  • 실습교육에서 효과적인 교수법을 모색하기 위하여 또래교수법, 동료교수법, 상호동료교수법 등의 개념을 고찰하였고, 투표법(vote counting)을 통해 각 교수법들의 입증된 효과에 대해 규명하고자 하였다. 각 교수법은 모두 학업성취도와 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 보건의료계열 학과의 실습교육에 대한 교수법은 실습내용과 각 교수법의 장단점을 고려하여 세분화되어 적용되어야 할 것이다. 보건의료계열 학과의 실습은 기자재 및 소모품의 사용을 필수로 하기 때문에 정해진 수업시간 내에 최적의 교수법을 적용하여 학습성취도를 향상시켜야 할 필요가 있다.

Evaluation of Teachers and Students on VR/AR Contents in the Science Digital Textbook: Focus on the Earth and Universe Area for the 8th Grade (과학 디지털 교과서 실감형 콘텐츠에 대한 교사와 학생의 평가 -중학교 2학년 지구와 우주 영역 콘텐츠를 중심으로-)

  • This study analyzed a group interview with six earth science teachers and eight middle school students to find out the evaluations and criteria they use to evaluate VR/AR contents (two virtual reality content and two augmented reality contents) in middle school science digital textbook. The study found the VR/AR contents were evaluated on four criteria as follows: VR/AR media characteristics; technical operation; user interface; and teaching-learning design. The evaluations can be summarized by each criterion. First, regarding VR/AR media characteristics, interesting features of VR/AR contents were considered relatively advantageous compared to other media like videos. However, its shortage of visual presence and inconvenience of using markers were mentioned as shortcomings. Second, in the technical operation criteria, teachers and students found the following conditions as technically challenging: failing to properly operate on a particular OS; huge volumes of contents in the application; and frequent freezing when using the application. Third, poor intuitiveness and lack of flexibility were found as negative aspects in user interface. Fourth, regarding teaching-learning design, the teachers evaluated whether the VR/AR contents delivered scientifically accurate information; whether they incorporated class goals set by teachers; and whether they can help students' inquiry. It turned out teachers gave negative feedbacks on VR/AR contents. The students evaluated VR/AR contents by assessing whether they help them with learning science but concluded they did not regard them necessary in science learning at school. Based on the findings, this study discusses which development direction VR/AR contents should take to be useful in teaching and learning science.

  • Computer technology and internet environment have been adapted to teaching and learning in Korean educational context. However, there are several problematic areas in operating web site for teaching and learning mathematics. This study aims to investigate the operating system, such as designing web site, contents information, and contents connection of NRICH web site that has been operated as a part of 'Millennium Mathematics Project' of Cambridge University since 1997. Based on these categories, this study also gives the implications for how to develop theme-centered contents, accumulation of continuous and long-term data, induction of user's participation, and various cooperation project.

  • 소셜 서비스의 확산에 따라 이러닝 분야에서도 소셜러닝이 확산되고 있다. 소셜러닝이 기존 교육과 구별되는 가장 큰 특징은 콘텐츠의 생산과 소비 방법으로, 네트워크를 통해 가치를 전달하고, 다른 사람으로부터 배운다는 것이다. 따라서 소셜미디어 콘텐츠와 소셜네트워크 활동 콘텐츠를 학습객체화하여 함께 이용할 수 있어야 한다고 본다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 소셜미디어 콘텐츠를 학습객체화 할 수 있도록 콘텐츠 생성모델 확장 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 소셜자원기반 콘텐츠 생성모델은, 학습객체 정의와 메타데이터 생성모델로 구성된다.

  • 본 연구는 오늘날 대학 교육과정의 일부로 중요시되고 있는 봉사학습에 대한 것으로써 봉사학습 교육과정의 하나인 해외봉사활동 프로그램을 어떻게 개발하고 체계적으로 운영하여 교육적 효과를 높일 것인지를 삼육대학교의 사례를 중심으로 제안한다. 대학은 봉사학습의 일환으로 해외봉사프로그램을 운영함에 있어 지도교수, 학생, 학교 봉사관련부서(사회봉사단 혹은 봉사센터)가 역할의 분담과 상호 협력을 통해 일관성 있으면서도 조화롭게 운영되도록 한다. 프로그램 성공의 핵심은 학교의 봉사교육에 대한 분명한 철학과 비전 제시, 지도교수들의 봉사정신과 세밀한 준비, 봉사활동 참여자들에 대한 철저한 사전교육, 봉사자들이나 팀들에 대한 봉사단의 체계적 지원활동 등이다.

Developing English Communicative Ability for Science Gifted Students through Project-based Learning of Publishing English Newspapers (프로젝트 기반 학습의 영자 신문 발간을 통한 과학 영재 학생의 영어 의사소통능력 향상)

  • This study aims to assure the positive influence of publishing English newspapers on improving English communicative ability and explores possibilities of enforcing an explicitly collaborative and independent learning atmosphere through a cooperative project-based publishing process. The project of publishing first KSA English newspapers has completed with a series of processes adopted from project-based learning and teaching strategies. The project involves the initiative process of selecting student editors based on their English abilities and commitment levels followed by planning subjects, themes and materials, distributing tasks and articles, and integrating and editing the outcome. Throughout the whole process volunteers participated independently and collaboratively with minimum supervision. The survey shows that the successfully published English Newspaper resulted in facilitating volunteers' positive self awareness and independent learning attitude as well as improving general English ability. The study discusses possibilities and advantages of publishing newspapers and magazines not for limited language education only, but for integrated project-based learning and teaching with suggestions for further related studies.

  • To develop the contents making profit, we propose the program operation methods that can apply the needs of students and the demand of the times, and consider the capacity of the operating agency overall. First, we suggest the distance training motivation, the effective content type, appropriate interaction ratio, the effective teaching and learning methods and the assessment methods. Second, we suggest the development strategy of educational contents, assess quantitative the demand of students and the will of teacher overall, measure the potential success. Third by applying the strategies in the educational field, we product the 12 major development field. These fields are divided into categories A and B, category A is the very high success field and category B is the high potential success field. By applying the proposed strategy, You will select the most suitable contents here and now.

A Study on Design and Implementation of Digital Content for Education of e-Commerce (전자상거래 교육을 위한 디지털 콘텐츠 설계 및 구현에 관한 연구)

  • Through the development of the Internet and multimedia systems, usage of cyber education with multimedia contents is increasing. On-line education differs from face-to-face education in that it overcomes the limits of the time and space, and supports a repeated self study at the student's study level while using several media and educational contents. In this paper, we will design and implement e-commerce educational content which is effective for students and useful for the process of cyber education. In addition, we will produce statistics from a questionnaire which questioned students on the effectiveness of the content.

Comparative Analyses between Students and Teachers' Perceptions on Learning Style in IBL(Internet Based Learning) (인터넷 수업의 학습양식에서 학습자와 교수자의 인식 차이에 대한 비교)

  • This study examined the analyses of students and teachers' perceptions on learning style in IBL. This study analyzed 386 elementary school (ES) and 627 middle school (MS) students and 130 cyber teachers how they perceived learning styles in IBL. They filled out the 15 items questionnaire about three different learning styles (self-directed preference style, cooperative preference style, and dependent style) in IBL, and were compared their perceptions in terms of students comparisons (ES vs. MS) and students and teachers comparisons. The results showed that the students and teachers preferred the self-directed preference learning style rather than cooperative preference style and dependent styles. However, the teachers judged the students more likely self-directed and dependent style than the students judged themselves. Also, there were statistically significant differences between ES and MS students on the dependent learning style and ES and MS teachers as well. In conclusion, this study suggests the different design and development strategies in IBL contents for ES and MS students preferred teaming styles. Tutoring strategies for cyber teachers should be also developed to understand learners' different loaming styles in IBL.

Teaching and Learning of University Calculus with Python-based Coding Education (파이썬(Python) 기반의 코딩교육을 적용한 대학 미적분학의 교수·학습)

  • This study introduces a development of calculus contents which makes to understand the main concepts of calculus in a short period of time and to enhance problem solving and computational thinking for complex problems encountered in the real world for college freshmen with diverse backgrounds. As a concrete measure, we developed 'Teaching and Learning' contents and Python-based code for Calculus I and II which was used in actual classroom. In other words, the entire process of teaching and learning, action plan, and evaluation method for calculus class with Python based coding are reported and shared. In anytime and anywhere, our students were able to freely practice and effectively exercise calculus problems. By using the given code, students could gain meaningful understanding of calculus contents and were able to expand their computational thinking skills. In addition, we share a way that it motivated student activities, and evaluated students fairly based on data which they generated, but still instructor's work load is less than before. Therefore, it can be a teaching and learning model for college mathematics which shows a possibility to cover calculus concepts and computational thinking at once in a innovative way for the 21st century.
