라 웹 기반의 가상환경에서 체험교육을 할 수 있는 경영 모의 게임에 대한 중요성이 커지고 있다. 그러나 이러한 경영 모의 게임의 이점에도 불구하고 국내에서는 경영모의 게임의 활용도가 매우 낮은 편이며, 그 교육효과에 대한 실증적 분석도 미미하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 경영 모의 게임의 교육효과에 영향을 주는 성공요인에 관해 실증적 분석을 수행 하였다. 분석을 위해 경영 모의 게임에 참가한 교육생을 대상으로 컨텐츠 특성, 참가자 특성, 교육환경 특성이 교육효과에 영향을 미치는가에 대한 통계분석을 수행 하였다. 통계 분석 결과, 컨텐츠 특성, 참가자 특성, 교육환경 특성은 게임의 교육효과에 영향을 미친다는 유효한 결과가 분석되었다. 통계적 분석 결과 도출한 성공 요인을 기초로 활용방안을 제시하였다.

Effects of SW-STEAM Education for Elementary School: A Meta-Analysis (초등SW융합교육의 효과에 대한 메타분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to synthesize and specifically analyze the effects of elementary SW-STEAM Education on learning outcomes by using meta-analysis. 29 papers are selected and total of 60 effect sizes are deduced. Total effect size is a medium effect of .35, which reveals significant effect on the cognitive and affective domains, and 8 moderator variables explain the difference in total effect sizes as well. The results show that SW-STEAM education is effective for elementary students' learning outcomes. Practical implication for design and implementation are addressed.

Comparison of the Effects of Robotics Education to Programming Education Using Meta-Analysis (메타 분석을 이용한 로봇교육과 프로그래밍교육의 효과 비교)

  • The positive impacts of robotics education and programming education on learners are similar. However, robotics education differs from programming education because it includes purchasing and building robots that cause financial and cognitive load of learners. Due to these differences, two kinds of education may not possess equal efficacies for all schools or all learning objectives. To verify this hypothesis, we conducted meta-analysis of studies on robotics education published in South Korea to estimate the effect sizes and compare it to that of programming education. The difference between the average effect sizes of robotics education and of programming education was significant, as the former was 0.4060 and the latter 0.6664. The average effect size of programming education was significantly larger than that of robotics education for primary school students. Middle school students achieved the highest results in both robotics education and programming education. Also, robotics education became more effective than programming education as students were older. Analysis on objectives showed that programming education uniformly affected all areas, whereas robotics education had more impact on affective domain than cognitive domain. Robot construction had the largest effect size, followed by robot construction and programming, robot programming, and robot utilization. Programming education has larger positive impacts on students overall compared to robotics education. Robotics education is more effective to upperclassmen than programming education, and improves affective domain of students. Also, robotics education shows higher efficacy when combined with various subjects.

Meta-Analysis on the Effects of Programming Education using Educational Programming Languages (교육용 프로그래밍 언어를 사용한 프로그래밍 교육의 효과에 관한 메타분석)

  • In this paper, we investigate the effects of programming education using educational programming languages. We select 70 papers which contain 101 individual experimental studies we can estimate the effect size from. The average effect size of the studies is .641, which means that programming education has modest effects on the learners. The average effect size of the learners' cognitive and affective domains are 0.632 and 0.666, respectively. The average effect size by the controlled variables such as school level, experimental periods, and programming languages have no statistically significant difference. The results of our study show that the experimental group receiving programming education, can be expected perform about 23.9% better compared to the control group having received no programming education.

Effectiveness of Gifted Education in Non-cognitive Areas using Meta-analysis (비인지적 영역 영재교육 효과성에 관한 메타분석)

  • In this study, the meta-analysis technique was applied to investigate the effectiveness of gifted education in non-cognitive areas. Studies conducted during the years from 2002 to 2012 were searched and then the outcomes from the 18 studies were used for meta-analysis. The statistically positive effects were in the leadership programs (the combined effect size=1.226, p<.001), in the career programs (the combined effect size=1.103, p<.001), in the programs related to social skills (the combined effect size=1.684, p<.001), in the programs for gifted students who show underachievement (the combined effect size=1.486, p<.001), and in the bibliotherapy programs (the combined effect size=0.613, p<.001) for the gifted. Implications of the study were discussed in depth based on the results.

  • This study was conducted to develop a tool to investigate and analyze the educational effect of the school space innovation project, which is being promoted on a large scale at the national level. In order to analyze the educational effect of school space innovation, it is first necessary to analyze the structure of the space altered by the school space innovation. Research and analysis should be possible, so a user survey tool was developed for this purpose. It is expected that the survey tool in this study can be used for pre-investigation in the pre-planning stage of the school space innovation project and as a post-evaluation tool for investigating and analyzing the educational effects of space innovation.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the economic effect of educational investment. In order to finding this. I have investigated to historical background of educational investment and as the method of analysis I examined the rate of return approach such as the residual approach. and the simple correlations approach. Historically, economics of education has concentrated on surrounding the relationship between education and economy, which the implicit assumption that investment in education contributed to increase the quality and productivity of the labor force and thus raise future individual and national income levels. First of all, at this paper I found to need boldness to increasing the amount of education budget annually and also positively studying about economics of education in Korea for high and good quality analysis of expansion economy and education.

  • With the advent of the era of artificial intelligence, robot education and teaching under its empowerment have been widely concerned and applied worldwide. The purpose of this study: systematically evaluate the application effect of AI educational robots in student education and teaching; the method of this study: use the computer to search for relevant education in the search tools such as "Web of Science", "CNKI", "ERIC", "IEEE" A comparative study of the effects of robot teaching and traditional teaching. The retrieval time is from January 2000 to January 2020. Comprehensive MetaAnalysis 2.0 was used for Meta analysis. The results of this study: A quantitative analysis of the 31 valid research literatures included, and an objective evaluation of the effect of the meta-analysis on AI educational robots. The analysis results show that the combined effect of AI educational robots on student learning effects is 0.465 This indicates that educational robots have a moderately positive effect on students 'learning effectiveness. The conclusion of this study: The application effect of AI educational robots in student education and teaching is better than traditional education methods, which can better promote student learning.

Effects of English Grammar Teaching in Korean Context: A Meta-analysis (메타분석을 통한 영어 교과에서의 문법 교육의 효과 분석)

  • This study aims to investigate the overall effects of teaching grammar in the Korean EFL classroom. A meta-analysis of 67 research findings in 30 articles was conducted to synthesize the results of these studies by calculating the mean effect sizes. This study reviewed and analyzed the previous studies in terms of subjects, treatment period, and types of grammar teaching. The results showed that teaching grammar in the classroom had beneficial effects on learners in general (d=.907). It was found to be more effective for middle school and university students than for elementary and high school students (Q=37.065, df=3, p=.000). There was no statistically significant difference in terms of treatment period and types of grammar teaching. Pedagogical implications and suggestions for Korean EFL learners are also discussed.

대학 창업교육이 진로에 미치는 효과성에 대한 연구

  • 창업교육에서 강조하는 창의성 역량은 사회에 필요한 융합형 인재 육성을 위해 반드시 필요한 부분이다. 하지만 이제까지 창업교육에 대한 효과성을 검증함에 있어서 창업분야에 대한 단편적인 효과중심으로 연구되었고 진로에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 효과 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 선행연구와 차별적으로 대학의 창업교육을 통한 역량함양이 사회에 진출을 앞두고 있는 대학생의 진로준비와 행동에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대해 실증분석 검증하였다. 2016년 8월부터 설문조사를 실시하였고 지역별 창업교육을 수강한 대학생 393개의 표본을 실증분석에 활용하였다. 분석결과 창업교육을 통해 함양된 협업적의사소통능력, 창의적문제해결능력은 기업가정신과 자기효능감에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 기업가정신과 자기효능감은 진로준비행동에 정(+)의 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 기업가정신, 자기효능감의 매개효과 검증에서 협업적 의사소통능력, 창의적 문제해결능력과 진로준비행동 사이에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤지만 창업교육에 의한 창의성 역량들은 진로준비행동에는 직접적인 유의미한 영향이 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 이에 본 연구의 시사점은 대학의 창업교육의 효과 검증에서 창업교육의 양적인 확대보다는 기업가정신과 자기효능감을 고취 함양시킴으로써 진로준비행동에 긍정의 영향을 미친다는 시사점을 도출 할 수 있었다. 또한 대학 창업교육의 중요성 검증과 향후 다양한 효과에 대한 평가를 학생창업 영역 뿐만 아니라 다각도로 추가 연구가 필요하겠다.
