이중층 Ti전극이 적용된 TCO-less 염료 감응형 태양전지에 관한 연구

  • 염료 감응형 태양전지는 상,하판 투명전극(TCO), 나노입자의 다공질 TiO2, 염료 고분자 층으로 구성된 광전극과 투명전극 및 백금(Pt) 박막으로 구성된 상대전극 그리고 두 전극 사이를 산화 환원용 전해질 용액으로 채우고 있는 구조이다. 이 구조에서 투명전극(TCO)은 재료비의 많은 부분을 차지하므로 제작비용 절감을 위한 TCO-less에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 본 연구에서는 TCO-less 염료 감응형 태양전지 제작을 위해 이중층 Ti 전극 구조를 제안하였다. 제작과정은 광조사 부분을 확보한 유리기판에 e-beam 증착법을 이용해 Ti 전극을 증착시킨 후 TiO2를 Ti전극과 일부 중첩하여 인쇄하고 그 위에 두 번째 Ti전극을 제작한다. 이중층 Ti전극 구조는 SEM, EIS 등의 분석장비를 사용하였고 기존 FTO 구조에 비해 단락전류밀도, 에너지 변환효율은 감소하였으나 직렬 내부저항이 약 27% 감소하여 fill factor가 28% 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

An Optochemical Sensor for the Determination of Divalent Transition Metal Ions Based on a Reactive Dye (반응성 염료를 이용한 2가 전이금속 측정용 광센서)

  • A reactive dye synthesized with an amine containing Eriochrome Black T derivative and cynauric chloride was immobilized on a cellulose membrane to construct an optical sensor for the detection of divalent transition metal ions in aqueous solution. The response of this reactive dye-based optical sensor was as sensitive as that of Eriochrome Black T in solution phase. Its typical detection limits for $Zn^{2+}$ and $Co^{2+}$ were $6.3{\times}10^{-5}mol/l$ and $2.5{\times}10^{-4}mol/l$, respectively. No loss in the sensitivity of reactive dye-based sensor was observed even the pH of flowing solutions continually varied for an extended period of time.

  • 광센서가 내장된 새로운 수소화된 비정질 실리콘(a-Si:H) 터치 디스플레이를 제시하였다. 16 인치 AMLCD의 모델을 구현하여 터치 패널을 성공적으로 작동시켰다. 본 시스템은 입력된 이미지로부터 실시간으로 정보를 추출해야 하는 복잡한 기존의 방식을 사용하지 않으면서 터치 포인트의 위치를 제공한다. 이 시스템의 간단한 구조를 통하여 대면적 터치 패널 디스플레이를 구현할 수 있다.

  • In this paper, optical noise is reduced by a differential detector, which is composed of a beam splitter and two photodiodes whose spectral responses are different each other. In this configuration, the automatic gain control circuit is not required for noise cancellation because the noise intensities at the two photodiodes are kept equal by a beam splitter. The signal to noise ratio in a differential detector with a beam splitter was improved to be 14 ㏈ higher than in a single photodiode with optical filtering.

  • The effects of molecular environments on photoisomerization of an azobenzene group were investigated using In-situ UV/Vis spectroscopy and optical anisotropy measurement technique. The reversible and repeatable photoisomeritation reactions of azobenzene were observed by irradiating the film containing 4-hydroxyazobenzene and by measuring absorption intensities of the characteristic bands of trans and cis isomers simultaneously. When the self-assembled monolayer with azobenzene groups was used as an alignment layer for a liquid crystal cell, the homeotropic alignment was induced due to their compact packing structures of azobenfene groups along the vertical direction of the substrate. By irradiating UV light on this cell, the trans-azobenzene groups change to cis-isomers through the photoisonlerieation and then resulting in the planar alignment of liquid crystal molecules.

  • Sickle cells possess a unique combination of traits that may enable their use as models for novel synthetic tumor targeting controlled release drug carriers with the ability to treat disseminated tumors in advanced metastatic disease. In this study, we assess the ability of light-activated release sickle cells to enhance tumor delivery of the fluorescent dye calcein by delayed photolysis controlled release compared to free systemic administration of calcein. Sickle cells from mouse models of the disease were shown to preferentially accumulate in tumors compared to adjacent tissue, in 4T1 tumors in mice on a time scale about 12 hours. Sickle cells photosensitized with protoporphyrin IX achieved delayed release of 50% of contents 8-16 hours after photoactivation, which was deemed useful for in vivo delivery of cargo to tumors given the tumor accumulation time of the sickle cells. Sickle cells may be useful as a model for new synthetic drug carrier particles with delayed photolysis controlled release properties.

  • Recently, Japan has showed strong demand for protection of consumers against misleading specification provided by producers, establishing the committee for JIS and ISO. To protect domestic market and overcome potential subordinate relationship in overseas market, several universities and institutes in Korea have performed collaborative works on the standardization of test method f3r photocatalytic activity concerning the selected application fields. This article deals with the process and the result for the method of testing photocatalytic sol or suspended powder using optical fiber. Currently, this method is Intended for TiO2, but can be applied for various photocatalytic raw materials that can be activated by visible light and solar irradiation.
