  • 광범위한 스마트폰의 보급으로 인해 관련 APP 시장 또한 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 많은 APP이 개발되고 있지만 대부분 특정 분야에 집중되어 있으며 교육용 APP이 시장에서 차지하고 있는 비율은 극히 낮다. 시장 비율이 낮은 이유는 기존 출시된 대다수의 교육용 APP이 가지는 두 문제점 때문이다. 첫 번째는 동일 콘텐츠의 반복학습으로 인해 재사용 빈도가 많이 낮고 자기주도학습 능력을 이끌어 낼 수 없다는 점이며 두 번째는 문제 제공 및 정답 확인의 단순 구조로 되어 있어 사용자가 자신의 수준 및 취약 부분을 분석하기 힘들다는 점이다. 본 논문은 스마트폰 환경에서 앞서 언급한 두 가지 문제점을 해결하기 위해 시스템 구조 변경 없이 콘텐츠 변경이 가능하며 사용자의 수준을 파악할 수 있는 기능을 가진 사용자 맞춤 교육을 위한 교육용 앱 설계에 대하여 제안한다.

  • In this paper, we describe the learning and quiz app using the app inventor and conducted the related questionnaire. We developed a learning philosophy for preliminary early childhood teachers using the developed apps and taught them how to utilize them in early childhood education by explaining the apps and using the app inventor. Through questionnaires, we confirmed the learning effect and the willingness to use in early childhood education. Through this study, I hope to improve the ability of early childhood teacher learning and to utilize the coding in early childhood education with the app developed as the app inventor.

  • The smart education is performed in the education field, but the contents related to the subject class performed in the various smart devices are insufficient and it is necessary to continue training teacher and learner for the app development education. Therefore this study developed and applied the contents production education program of the game type web app around elementary science 6 grade 1 term utilizing Storyline authoring tools, similar to PowerPoint and be executable in the various devices. After educating students, we investigate the convenience of the use of Storyline, satisfaction level of learning contents work activity, and the continued availability, and etc,. They are interested in the activity of the smart educational contents development and they wished to participate in the continued app development education and activity in spite of it make difficulty for using English menu.

  • The digital app-book is an advanced form of the electronic book (e-book), which attracts a lot of interests by the help of video, sound, sensors and a variety of interactions. As mobile devices have evolved, the demand of digital app-books is also rising substantially. However, the distribution of digital app-book contents is hard to meet the demand because the digital app-book requires a lot of programming cost for the interaction. To resolve this problem, Was verified and implementation as a library function of the interaction between device and user. The proposed library consists of three parts (user action recognition, device action, and content action) and provides various user-device interaction functions by combining methods of each part, which can support source code reusability, easy understanding and availability, and wide expandibility. The library was used in the development of natural science education app-book contents. As a result, it could reduce a lot of code lines and facilitate more rapid app-book development.

  • This study in coping with the current trend is to propose the environment for training 3-Tier App development being focused on the system to develop mobile applications where its related developers are scarce. Design and implementation of training system for the development of 3-Tier App in this paper is to realize the environment for software development for colleges as same as that in IT companies. For 3-Tier App development training system, 3 students with 3 computers work as a group. The above-mentioned 3 computers include a computer for development, Gateway server, and DB server together with legacy system. Also, each of the 3 students shall be given roles of the foregoing sections. We have educated 3-Tier App training system as a practical class for 64 students in junior students of computer information major. Through training session, it was confirmed that we can foster the students as custom-made talents who understand company's development environment. Also, the Comparison of 3-Tier and Stand-alone App Development Training System for 10 distinct description, we know that 3-Tier app development training system was very superior to stand-alone app development training system in the educational effects.

Revision and Implementation of App Inventor Open Source (앱인벤터 오픈소스 수정·구현)

  • Open source software allows revising and adding a new idea on them as well as debugging themselves. The open source software can be utilized as various educational programs as well as development of a commercial software products using them. MIT App Inventor, one of the block-based visual programming environments for education, supports building a local server and even revision of the platform itself by providing its own source codes. In this paper we implement App Inventor open sources on the local server. Especially we present how to revise and implement a new App Inventor platform reflecting their own requirements in schools or educational institutes and how to build a local server operating the revised App Inventor platform. They can provide more interactive educational environments to students and improve educational satisfaction through the active customizing of the platform itself such as adding new programming block components requested by students.

  • Authentic programming environment makes App Inventor interesting educational programming language. However, there are not sufficient studies for usefulness of App Inventor as educational programming language, so proper design of App Inventor education is not available. This article aims to design proper programming education plan using App Inventor. A survey was conducted to ask for appropriation of App Inventor education to teachers and students. As a result, teachers and students were satisfied with App Inventor for programming language in elementary and secondary schools, due to easy-to-use programming environment and real product run in their devices. But learners need to have prior knowledge to use App Inventor and teachers have to manage learners' devices properly. Finally, revised elementary and secondary programming education plan using App Inventor was presented.

  • This study is for using applications on smart devices at school class which designed by professor himself due to nonexistent of applications which related to textbook or course work even though fast developing smart devices and plenty of educational applications are in rapid ubiquitous environment. That is reason to make a learning environments of study course work anywhere at anytime and also make smooth communication between professor and learner with the smart devices advantages of being free of location and time. Also develop the application with the tools which the computer beginner can handle easily and quickly without contracting the work to commercial firms, it will lead to save money and time, be easily updated and modified from place of study, and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of study.

  • Smart device appeared as IT technology develops and it caused the proliferation of digital contents. It is because that App technology supports to install and use the contents in the smart device easily. App is developed by the creativity and the programming skill and the commercial value is generated in the process of development. In this paper, we taught how to develop APP to elementary school students by Android App Inventor program and observed the changes of their thinking through reflection-note which describes thinking of them. This research was carried out for 28 elementary school students, 5th and 6th grade. We found the attitude that students try to solve problem actively with the high interest. They enjoy showing developed App to others easily and quickly, which is the characteristic of smart devices. We also found a phenomenon that the students consider commercial value.
