Matched-target Model Inversion for the Position Estimation of Moving Targets (정합-표적모델 역산을 이용한 기동 표적의 위치 추정)

  • A matched-target model inversion method was developed for a passive sonar to estimate the position of moving targets. Based on the well known matched-field processing in underwater acoustics, the method finds target position by matching the measured target directions and frequencies with the corresponding values of the proposed target model. For the efficient and accurate estimations, the parameter searching was accomplished using a hybrid optimizing method, which first starts with a global optimization such as generic algorithm or simulated annealing then applies a local optimization of a simple down hill algorithm. The suggested method was testified using simulations for three different moving scenarios. The simulation results showed that the method is robust in convergence, even under the situation of over 5 times standard deviation of Gaussian distribution of measured error, and is practical in calculation time as well.

Availability Evaluation of Quasi Static RTK Positioning for Construction of High Rise Buildings and Civil Structures (고가(高架)구조물의 정위치 시공을 위한 준스태틱RTK 측위의 적용성 실험)

  • During precise survey on the top of High rise buildings and civil structures, optical surveying equipments like a Total Station are not recommended to use because of some reasons that uneasier alignment with reflectors located at the top of building, increasing error depends on increasement of observation distance and unavailable dynamic positioning etc. Recently various GPS positioning methods have been applied to this job however almost of them are post-processing method which is required much longer time during for whole process includes stake-out, cross checking, fixing positions and final inspections. Therefore, in this study, we applied with RTK surveying system which allows stake-out and inspection in realtime to avoid delaying of construction schedule and also applied with Quasi Static RTK measurement and network adjustment to get a high accuracy within a few millimeters in structure positioning to achieve a successful management for process and quality control of the project. As a result, very high accurate surveying for structures within approx. 2mm in realtime has been achieved when surveyor conduct a network adjustment using least square method for 4 base lines created by Quasi Static RTK data and we expect this method will be applied to construction survey for high rise buildings and civil structures in the future.

Avaliable analysis of precise positioning using the LX-PPS GNSS permanent stations (LX-PPS GNSS 상시관측소의 정밀측위 활용 가능성 분석)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the possibility of utilizing LX-PPS GNSS permanent stations whose antennas are installed on the building rooftop for the purpose of high-precision GNSS positioning services. We picked 15 pairs of adjacent GNSS permanent stations operated by LX-PPS and NGII, and then produced 3-year-long time series using the high-precision data processing software called GIPSY. Patterns and trends of position estimates were compared and analyzed. Horizontal and vertical deviations including the linear velocities coincide with the well-known crustal deformation rates of the Korean peninsula. We also observed almost the same annual or seasonal patterns from those nearby sites. After detrending the linear velocity, the amplitude and phase of annual signals almost perfectly match each other within the baseline length of 2 km. By subtracting seasonal signals, the RMS and standard deviations in LX-PPS PPGR with respect to NGII KANR are about 1, 2, and 5 mm in the north-south, east-west, and vertical directions, respectively. From this analysis it can be concluded that the rooftop-installed LX-PPS sites show similar level of stability and positioning performance comparable to those ground-mounted NGII stations.

  • 제주도는 화산섬의 지질특성상 강수의 지표침투성이 높아 지표수의 개발이용여건이 취약한 관계로 용수의 대부분을 지하수에 의존하고 있다. 따라서 지하수의 보전관리는 매우 중요한 사항이며 특히 지하수의 안정적인 이용을 위해서는 지하수 취수가 주변지역 지하수위에 미치는 영향 분석이 반드시 필요하다. 본 연구는 딥러닝 알고리즘인 Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)를 활용하여 제주도 남동쪽 표선유역 중산간지역에 위치한 2개 지하수위 관측정을 대상으로 지하수 취수영향을 분석하였다. 입력자료로써 인근 2개 강우관측소의 일단위 강수량자료와 인근 6개 취수정의 지하수 취수량자료 및 연구대상 관측정의 지하수위 자료(2001. 2. 11. ~ 2019. 10. 31.)를 사용하였다. 지하수위 변동특성을 최대한 반영하기 위해 LSTM의 예측일수를 1일로 설정하였다. 보정 및 검증 기간을 사용하여 매개변수의 과적합을 방지하였으며, 테스트 기간을 사용하여 LSTM의 예측성능을 평가하였다. 평가지수로써 Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency(NSE)와 평균제곱근오차(RMSE)를 사용하였다. 그리고 지하수 취수가 주변 지하수위 변동에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 취수량을 최대취수량인 2,300 m3/일, 최대취수량의 2/3인 1,533 m3/일 및 0 m3/일로 설정하여 모의하였다. 모의결과, 2개 감시정의 보정, 검증 및 예측기간에 대한 NSE는 최대 0.999, 최소 0.976의 범위를 보였으며, RMSE는 최대 0.494 m, 최소 0.084 m를 보여 LSTM은 우수한 예측성능을 나타내었다. 이것은 LSTM이 지하수위 변동특성을 적절히 학습하였다는 것을 의미하며 따라서 추정된 매개변수를 활용하여 지하수 취수영향을 모의 및 분석하였다. 그 결과, 지하수위 하강량은 최대 0.38 m 였으며 이것은 대상지점에 대한 취수량은 지하수위 하강에 거의 영향을 주지 않는다는 것을 의미한다. 또한 취수량과 지하수위 하강량과의 관계는 한 개 관측정에 대해 선형적인 관계를 보인 반면 나머지 한 개 관측정에 대해서는 비선형적인 관계를 나타내는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 LSTM 알고리즘을 활용하여 제주도 표선유역 중산간지역의 지하수위 변동특성을 분석할 수 있다.

Calculates of GPS Satellite Coordinates Using Rapid and Ultra-Rapid Precise Ephemerides (신속정밀제도력과 초신속정밀궤도력을 이용한 GPS 위성좌표 계산)

  • IGS provides so accute a final precise ephmerides which is offered in the 13rd, and it also offers a rapid precise ephmerides for more prompt application and an ultra-rapid precise ephmerides for real-time application. The purpose of this study is to analyze the accuracy of a rapid precise ephemerides and an ultra-rapid precise ephemerides based on a final precise ephmerides and determine the degree of the Lagrange Interpolation which needs to decide the location of a satellite. As the result of this study, the root mean square error of x,y,z coordinates of a rapid precise ephemerides was $\pm$0.0l6m or so, and the root mean square error of an observed ultra-rapid precise ephemerides was approximately $\pm$0.024m. The root mean square error of an ultra-rapid precise ephemerides predicted for 24 hours was $\pm$0.07m or so and the one of an ultra-rapid precise ephemerides predicted for 6 hours was $\pm$0.04m or so. Therefore, I could figure out that it had higher accuracy than a broadcast ephemerides. Also, in case that the location of a satellite was calculated with the method of the Lagrange Interpolation, it was confirmed that using the 9th order polynomial was efficient.

A new method for determining OBS positions for crustal structure studies, using airgun shots and precise bathymetric data (지각구조 연구에서 에어건 발파와 정밀 수심 자료를 이용한 OBS 위치 결정의 새로운 방법)

  • Ocean-bottom seismometer (OBS) positions are one of the key parameters in an OBS-airgun seismic survey for crustal structure study. To improve the quality of these parameters, we have developed a new method of determining OBS positions, using airgun shot data and bathymetric data in addition to available distance measurements by acoustic transponders. The traveltimes of direct water waves emitted by airgun shots and recorded by OBSs are used as important information for determining OBS locations, in cases where there are few acoustic transponder data (<3 sites). The new method consists of two steps. A global search is performed as the first step, to find nodes of the bathymetric grid that are the closest to explaining the observed direct water-wave traveltimes from airgun shots, and acoustic ranging using a transponder system. The use of precise 2D bathymetric data is most important if the bottom topography near the OBS is extremely rough. The locations of the nodes obtained by the first step are used as initial values for the second step, to avoid falling into local convergence minima. In the second step, a non-linear inverse method is executed. If the OBS internal clock shows large drift, a secondary correction for the OBS internal clock is obtained, as well as the OBS location, as final results by this method. We discuss the error and the influence of each measurement used in the determination of OBS location.

Underwater Telemetering by Ultrasonic Multi-Beam Transducer (Multi-Beam 초음파진동자의 수중원격제어에 관한 연구)

  • This paper described on the availability fo the underwater telemetering by the ulterasonic multi-beam system made as a trial to expand detectable range of the fish school. The ultrasonic multi-beam system consisted of four transducers which reconstructed with the existing net recorder. The experiment for the telemetering carried out in the set net fishing ground. The results obtained are summerized as follows: 1. The detectable distance of a target by the linear arrangement of four transducers increased according to the sea depth and the interval between transducers. 2. When the fish school in the entrance of set net was measured by linear arrangement of transducers it was entered in depth of 2.5~3.5m at near position of leader, and in depth of 3.5~4.5m at near position of door net. 3. The deviations of error between the actual position and the position by transducer in case of the target depth 1m, 1.5m, 2m were 5.9~27.1cm, 3.2~28.9cm, 3.5~25.8cm respectively, and 68.3% probability radius of them were 14.6cm, 17.7cm, 17.0cm respectively. 4. When the fish school in the fish court of set net was measured by plane arrangement of transducer it was entered toward the opposite direction of tide current. 5. The available distance of telemetering by the multi-beam transducer was 1.8km and the telemetering was possible to control everywhere in case of sea depth more than three meters.

CHARACTERISTICS OF TRAO 14M RADIO TELESCOPE (1999) (대덕전파천문대 14m 전파망원경의 특성(1999))

  • The beam size and the antenna efficiency of TRAO 14m radio telescope were measured at 86.2, 98.0 and 115.2 GHz. The beam size was determined by deconvolving the azimuthal scanning data of the Venus. To test the accuracy of our deconvolution method, the beam size at 86.2 GHz was compared with that determined from the mapping data of SiO maser line and we found no difference between them. With above beam sizes, antenna efficiencies were calculated from the continuum measurements of Venus, Jupiter and Moon. The beam efficiencies at these frequencies are appeared to be 0.49, 0.45 and 0.41, respectively. On the other hand, we also suggest that an automatic focus setting can be adopted for TRAO radio telescope based on the gradual change of best focus with elevation.

Generating and evaluating 10 min. flood operation data on Wangsin reservoir at typhoon Hinnamnor (태풍 힌남노에 따른 왕신저수지의 10분 단위 홍수운영자료 생산 및 평가)

  • 태풍 힌남노에 경주에 위치한 총저수량 184만m3, 유역면적 22km2인 왕신저수지는 303m의 제체가 2시간여 동안 전면 월류하는 초유의 사태를 겪었다. 그때 다행히 저수지 수위는 10분 단위로 기록됐다. 이 자료를 이용하여 제체 월류현상을 평가하기 위해 저수지 운영의 기본자료인 유입량, 저수량, 방류량 등을 10분 단위로 생산코자 했다. 방법은 인근에 위치하고 운영자료가 있는 총저수량 260만m3, 유역면적 3.7km2인 감포댐에 대해 유입량 모의방법을 검증하고, 왕신저수지에 그대로 적용하여 유입량을 모의하고, 물수지에 의해 방류량을 계산하는 것으로 했다. 모의결과는 저수량 오차로 신뢰도를 확인했다. 여기서 저수지 유입량은 ONE 모형을 이용하여 10분 단위로 생산했다. 2022년 9월 5일부터 6일까지 10분 단위로 모의한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 감포댐 유역은 강우량은 10분 최대 32.3mm, 총강우량 196.0mm였고, 유입량은 10분 최대 80.1m3/s, 총유입량 59만m3로 모의됐고, 신뢰도는 RMSE 2.120mm, NSE 0.947, R2는 0.949로 매우 높게 나타났다. 그리고 저수량 모의 신뢰도도 RMSE 0.153m, NSE 0.993, R2는 0.997로 높았다. 둘째, 왕신저수지 유역은 강우량은 유역내에 위치한 환경부 관리의 화산리 관측소에서 10분 최대 21.0mm, 총강우량은 10시간 동안 422.0mm였고, 유입량은 10분 최대 716.5m3/s, 총유입량 904만m3로 모의됐고, 유출률은 95.7%로 강우량 거의가 유입되는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 왕신 저수지의 방류량은 10분 최대 610.8m3/s, 총방류량 848만m3로 계산됐고, 총유입량의 93.8%에 상당한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 저수지 물수지에 의해 10분 단위 모의 저수위의 신뢰도는 RMSE 0.117m, NSE 0.994, R2는 0.999로 매우 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 왕신저수지의 제체고 EL.59.20m를 월류한 시간은 9월6일 5시50분부터 8시까지 2시간10분 동안였으며, 관측 저수위는 EL59.24m~EL.60.28m, 모의 저수위는 EL.59.31m~EL.60.29m로 나타났다. 월류되는 동안 총유입량은 544만m3, 총방류량은 527만m3로 나타나, 유입량의 96.8%가 월류되는 것으로 계산돼 저수지의 저류효과는 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이때 유입량은 전기간의 60.2%, 방류량은 62.1%에 상당했다. 다섯째, 힌남노에 따른 왕신저수지의 홍수조절효과는 첨두유입량을 105.7m3/s 저감시켰고, 홍수량을 56만m3을 저류시킨 것으로 분석됐다.

Analysis on the Movement of Bag-Net in Set-Net by Telemetry Techniques (텔레메트리 기법에 의한 정치망 원통의 거동 해석)

  • The authors reconstruct a mooring type underwater positioning system to measure the movement of bag-net in a set-net by long base line mode with four transponders attached on the bag-net in latitudinal and a transponder fixed on the sea bed. To confirm the practical use of the system, the field experiments were carried out at the Jaran Bay, Kosung, Kyungnam Prov., on October 6, 2000 (neap tide) and November 28, 2000 (spring tide). And the vertical oscillation of bag-net was observed with three data loggers attached on the bottom of bag-net in longitudinal on November 28, 2000. The longitudinal movement range, the latitudinal one and the vertical one of the bag-net were 3.2 m, 3.4 m and 2.1 m. respectively. At the spring tide, these variations were 7.8 m, 7.8 m and 5.0 m, respectively. The vertical oscillation range about the bottom of the bag-net at near point of the slope net, at the middle part and at far point from the slope net were 3.2 m, 3.7 m and 8.4 m, respectively. The depth of the bottom net was decreased and its vertical oscillation appeared frequently when the current speed was more than 10 cm/s and the current direction was significantly different from the longitudinal axis of the bag-net. The variation of hydrophone coordinates measured by the transponder fixed on the sea bed presents that hydrophones equipped to the frame line of the set-net could be moved within several meters due to the tidal current. The fact indicates that the compensation of hydrophone coordinates is necessary to reduce the measuring errors. The position measuring errors of x, y and z axis of the system measured in the cage of aquaculture were 0.6 m, 0.8 m, and 1.2 m, respectively. And the errors of the transponders those were close to the base lines or placed in the baselines were smaller than those of others.
