Analysis acceptance behavior on Model Reception in the General of TV Advertising (TV광고의 일반인 모델에 관한 수용행태 분석)

  • This monograph was probed effectively by using practical methods in a subjectivity study that was accessible in depth, departing from bygone behavior of functional quantity analysis of awareness and the opinions of young people about the general (public) model of TV advertising. The perception patterns resolved in this study sorted out four types in a Q-methodology. The result is divided as follows: 1 [(N=7): Advertising Consensus Type], 2 [(N=7): Advertising Negative Type], 3 [(N=5): Advertising Purchasing Reduction Type], and 4 [(N=1): Advertising Persuasion Orientation Type]. As such, we found very different types all over. Finally, this study reviews subjective acceptance as to the type of model reception with regard to general TV advertising, offering a developmental suggestion on the issue, and an agenda about it.

  • The debate surrounding advertising effectiveness is not to be overstated as a major source of advertising research. However, there is still a lack of discussion on the model for measuring the effects of government and public service advertising. This study focuses on this point and develops an index model that can evaluate government advertising. For this purpose, we conducted a survey of 800 respondents in 7 major cities. Based on the creativity evaluation factors (originality, clarity, and appropriateness) of government advertising and the evaluation factors (interest, avoidance, and relevance) of policy contents, a causal model that affects the cognition, attitude, and behavioral responses of the audience was set up. As a result of analysis, originality, clarity, interest, and relevance except for appropriateness and avoidance were meaningful variables for creating government advertising effect such as policy understanding, audience attitude, word of mouth intention of policy. In addition, policy understanding and audience attitude were the main mediating variable influencing the word of mouth intention of policy. Based on research results, this paper discussed the direction for creating effective government and public service advertising in the future.

  • The effects of message framing have been major research themes in marketing and advertising field and several studies on these effects have been conducted. The purpose of this study is to examine the direct effects of public service Advertising message framing and moderating role of temporal distance. The results indicate that message types have a significant effect on message reliability and acceptance intention. In addition, temporal distance plays a significant moderating role between the message types and the dependent variable. The results of this study suggest various implications in the public service advertising area.

The Sidedness Effects of Advertising Message: Moderating Effect of Self-Construal and Product Type (광고 메시지의 측면성 효과: -자아해석과 제품유형의 조절효과-)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine sidedness effects of a Ad message and moderating roles of consumers' psychological characteristics such as self-construal. This study also examine moderating roles of product type in these direct effects. To test these research hypotheses, this study conducted experimental designs. Two hundred thirty-eight undergraduate students were assigned to one of the four experimental groups. Message type and product type were manipulated as between-subject factors. The data demonstrate that message types have a significant effect on both attitude toward Ad and acceptance intention. In addition, consumers' self-construal plays a significant moderating role between the message types and the dependent variables. Furthermore, product types also shows a moderating effect on the accpetance intention, yet not on the attitude toward Ad. The results of this study suggest various implications by indicating Ad message as an important factor which can enhance customers' positive responses but has been passed over by the previous research. We also indicated the limitations of this study, and suggested the future research directions.

Reading Cognitive Culture by Intentional Instruction and Convergence Analysis in Advertising Content Stories (광고콘텐츠 스토리에 담긴 의도적인 지시체와 융복합적 해석소에 의한 인지적 문화읽기)

  • The This study aimed at clarifying that the cognitive interpretation code is essential for college students to read the correct culture while discussing the producer's story production system for creative advertising content and the process of interpreting the meaning of advertisers and the formation of principles and beliefs. The production of advertising content aimed at persuasion should first identify anachronistic reason system based on the target audience's perception principle. A concise analysis of the experiment found key clues that confirmed that a sample of the producer's intended story would be inconsistent with the clues of information that a college student could remember. I have tried to organize a semantic analysis tool that combines these key clues and as a tool for reading culture of the right time for college students. As a result, university student inmates were able to identify one side of positive communication: reading a new cognitive symbol culture based on their subjective experience and beliefs, rather than analyzing cross-sectional analysis of the primary language and non-verbal expressions of their advertising contents. In the future, if an advertising content story producer works to identify such a process in advance, it will help persuade inmates.

  • This study explores the relationship between images and texts through advertising production using images and texts, and analyzes the student works with the semiotics of Roland Barth. Since Barth emphasized the interpreter's interpretation rather than the producer's intention in his work, he interpreted the work as a receiver. It was analyzed in terms of socio-cultural meaning of what students produced in the works. A total of 64 classes were held for the first two classes in D high school. The results of analyzing students' works after the advertisement production class are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing Barth 's myth structure model, advertisement image and text are symbols and have meaning. Second, advertising image and text complement each other and have the characteristic of interrelationship that constitutes meaning. Third, By attracting the socio-cultural implications inherent in the students' advertising, their values and interests could be discovered.

  • Modern TV public advertisements of China began in 1986. As messages were spread and expanded to the public through TV media, the society as a whole started to accept the public advertisements and the influence of public advertisements increased ever more. Successful persuasion is an important prerequisite for realizing the effects of TV public advertisements and this study sought to examine persuasion strategy at this moment when media, messages and the audience are becoming diversified. It sought to know of the present situation of China's TV public advertisements particularly from the standpoint of Chinese and analyze persuasion strategy and usage based on the theory of persuasive communication.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between consumption value, advertisement acceptance attitude, and purchase intention according to the MBTI personality type. The results of a survey and analysis targeting the MZ generation with experience in purchasing digital products are as follows. 1.There was no difference between consumption value and advertisement acceptance attitude according to the MBTI personality type. 2. Among the consumption values, Factors of rarity value and emotional value had an effect on purchase intention. 3. Among the attitude of accepting advertisements, advertising favors, information trust and negative cognition had a positive effect on purchase intention. Accordingly, providing advertising content including information and interest about digital products is considered effective in marketing of the MZ generation, which represents flex consumption and minus-out consumption.

A Study on the Visual Image and Verbal Texts in Television Public Service Advertising (TV공익광고에 나타난 영상이미지와 언어에 관한 연구)

  • Public Service Advertising(PSA) is the integrated marketing concept including strategy and technology in all its aspects that pursue the changes of community to seek an agreement of its members by the intentional and the target oriented way. PSA to the exclusion of commercial intention reflects the current social flow and subject since it is focused to the social issue. PSA plays an important role in creating the further cultural value, and also affects present cultural value to advertising message. In this aspect, this study is very valuable to design the plan for further effective management of advertisement and to analyze communication strategy of PSA. This study is to make dear the nature of PSA by the analysis of contents of visual image and linguistics' factors in actual produced and broadcasted TV advertising, called 'Protection of environment' In the results, PSA related the environment is working to linguistic-centered persuading message corresponding to visual factor, this intends to educate and instruct the consumers in 1980's. PSA, therefore, shows a non-description nature without story line and a hero(heroin) on it. In contrast, after 1990's, PSA was made up image-centered and maximized the effectiveness public campaign through the activating consumer's judgement and intervention. We are able to know that it contributes to considering and persuading the consumer to suggest the story format through the visual way to deliver the message. This study of relationship between visual image and linguistics is a common trend appeared in all media including today's advertising, and may be a remarkable result to present proper direction of PSA campaign.

  • 본 연구는 TV광고음향의 사운드디자인에 대한 수용자 감성반응에 관한 연구이다. 연구방법으로 영상구조에서 음향이 없는 상태와, 음악설계사운드디자인을 제시 하였을 때 수용자가 받아들이는 음향감성반응을 뇌파측정을 통한 뇌 지수(BQT) 비교 방법으로 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 영상에 있어 사운드의 시청각적 감성효과가 사운드디자인설계에 의하여 달라질 수 있음을 정량적 방법으로 확인할 수 있었다.
