As an effort to further extend the existing understanding on the Psychology of Working Theory, this study examined gender differences in the paths to the attainment of decent work with Korean emerging adults. A total of 311 South Korean employees (mean age = 25.96, men = 94, women = 217) completed online questionnaires. We found that economic constraints inversely predicted work volition and career adaptability, which were positively relatedin turn, led to decent work. The overall indirect effect of work volition and career adaptability between economic constraints and decent work was significant., hHowever, the specific indirect effect of work volition and career adaptability was not significant. Further analyses showed a gender difference in the paths. Specifically, economic constraint was significantly negatively associated with work volition, and work volition predicted decent work only for women, but not for men. Moreover, economic constraint was significantly inversely associated with career adaptability, and career adaptability positively predicted decent work only for men, but not for women. Work volition mediated between economic constraints and decent work for women, while career adaptability had a mediating effect for men. It suggests that career resources for obtaining a decent work may be distinctive by genderdifferent groups.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between women's gender microaggression experience in the workplace and their percieved level of decent work based on the Psychology of Working Theory(PWT) among South Korean women employees. Specifically, we focused on testing the mediating role of career adaptability, an intrapersonal variable in PWT, and the moderating role of organizational culture of gender prejudice, a contextual variable in PWT, on career adaptability. Online survey data were collected from 219 South Korean women employees and Mplus 7.0 was used to test the simple mediation and moderated mediation effects based on structural equation modeling. Results indicated that there was no mediating effect of career adaptability between the relationship between gender microaggression in the workplace and decent work, however, a significant moderation effect was found by the organizational culture of gender prejudice on the mediating effect of career adaptability. Based on these results, practical implications of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

"휴대전화를 어디에 뒀더라?", "차 키를 어디에 뒀지?", "가스레인지 밸브를 잠갔던가?" 방금 한 일인데도 기억이 가물가물하고, 돌아서면 깜빡깜빡하는 건망증. 40, 50대가 되면 누구나 한두 번쯤 경험하는 일들이다. 오죽하면 중년의 건망증이 유머의 단골 소재가 됐을까. 처음 한두 번은 웃어넘기지만, 깜빡깜빡하는 일이 너무 자주 반복되면 슬그머니 '혹시 치매 초기 증상이 아닐까?' 하는 걱정이 든다. 이 건망증, 정말 웃어넘겨도 괜찮은 걸까.

이 동네에서 가장 맛있는 한정식집은 어디일까? 꽃배달을 주문하려면 어디로 전화해야 할까? 사람들이 일상을 통해 가장 빈번히 찾는 정보가 바로 지역 업소정보일 것이다. 여행차 혹은 업무차 찾아간 지역에서 괜찮은 음식점을 찾는 일에서부터 새로 이사한 동네에서 필요한 물품과 서비스를 조달하는 일 등 모두 정확한 정보를 필요로 하는 일이다. 인터넷 포털 사이트들은 지역별로 특화된 밀착된 정보를 제공하며 인터넷을 더 가깝고 더 유용한 매체로 만들어가고 있다. 지역정보 검색 서비스는 각 지역 업체, 업소들의 새로운 홍보수단으로도 각광 받고있으며이를통해포털업체들은새로운수익모델을발굴하고있다.

This study explored what latent classes appear according to the combination of Belief in a Just World (BJW) and social class of middle-aged adults, and examined whether there are differences in career transiton, perceiving a calling, and working as meaning in each class and what characteristics they have. 224 middle-aged people who experienced turnover through online and offline were surveyed and analyzed by Latent Profile Analysis. The participants were divided into 5 latent classes such as; 'Relative self-satisfaction', 'Social contentment', 'Relative deprived', 'Fairness trust' and 'Fairness distrust'. According to the results of MANOVA analysis to figure out if there are differences in career transitions, perceiving a calling, and working as meaning depending on latent classes, significant differences were appeared among latent classes. Finally, multinominal logistic regression analysis was conducted to examine whether demographic characteristics and 'decent work' affect the latent group classification. As a result, the more 'decent work', the higher the probability of belonging to the class with high BJW and social class. On the basis of the results of this study, the implications on the case conceptualization and counseling strategy for adults focusing on BJW and Social class in adults and future research were discussed.

모바일게임에 대한 장밋빛 미래를 이야기하던 게 불과 몇 개월 전 일이었다. 잘 만든 모바일게임 하나로 몇 억원 정도의 수익을 거둬들이고,해외 수출에 있어서도 국내 기술이 충분히 승산 있게 판매되며, 모바일 전문 게임업체로 코스닥 등록을 추진하는 업체까지 생겼다. 모바일게 임은 관련 분야 종사업체들의 희망이기도 했다. 개발 기간이 다른 소프트웨어에 비해 길지 않으며, 약간의 기간은 있지만 현금결제가 매월 깔끔하게 정산되고, 생산라인만 요령껏 갖추면 양산 모델로까지 운영이 가능한 괜찮은 사업모델이었다. 변덕이 심해서일까? 요즘 언론에서는 입장을 바꿔서 모바일게임 콘텐츠 위기론을 이야기하곤 한다. 몇몇 대표적인 업체를 제외하고는, 심지어는 그러한 업체에 속하는 업체들 조차도 모바일게임 시장이 쉽지만은 않다고 한다(먹고살기 어렵다 내지 힘들어 죽겠다는 표현이 오히려 정확하긴 하다).

"파괴는 건설이다."라는 말을 들은 일이 있다. 오래되고 더러운 건물들, 더러운 환경들을 과감히 부수어 버리고 새롭고 깨끗한 건축물, 환경을 건설해야 한다는 당위성 있는 농담 섞인 얘기를 흘려듣곤 했다. 필자가 전공하고 있는 학문의 이름이 파괴역학이어서 가끔은 친구 교수들에게 농담 섞인 핀잔의 소리도 가끔은 듣는다. 특히 Y대의 김 교수는 "왜 하필이면 미국까지 가서 공부하고 온 학문이 파괴역학이냐, 지금 당장 이름을 바꿀 수 없느냐"고 질책을 받은 일이 있다. 김 교수의 전공이 마침 국어학이라 "그럼 적당한 이름 하나 지어 달라"고 했더니 잠깐 생각지도 않고 즉석에서 "건설역학"이 어떠냐고 했다. 이름만으로 보면 "파괴역학" 보다 "건설역학"이 훨씬 긍정적인 느낌을 주니까 괜찮은 작명이라 생각할 수도 있겠으나 무엇을 다루는가의 구체적인 학문의 영역을 잘 모르고 단어 그 자체로의 의미로 언뜻 제안한 것이라고 금방 알아차린 나는 고소를 금할 수 없었다. 그 이상의 논쟁은 그 당시 없었지만 요사이도 가끔 김교수를 만나면 "건설역학"의 개명을 심심찮게 주장하기도 하는 것이다.(중략) 당시 없었지만 요사이도 가끔 김교수를 만나면 "건설역학"의 개명을 심심찮게 주장하기도 하는 것이다.(중략)는 것이다.(중략)

Objectives: This study was conducted to compare the present community health practitioners(CHPs)'s operating activities with their activity in 1989. Methods: Data were obtained two hundred seventy eight CHPs by self-administered questionnaire regarding duty traits, job satisfaction, and others. Results: The number of CHPs was 255 in 1989 and 224 in 2000. Age of CHPs in 2000 was much higher than that in 1989, and married women was 64.9% in 1989 and 95.9% in 2000. Both the primary duty of CHPs in 1989 and that in 2000 was medical service, and others(maternal health, infant health, family planning, and tuberculosis management, etc) are decreased in 2000, and community health service was added to duty of CHPs in 2000. 55% of CHPs in 1989 satisfied with their job, whereas about 80% of CHPs in 2000 satisfied with their job. The CHPs perceived that their primary necessary duty among requisite duty are medical practice(57.7%), health education(31.4%), and community health service(10.9%), in contrast, unnecessary duty are family planning(68.8%), tuberculosis management(11.1%), infant health(6.3%) maternal health(5.6%). Conclusions: These results suggest that there are such alteration of job satisfaction, needs and obstacles in duty traits of CHFs. These trend of duty traits are major issues to be caught for the health service in primary health post.
