Seasonal Nutrient Analysis of Paddy Soils in Korean Type of Large Scale Environment-friendly Agricultural District (한국형 광역친환경 논 농업단지 토양의 시기별 양분 분석)

  • The study was conducted to investigate seasonal nutrient dynamics in rice-cultivated soils collected from farmhouses of three large-scale environment-friendly agricultural districts (LEAD), Jangheung, Suncheon, and Okcheon in which environmental-friendly agriculture has been exemplarily practiced in Korea. Among three districts, Crop- livestock cycling organic farming system had been introduced only in Jangheung. pH and EC of farmhouse soils of three LEADs were ranged between 5.5 - 6.7 and $0.4-1.0dS\;m^{-1}$ from March to September, respectively. T-N was observed to be high on the farmhouse soil in Suncheon and K was observed to be lowest on farmhouse soil in Okcheon. Concentration of $NH_4-N$ in soil was observed to be highest on June, in particular on the farmhouse in Jangheung, but rapidly decreased due to the loss of fertilizer applied in Spring. Yield and harvest index were the highest on the farmhouse in Okcheon in which total annual gross production $ha^{-1}$ was nearly three time higher than those of other two farmhouses. Farmhouse soil of Okcheon was maintained the highest seasonal nutrient balance due to the high input of fertilizer. It was estimated that K balance in the farmhouse soil in Suncheon dropped to $-60kg\;ha^{-1}$ on September, and it might have some effect on the less rice productivity due to K deficiency. Farmhouse soil in Jangheung was maintained low seasonal balance of T-N and P but showed the highest N use efficiency in the rice grain. Based on above-mentioned results, we think Jangheung farmhouse can be recommended as a model farmhouse of LEADs.

  • 전력수요의 증가 및 대규모 발전단지의 확장, 송 배전설비 확충의 어려움으로 계통이 복잡해지고 광역 정전 발생의 가능성이 증가하고 있다. 광역 정전 발생 시, 이로 인해 발생할 경제적 손실, 사회전반에 파급될 결과와 영향은 심각한 수준이므로 신속하고 안전한 복구방안의 수립이 중요하다. 또한 신속한 계통복구를 위해 정전 시 복구가능시간을 산정하고, 계통복구절차 방안을 제시하는 것이 중요하다. 우리 나라 계통복구절차를 보면 최초정전상태평가, 발전기상태평가, 계통복구방법 선택, 부하복구를 통한 정전복구 단계로 나눠볼 수 있다. 발전기상태 평가 단계에서 발전기들의 상태를 파악한 후, 기동순서를 결정한다. 본 논문에서는 광역정전 시 발전기 특성을 고려한 전력계통 복구를 위한 수학적 정식화를 하고 향후 연구 방향을 살펴보았다.

THE CONSIDERATION ABOUT DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION FOR LIGHTNING PROTECTION OF STRUCTURE (건축물의 낙뢰보호를 위한 광역피뢰침(ESE) 설계-시공 고찰)

  • IEC에 의하면 낙뢰의 보호효율은 1등급(최대98%), 2등급(최대95%), 3등급(최대90%), 4등급(최대80%)으로 나타내고 있으며, 광역피뢰침은 다수설치해야 하는 돌침형 피뢰침의 수량을 기술적으로 최소화 하여 건축물의 안전성과 경제성 등을 향상시키는 역할을 담당하고 있다. 그러나 이런 보호 능력은 설계 및 시공시 세심한 배려가 필요하다. 프랑스에서는 피격거리 60M를 한계로 하며 미국에서는 안전성을 좀더 신경 써 괴격거리 45M를 한계로 가능한 보호효율을 높이고 있는 실정이다. 광역피뢰침의 선정시 보호범위의 최대치 적용은 지양하고 보호 효율을 높여 적용함이 바람직하다. 또한 초고층 빌딩 및 APT단지의 경우 가급적 보호등급을 1등급으로 적용하는 세심한 배려가 필요하다. 시공시 광역피뢰침은 수평면 최고 돌출물(예:옥탈 및 안테나 등)의 설치 높이의 차는 2M이상이 필요하며 이격거리 또한 가급적 최대로 하는 것이 바람직하다.

  • 녹산국가산업단지는 부산광역시에서 서쪽의 연안매립지 형태의 공업단지이며, 이 지역은 1990년대 초반부터 약 10여년간에 걸쳐 산업단지가 조성되었다. 녹산국가산업단지는 연안 매립에 따른 연약지반으로 인하여 지반침하현상이 지속적으로 발생하고있으며, 이와 같은 이유로 2000년대 초반에는 침하계를 이용하여 지반침하현상을 관측하였다. 레이더 차분간섭도를 이용한 지표변위는 침하계 자료와의 비교 및 분석을 통하여 연구지역의 지반침하현상을 지속적으로 관측할 수 있으며, 실측 자료가 획득되지 못한 2000년대 중반과 후반의 지반침하현상도 측정할 수 있는 장점을 지니고 있다. 이번 연구는 2002년부터 2003년까지 획득된 RADARSAT-1 F4 fine-bem모드와 2004년부터 2007년까지 획득된 ENVISAT IS-2모드를 이용하여 2000년대 초반부터 후반까지의 녹산국가산업단지의 지반침하현상을 관측하고 이를 분석하는데 있으며, 관측결과 약 4년동안 최대 33 cm의 침하량을 보이는 곳도 있었다. 이 결과는 C-band 레이더 위성자료의 차분간섭도가 국가 주요시설물 지역의 지반침하 측정에 유용한 정보를 제공할 수 있는 중요한 사례가 될 것이다.

Analysis on the contamination and source of VOCs in groundwaters of Gwangju area (광주광역시의 지하수 중 휘발성유기화합물(VOCs)의 오염과 오염원 분석)

  • VOCs were detected in the 21 groundwaters out of 37 groundwaters sampled from around the Hanam Industrial Complex and the Gwangju stream. Ten components of chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons of VOCs were detected in the 18 groundwater samples. Among them, total trihalomethanes (TTHM) concentration is in the range of $0.1~36.2{\;}\mu\textrm{g}/L$, CECs concentration is $2.3~190{\;}\mu\textrm{g}/L$, and chlorinated solvents concentration containing PCE, TCE, etc. is $0.1~124.2{\;}\mu\textrm{g}/L$ respectively. Ten components of the aromatic hydrocarbons of VOCs were detected in the 5 groundwater samples, but their concentration are less than $1{\;}\mu\textrm{g}/L$. Detection frequency and concentration of the chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons components from the groundwaters in the Hanam Industrial Complex are higher than those of nearby downtown Gwangju stream. VOCs components except for TCE are lower than the MCL of USGS drinking water standard. TCE concentration of the 2 groundwater samples is over MCL, whose concentrations are 5 and 25 times higher than MCL, respectively. TCE is detected from the H8 and H10 groundwater samples and CFCs is detected H8 and H11 groundwater samples in the Hanam Industrial Complex. TTHM in study area is estimated from leakage of the main waters or sewage waters. Because most of the studied groundwater is under an aerobic condition, aromatic hydrocarbons are well degraded. But chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons are degraded very slowly.

  • This study which are recognized that the lack of empirical research about the efficiency of the elements of environmentally friendly housing development planned presented housing design elements and policies to revitalize for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by analyzing the effectiveness of reduction of greenhouse gas output. In addition, it used various models of DEA which are accepted until now effective technique to evaluate the performance of the organization. In conclusion, there are effective 5 regionals which are Seoul, Incheon, Ulsan, South Chungcheong Province, South Gyeongsang Province. other regionals was analyzed to be inefficient. The conclusion from this study are as follows: First, in case of 11 regionals which are analyzed to be inefficient, they have to difference plan elements to make up. So each region should establish strategy to complement vulnerability. Second, not only internal architectural factors but institutional, and external environmental factors also affect the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. And weighted scores also were moderately high. But levels of weighted scores still less than the ratio of Good quality housing. So it can be determined that evaluation of individual architecture still considered important. It need to pay more attention to the operating system and the external environmental factors.

A Methodology of Databased Energy Demand Prediction Using Artificial Neural Networks for a Urban Community (인공신경망을 이용한 데이터베이스 기반의 광역단지 에너지 수요예측 기법 개발)

  • In order to improve the operation of energy systems, it is necessary for the urban communities to have reliable optimization routines, both computerized and manual, implemented in their organizations. However, before a production plan for the energy system units can be constructed, a prediction of the energy systems first needs to be determined. So, several methodologies have been proposed for energy demand prediction, but due to uncertainties in urban community, many of them will fail in practice. The main topic of this paper has been the development of a method for energy demand prediction at urban community. Energy demand prediction is important input parameters to plan for the energy planing. This paper presents a energy demand prediction method which estimates heat and electricity for various building categories. The method has been based on artificial neural networks(ANN). The advantage of ANN with respect to the other method is their ability of modeling a multivariable problem given by the complex relationships between the variables. Also, the ANN can extract the relationships among these variables by means of learning with training data. In this paper, the ANN have been applied in oder to correlate weather conditions, calendar data, schedules, etc. Space heating, cooling, hot water and HVAC electricity can be predicted using this method. This method can produce 10% of errors hourly load profile from individual building to urban community.

Pedestrian Road at the Wall Space between Old Apartment Sites (공동주택단지 담장공간을 이용한 보행자도로 설치 가능성 연구)

  • Residential site should have pedestrian road passing through the center of the site just for convenience and safety. However, apartment complexes developed in the past, the sites are just stuck by walls and pedestrian roads are not placed, inhabitans have difficulties for facility use and safety. Therefore, residents solve the problems as follows: they utilize the spaces, between apartment building and the wall, as walking route, and demolish the parts of the wall for connecting sites. In this study, it was thought that pedestrian road could be emplaced at the wall space between sites. For this, a low-rise apartment complex in Gwangju was selected developed in 1990s, and whether the space for pedestrian road was examined. The width from 2.4m to 8.0m could be secured, and there could be placed the pedestrian road at the wall space. However, this study is limited for the possibility of securing space, for the opinion of residents that might be damaged from the pedestrian road did not reviewed.

  • 지중배전설비는 신도시 개발, 도심 고층빌딩의 활발한 신증축, 아파트단지 건설의 활기 등으로 계속 증가될 것으로 전망되며, 아울러 경제성장과 국민생활 향상에 따라 고품질 전력 요구는 필연적이며, 또한 지중화 요구도 증대되리라 본다. 지중설비 증가와 아울러 지중케이블 고장은 설비 특성상 장시간 광역정전의 우려가 있는 점을 감안하여 고품질 전력케이블의 기술개발에 끊임없는 연구가 있어야 할 것으로 본다.
