Effects of Empowerment Perceived by Advertising Agency Workers on the Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention (광고대행사 종사원들이 인식하는 임파워먼트가 직무만족, 조직몰입 및 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this research is to specifically verify the influence of empowerment factors of employees working at an advertising agency on job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention to suggest useful data for advertising agencies' efficient management of human resources. First, this study proved that as the importance of meaning and self-determination among the subordinate infrastructure factors of empowerment is emphasized, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment are increased. If the importance of competence and impact factors is emphasized, job satisfaction is increased. Second, as the importance of job satisfaction and organizational commitment is emphasized, turnover intention is decreased. Third, as the importance of the meaning factor among the empowerment's factors such as meaning, competence, self-determination, and impact, is emphasized, turnover intention is decreased. The result implies that the executives of an advertising agency should try to increase the influence of empowerment on reducing turnover intention by enhancing job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

Agglomeration Patterns of Advertising Industries and Spatial Networks of Advertisement Production (광고산업의 집적 특성과 광고제작의 공간적 네트워크)

  • The aim of this study is to examine agglomeration patterns of advertising industries and spatial networks of advertisement production in Korea. The focus of analysis is the agglomeration pattern of advertising industries within Seoul because these are agglomerated in Seoul like other business services. Analysis methods are local Moran's I index and location quotient with the regional percentages of each sector's number of employees. Clusters in Gangnam Area are related to start-up advertising firms and global agencies entering domestic advertising markets. Network analysis is used to investigate the spatial networks of TV advertisement production between advertising agencies(AA) and film productions(FP). After transformation of AA-FP network matrix to regional matrix centrality index and brokerage scores are calculated. This analysis shows individual region's different role and position in the AA-FP network. Many agencies in or out of Gangnam Area outsource most advertisement makings to film productions in Gangnam Area. Advertising industry dusters in Gangnam Area is important as of the destination of advertisement production networks and the circulation of those networks.

  • Many researchers have been explored job satisfaction in various context. Nevertheless, there are no empirical researches on the advertising designers's job satisfaction in Korea. This research is an exploratory examination regarding Korean advertising designers's organizational behaviour. In general, job satisfaction is determined by two major factors; personal and organizational factor. This research shows that korean advertising designers's job satisfaction is mainly determined by the organizational factor such as payment and promotion. Promotion was particularly significant amongst them and recognition also proved to be influential. Synthetically, the determining factors of advertising designers's job satisfaction consists of several predictors such as payment, promotion, and human relationships. This result may gives an assumption that the agencies have not provided designers with specialized evaluation system reflecting designers' job characteristics. Thesis concludes that agencies need to set a new evaluation and payment systems in order to elevate designers' job satisfaction in organization.

  • 기존 모바일 광고에 대한 연구는 광고에 대한 현황과 시사점에 대한 연구, 새로운 광고 표현 형태에 대한 탐색적 실험연구, 모바일 광고의 효과 및 장애요인 등에 대한 제한적인 연구에 국한되어 왔다. 실제로 현 시점에서 모바일 광고 기법들에 대한 체계적이고 실증적인 분류와 실제 각각의 광고 형태별 적용가능 분야에 대한 분석 연구는 없었다. 따라서 현재까지 등장한 모바일 광고 기법을 종합하여 재분류하고 광고 형태별 적용 분야에 대한 연구가 필요하다고 본다. 본 연구에서는 메시지 타입, 타겟팅, Delivery유형에 따라 분류한 모바일 광고의 기존연구를 바탕으로 실재 모바일 광고 대행사에서 사용되어지는 광고 상품을 Text, Icon, Media Contents형태로 구분하고 정보제공, 거래유도, 반응유도 및 빈도 그리고 경로 연계라는 측면에서 새롭게 구성을 시도하였다. 또한 광고 메시지 경로에 대한 각자의 광고 기법에 대한 MAP를 그려 실제적이고 실증적인 모바일 광고 체계를 발견하는데 그 의의가 있다.

  • N-스크린 환경에서 방송사들을 포함한 사업자들은 온라인을 통해TV 프로그램을 시청자들에게 제공하고 있다. 사업자들은 N-스크린 서비스를 운영하면서 광고를 통해 수익을 창출하고 있는데, 모바일 이용이 활성화 되면서 N-스크린 광고 시장 규모도 증가하고 있다. 모바일 환경에서는 화면 크기의 제약으로 인해 기존의 이미지, 베너 형태의 광고 보다 동영상 광고방식이 유리하여 이에 대한 수요가 높은데, N-스크린 환경에서 다양한 화면 사이즈를 가진 기기에 동영상 광고를 제공하기 위해서는 광고 소재 관리가 필수적이다. 또한 온라인 광고 제공에 관여하는 광고주, 광고 대행사, 플랫폼 사, 매체 사 간에 협업이 가능한 시스템 개발이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 N-스크린 환경에서 동영상 광고를 효율적으로 제공하고 운영하기 위한 시스템을 제안한다.

An Exploratory Study on Classes-related Stress Typical Difference of Creative′s - Regarding Advertisement Agency in Korea- (크리에이티브 직군들의 직급에 따른 스트레스 유형 차이에 관한 연구 -국내 광고대행사 중심으로-)

  • This study was done to investigate the situation of classes-related stress in creative's of korean advertising industry. Though creative's are carrying out the most important roles in advertising agency, there has not been much study on them. In this point view, this study approached by examining prior studies on classes-related stress. The findings of this study were as followings ; In all classes, client related stress were the highest. The classes of the directors of bureaus have the highest stress on the average of five high items in the stress detail items. The classes of the staffs have higher stress, and the next is the classes of the heads of departments. The classes of the directors have higher stress about themselves especially. The classes of heads have higher stress for family complain about holiday work than any other classes relatively. The classes of the staffs have higher stress for heavy duty than any other classes. The classes of the directors of bureaus have higher stress in the situation change like presentation than any other classes. There can be many conditions about advertisement creative team members‘stress. I have made dear the internal stress structure according to the classes in the thesis partially. The stress for the classes‘structure can not be solved easily, so it will hare an effect on all members normally if the stress exists for a long time. This study should be continued by reasonable and systematic method. A successful creative's come out from an advertising agency's organizational system, but the organization, after all, is made up of creative's ability and endeavor.

A Study of Advertisement Businessmen's Perceptions of Advertisement Education in College (대학광고교육에 대한 광고실무자 인식연구)

  • In accordance with the rapid growth of advertisement business, the advertisement education in college also has grown in quantity. But compared with this growth in volume, the dissatisfaction with curriculum and alumni's business ability is a problem to be settled in advertisement education. The purpose of this research is to provide creative ideas for the improvement of advertisement education in college that is needed for the advertisement field, by means of a survey for those who are concerned in advertisement education including personnel managers in advertisement companies and senior workers who have worked with new faces. The survey was done for 137 employees who are working for advertisement companies. The result of this research shows that there are differences between the education content provided by advertisement education in colleges and the ability needed for business. This research suggests that the curriculum in college should be operated to create the ability required in advertisement business, and two parties concerned in advertisement education (college and advertisement company) need to continually try to extend the mutual interest and understanding.

  • The purpose of this paper was to develop advertising curriculum demanded in advertising industry in the fourth industrial revolution. A survey was conducted targeting 121 human resources manager in advertising agencies. The results showed that advertising curriculum in Korean university was far behind coping with the fourth industrial revolution and needed to improve for suitable curriculum reform process. The results indicated that proper methods of operation for advertising curriculum were project based learning, practical work based education, convergence education with theory and practical work, and connection with software education. Practical and theoretical suggestions are interpreted in relation to the fourth industrial revolution and advertising education and manpower.

  • This study is focusing to the keyword and blog advertising marketing services that are implementing a viral marketing utilizing keyword searches of the search portal and advertiser's blogs with convergent way. Through a case study for the company operating the service to pinpoint consumers to the advertisers site by indirect exposure via keyword advertising blog at the top of the search results, we analyzed the primitive service operation model on transactional relationship between the business players. We have a research purpose to generate improvement alternatives for the company's keyword advertising marketing services and operation solution using the survey study on the service quality perception and the perceptional gap between user groups. As results of study, we founded 4 types of the service solution and 4 models of service operating architecture on the transactional relations, and we recommended some improvements on the service and solution operation based on the SERVQUAL questionnaire analysis of the difference between the ads sponsor group and ads agency group.

방송광고산업(放送廣告産業) 정부규제(政府規制)의 문제점(問題點)과 개선방안(改善方案)(II)

  • 본(本) 논문(論文)은 졸고(拙稿)(1989)에 이어 정부규제(政府規制)의 폐해가 특히 심각한 방송광고산업(放送廣告産業)에 초점을 두고 한국방송광고공사(韓國放送廣告公社)(KOBACO)라는 규제기구(規制機構)가 중심이 된 각종 규제(規制)의 쟁점(爭點)을 분석한 결과, 대부분의 규제(規制)가 폐지 혹은 완화되어 방송광고(放送廣告)의 시장기능(市場機能)이 활성화(活性化)되어야 함을 주장하고 있다. 조속(早速)한 시일내(時日內)에 규제개선(規制改善)이 필요한 정책과제(政策課題)는 방송광고시간규제(放送廣告時間規制)의 단계적 완화, 토막광고규제(廣告規制)의 단순화, 중간광고(中間廣告)의 허용, CATV 등 신규방송매체(新規放送媒體)의 확충, 규제요금(規制料金)의 단계적 인상, 매체별(媒體別) 시급구분(時級區分)의 자율성 확대를 통한 요금체계(料金體系)의 합리화, "rotation time"제(制) 도입, KOBACO의 수탁수수료(受託手數料) 폐지, 민간대행수수료(民間代行手數料)의 인상, 계열(系列) 비계열(非系列)의 수수료차별화(手數料差別化) 폐지, 복수대행(複數代行)자유화, 한국언론회관(韓國言論會館)의 정부광고독점대행권(政府廣告獨占代行權) 폐지, 방송광고사전심의제(放送廣告事前審議制) 폐지, 매체(媒體)의 대행사(代行社) 소유(所有) 지배(支配) 경영(經營) 차단 등이다. 한편 시청률조사(視聽率調査), ABC 등의 조기정착과 광고산업에 대한 공정거래법(公正去來法)의 적용 등은 시장기능(市場機能)의 전제(前提)가 되는 정책과제로서 제시되었다. 또한 KOBACO 독점대행권(獨占代行權)의 완전폐지, 방송광고요금(放送廣告料金)의 완전자율화, 시간규제(時間規制)의 추가적 완화 등은 이러한 규제개선을 완결시키는 과제로서 제시되었다. 본(本) 논문(論文)은 이러한 정책과제가 효율적으로 추진되려면 경제행정규제완화위원회(經濟行政規制緩和委員會)와 공정거래위원회(公正去來委員會)가 중심기구가 되어야 함을 강조하였다. 규제기능이 사라진 KOBACO의 위상변화는 본(本) 논문(論文)이 고려하지 않았던 지출기능(支出機能)의 평가에 따라 결정될 것이지만, 규제폐지에 관한 한 그 존재의의는 사라진다.
