보건관리자의 역할중 하나는 근로자들의 건강유지증진을 위하여 그에 필요한 지식을 주고 습관이나 행동을 개선시켜 나가기 위한 동기를 부여해주는 일이다. 또한 보건관리의 성과는 사업장에서의 건강 상담과 보건지도가 얼마나 바람직하게 이루어지고 있느냐의 여부에 달려 있다고 할 수 있다. 이 자료는 보건관리자의 역할수행에 있어서 건강상담의무의 필요성을 강조하면서 그 방법을 제시하고 있다.

유체(기체, 액체, 분체)를 수송할 경우 유량조정이 필요할 때가 많다. 이와같은 경우 일반적으로 채용되고 있는 제어방법은 댐퍼나 베인에 의한 개개제어이다. 그런데 제어범위가 넓을 경우에는 손실이 증가하며 효율은 대폭 저하한다. 여기에서는 송풍기의 예를 들어 이 이유를 생각하고 이에따라 회전수제어를 채용하면 왜 생에너지가 되는가를 공부하고져 한다.

우리는 흔히 육계 하면 대충 키워서 가격이 적당하면 팔아 이윤을 내면 되는거 아니냐 하면서 참 쉽게만 생각해 왔다. 그러나 이제는 육계산업도 대형화, 집단화, 전업농화 되면서 방역이라는 개념이 들어 왔고, 적절한 사양관리 프로그램이나 방역의 개념 없이는 사육하기가 어려워진 것은 틀림없다. 특히 육종개량이 되어 더욱 증체가 빨라진 것은 사실이며, 사육 요점은 증체 속도에 따른 환경조건을 어떻게 만드느냐이며, 이를 위해서 입추에서 출하까지 매일 24시간 병아리와 환기상태 등의 변화를 관찰하고 이에 적합한 관리를 해야한다. 전염병 부분에서는 다른 축종과 다르게 매우 급속도로 퍼지고 피해도 한 농가당 수천 만원에 이르는 경우도 있어 방역 관리는 어느 축종보다도 중요하다고 하겠다. 즉 사육자는 임의대로 판단하지 말고 "정말로 병아리가 원하는 환경이 무엇인가?"를 사육자는 이해 해야하며 이것이 최대한 근접할 수 있도록 실현한다면 약제에 의존함이 없이 건강하고 만족할 만한 성적을 거둘 수 있을 것이다. 우리는 여기에서는 육계입추의 기본이 소독과 온도, 습도관리를 비롯한 사양관리, 백신 및 그로 인한 스트레스의 극복과 표준 프로그램을 제시하여 육계 병아리의 입추 전후부터 출하까지의 사양관리를 살펴보려 한다.

General branches of science and engineering now enjoy being substantially repleted in their databases. However, comparing the databases of such branches with chemistry or medical science and pharmacology, the strata do not seem to be fully equipped yet. As a matter of fact, the variety of such databases in practical application is still somewhat limited. Moreover, these databases are, with a few exceptions, prepared abroad. In this paper varieties and features of databases now available on the market for each database service system, as well as crucial points for practical use are introduced. At present, it is focussed more or less on the application of bibliographical information. Yet, it would be inevitable to equip them with factual data in order to increase the efficiency of research and development activities. Of course, it is still not easy to solve problems for better profitability and higher technical achievement. The author wishes to emphasize the necessity to fully equip the commercial factual database for said branches as quickly as possible.

설 연휴가 끝나갈 무렵 발생한 숭례문(국보1호) 화재사건으로 온 나라가 발칵 뒤집혔고 모든 국민은 나의 소중한 일부를 잃어버린 공허함에 형용할 수 없이 참담한 심정으로 하루하루를 살아가고 있다. 언제나 그랬던 것처럼 화재원인의 끝자락에는 여지없이 인재로 귀결되고, 보존관리와 소화과정에 대한 논란도 쉽게 정리되지 않을 듯하다. 우리 주변에는 화재발생 요인도 다양하지만 그 대상물 또한 지니는 특징이 매우 다양하여 소화기법이나 조사기법 등에 있어서도 그 만큼 복잡한 형태를 갖는다. 본 코너에서는 화재로 인해 심각하거나 빈번한 피해를 가져다주는 주요 구조 형태에 따른 화재의 특징을 살펴보고 화재 원인의 유형과 조사기법에 대하여도 논의해 보고자 한다. 숭례문 화재 사건은 현재 조사가 진행 중인 만큼 사찰과 함께 특수 건축물의 유형으로 분류하여 추후 논의할 기회를 가져볼 것이다. 화재의 종류에는 소방관점이나 건축법상의 대상물 등 다양하게 표현되고 분류할 수 있다. 본 코너에서는 이러한 틀에서 벗어나 화재의 특징이 달라질 수 있는 구조나 재료, 형태 등을 달리하는 건축물 또는 구조물별로 화재 현상을 나누어 그들에서 발생하는 화재의 특징을 살펴보고, 사고 후 업무와 관련이 되는 담당자의 관점에서 조사의 요점이나 화재 사례 등을 살펴보고자 한다. 접근 방법에 따라 몇 가지로 분류해 보면 다음과 같이 나누어 볼 수 있다.

최근 산업분야에 있어서의 자동화의 니이즈는 다양화되어 그 양상은 극에 달하고 가장 적당한 시스템을 구축하는 기술이 보다 중요시하게 되었다. 특히 분산과 집중을 어떻게 조화시키느냐가 초점이 되어있다. 1975년 IEC에서는 공업용데이터웨이 P-roway의 규격을 제정하도록 결정했다. 이 결정으로 1기업의 공장내$\cdot$동일빌딩내$\cdot$창고등 한정된 지역에 있어서의 생산관리정보 등의 통신용의 네트워크로서 LAN이 실용화하게 되고 1980년 IEEE 802위원회에서 표준화 활동이 개시됨으로서 현재 기술적으로는 거의 대부분의 표준은 완성하기에 이르렀다. 한편 산업분야에 있어서의 FA화는 현저한 진전을 보이고 있으며 보다 효율적인 시스템을 구축하는데 있어서 네트워크$\cdot$시스템은 필수적인 요소가 되고 있다. 여기서는 FA에 있어서 네트워크$\cdot$시스템을 계획$\cdot$구축해 가는데 있어 요점초점이 되는 과제에 대하여 해설 그 사례에 대해서 기술하기로 한다.

General workers who assist various technicians in different fields with their work across the whole construction sites without having a particular skill are at risk of the highest accident rate and their accident form becomes varied. Accordingly, this study was conducted to identify the relationship between form of safety accident and influence factor in general workers and analyze accident severity by influence factor. The followings are the results from this study. First, as a result of analyzing major form of accident and influence factors in general workers with network analysis methodology, nine forms of accident and seventeen influence factors were drawn. Second, it was found that in accident severity among general workers, collapsing, among various forms of accident, appeared the highest, followed by fall, electric shock, fire, hit by an object, bumped against, trip, scission getting cut chopped in order. Third, main points of special, concentrated, and permanent management were presented in order to reduce the safety accident in general workers effectively.

Timely completion and a satisfied owner are the prime objectives of a construction project. The success to achieve these objectives of a project is fully depend on the working approaches (attitude) of a contractor company. Attitude is very difficult to be measured directly; therefore it must be inferred from assumed relationship with observable indicators. Commonly, behavior shown by a person or organization represents its attitude about things or persons or issues. The aim of this paper is to develop a framework for measuring attitude of contractors in an ongoing construction project. In this paper a set of key attitude indicators (KAIs) measured both objectively and subjectively have been developed through a field survey. The validity of the proposed KAIs is also tested by four case studies. The results of the study show that the KAIs stated in the paper can reasonably measure the attitude of contractors and can be helpful for the owners and project managers to control their projects effectively. This study also provides significant insights into developing a general and comprehensive base for further study.

In order to respond to the public needs to utilize the newspapers as high-valued information resources, the number of the commercially available news items which are transformed into a form of database has been remarkably increased by the introduction of CTS into the newspaper companies. As for the domestically available Japanese and foreign newspaper article database, explanations are given to the following items. 1) Characteristics of database, such as date of coverage, frequency updating, time-lag, news sources, search terms, available information, etc. 2) Matters to be noticed at the utilization. 3) Pattern of utilization depending on the object of the investigation, such as the investigation of company, market trend, etc. Since the newspaper article database will be available in a form of digitized information, making the combination with the inter-company LAN system possible, increased opportunities to use it in near future are expected.

Database of journals/books are categorized into bibliographic database and clearinghouse-type databases which tell you locations of original materials. There is such a problem in the latter type of databases that those are not likely to be commercialized, although ultimate purpose which users have is to obtain original materials. We find photocopying service through on-line or full-text databases currently available, but we can't get information which meets our needs only by those databases. This paper describes major database services and how to use them by document type(journal or book). The author also discusses what future information centers utilizing databases should be.
