광파장다중화(WDM) 기반 광인터넷 환경에서 논리적인 다중 링 구조에 의한 통신망 복구 기법을 연구한다. 이 방법은 링 토폴로지의 특성을 이용해 빠르고 간단한 복구 동작을 제공하며, 지역적인 복구를 수행한다. 동시에 다중 링 구성을 통하여 대체 경로의 분산과 공유 정도를 높이고 단위 링크당 예약되어야 하는 예비 광파장의 수를 줄임으로써 전체 통신망 자원 이용의 효율성을 높일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 위험공유 링크그룹(SRLG) 개념을 이용하여 링크 손실을 복구하는데 필요한 예비대역폭 비율을 토폴로지상의 Cut-Set을 이용해 계산하고 이를 실험을 통해 확인하였다.

In this paper, basic study of diagnostic device development for early detection of cancer, we present the optical property measurements of 12 histologically classified biological tissue and blood specimens in order to determine whether significant optical contrast exists for detection of disease(cancer). In vitro, optical properties of each 630nm, 660nm, 780n, 880nm and 940nm shows consistent changes in effective absorbtion coefficients, ${\mu}$$\_$${\alpha}$/ with tissue classification of pig an chicken and human blood according to the 27.3%, 35.4%, 45.6% and 59.1% of HCT. We found differences in optical properties at each of specific wavelengths and histologically classified biological tissue.

A wavemeter is realized using the fact that the coupling coefficient of a WDM coupler is a function of wavelength. Prototype devices with 1500 nm/1600 nm and 1510 nm/1550 nm WDM couplers are successfully fabricated and tested in the laboratory. The measurement resolutions are $\pm$0.27 nm over a wavelength range of 1515 nm~1576 nm for the device with 1500 nm/1600 nm WDM coupler and $\pm$0.103 nm over a wavelength range of 1520 nm~1543 nm for th4e device with 1510 nm/1550 nm WDM coupler. The dependence of operating characteristics on the input signal power is insignificant. However the temperature dependence is ~0.06 nm/$^{\circ}C$.

This study was carried out to elucidate suitable wavelength of light during development of fruit body in Lentinula edodes. The four colors of LED(Light Emitting Diode), blue, green, red and yellow, were irradiated for formation of fruit-body. The effect of color of LED at all growth stage, the lightness of cap showed darker in blue and green LED irradiation than that of red and yellow LED. The longer stipe were resulted in longer wavelength. And the activity of anti-oxidant did not showed big differences according to LED wavelength. We obtained higher commercial yields and lower ratio of abnormal fruit body in green LED than those in control(fluorescent lamp).

This paper studies network recovery method using logical multiple ring architecture embedded in WDM optical Internet environment. The multiple ring-based recovery method provides fast and simple network restoration operation, and performs local recovery that is detouring the failed link. The multiple ring architecture can provide higher resource efficiency by sharing the backup routes and reducing the number of spare wavelengths. This paper calculates the required spare capacity ratio using Cut-Sets in the given network topology and performs simulation for comparative analysis.

광굴절 결정은 실시간 홀로그램 기록 소자, 영상 증폭, 광교환, novelty filter등의 다양한 광정보 처리 영역에서 사용되어진다 광굴절 결정이 가지고 있는 여러 물리적인 현상들은 이미 잘 설명되어져 있지만, 아직까지 이해되지 않은 현상들도 적지 않다. 이동격자(grating translation technique) 방법을 사용한 광굴절 결정의 이광파 혼합실험에서 발견되는 공간 전하장의 감쇄 진동도 그 중의 하나이다. (중략)
