Investigation into the actual condition of the Cultural Welfare System for the Disabled -Focus on a Museum and Art Museum in Youngwol-gun- (장애인을 위한 문화복지서비스의 실태 분석연구 -영월군의 박물관·미술관을 중심으로-)

  • This study examined the actual condition of the cultural welfare system for the disabled. The survey was completed by 21 public and private museums at a cultural welfare center in Gangwon-do, Yongwol-gun, specialized for museums only between 1 June and 31 July 2014. The study scale questions were analyzed by field surveys in cultural welfare centers and interviewing the museum directors. The results were as follows. First, there were cultural welfare service effects on the controlling culture, art and leisure activities for the disabled. Second, cultural enjoyment improved the quality of life and life satisfaction of the disabled. This study provides a database to improve policy regarding environmental construction, various program developments, visiting performance system development, and supplement and financial support for the disabled audience as a member of society.

  • Recently, the government as part of the creation of science for science education policies promoting the activation of the Science Museum. However the lack of infrastructure, budget and human resources are a reality that a lot of difficulties. In past, A field trip of Science Museum was a place of curiosity of youth. However, modern Science Museum has to competition with the online games and theme park in order to achieve the two goals of scientific experience and education, which it needs change display device is required. Looking at the cases of advanced foreign Science Museum is not merely a head of science education experience as a cultural space, provide relaxation and entertainment, and life science area in addition to a variety of genres such as art and fashion exhibits are planning to combine. In this study, the current uniform description panel of exhibition device described in the written text replaced with the digilog book with the age and grade of the visitors by providing a tailored service for scientific knowledge and intellectual curiosity induced measures can claim the satisfaction of visitors is proposed.

Effect of theater service quality on performance satisfaction : focusing on customer experience value mediation effect (공연장 서비스 품질이 공연 만족도에 미치는 영향 : 고객 경험가치 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of service quality of a theater on the customer experience value and performance satisfaction and to test causality between variables. For this purpose, Study model was created from the previous studies and performed a survey with the customer who visited Performance Theater. In this study, employee kindness, facility excellence, convenience, and facilities were set as independent variables, and performance satisfaction was selected as a dependent variable. The cultural value and economic value of customer experience were examined as Moderating variables between two variables. Based on the results of this study, It was found that employee's kindness, facility excellence, and convenience have a significant effect on performance satisfaction in performing arts facilities. convenience, there was perfect mediated effect of customer experience between service quality of a theater and performance satisfaction centered on cultural value and economic value. The employee's kindness variable was examined as a perfect mediation of cultural value, and economic value as a sectoral mediation. The excellence variables of the facilities appeared as partial mediations in cultural values and as complete mediations in economic values. In the case of the auxiliary facilities, the significance test failed. According to the results of the research, it was confirmed that convenience service for customers is the most important variable. This result suggests that the service quality of a theater should be basically maintained in terms of the kindness of the facility and staff, and that the customer is more satisfied with the performance than the audience convenience service provided from the Theater. The venue suggests that customer service and reception, purchase of tickets, refund method, and staff training should be thoroughly done so that audiences can make the Theater.

The Effect of YouTube BJ Attributes on Information Usefulness, Information Search Satisfaction and Behavioral Intention -Focused on e-Sports Content (유튜브 BJ 속성이 정보의 유용성, 정보탐색만족도 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향 -e-스포츠콘텐츠 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how the attributes of YouTube BJs, specifically those dealing in e-sports content, affects information usefulness, information search satisfaction, and behavioral intention. To achieve this purpose, data from 229 students collected by convenient sampling of college students were used for final analysis, and analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs. The results of the study are as follows: First, the friendliness of the BJ had a significant positive (+) effect on the information usefulness, the information search satisfaction, and the behavioral intention. Second, it was found that the reliability of the BJ did not significantly affect the information usefulness, the information search satisfaction, and the behavioral intention. Third, the information usefulness had no significant effect on behavioral intention, but Information search satisfaction was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on behavioral intention. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to contribute to establishing a strategy for e-sports content production based on the attributes of BJs.

Perception and Satisfaction among Zoological Park Visitors (동물원 방문객의 인식 및 만족도 영향요인 연구)

  • Zoological parks are considered to be a recreational place for family outings and most importantly the starting place of contact with animals in the modem society. Due to environmental threats and the loss of wildlife habitats, the zoos have significant roles to play in education, research and conservation in addition to the traditional role-entertainment, but research on zoos and their visitors is very limited in Korea. The present study surveyed that the zoo visitors' perceptions of the role of zoos, satisfaction, and behaviors in 6 public zoos, during which 730 zoo visitors were interviewed. The results indicated that the zoos represent an opportunity for family-based trips, enjoyment with family or friends and education that are the primary motives for visiting the zoos. The findings demonstrate that respondents considered the four main roles of zoos namely conservation, education, entertainment, and research to be important and recognize its value for conservation and environmental education. The determinants of satisfaction of zoo visitors were ease of visibility, welfare of captive animals, and the availability of information. Most respondents believed that naturalistic exhibits and animal welfare were very important. In order to reinforce the roles of the zoo in modem society, multidisciplinary efforts are needed to improve the animal welfare, replicate native habitats, and develop various education programs.

A Study on the Factors Affecting the Attitude and Behavioral Intention toward the Instagrammable Exhibition: A case study on <Yumi's Cell Special Exhibition>

  • The purpose of this study is to shed light on the relationship between perceived value(PV), attitude toward the exhibition(ATYCSE), and behavioral intention toward the exhibition(BITYCSE) through literature review and quantitative research, focusing on <Yumi's Cells Special Exhibition (2020)> as an Instagrammable exhibition. The exhibition has strong entertainment experience quality, and taking pictures has a positive correlation with the satisfaction as well as the immersion, while sharing the viewing experience on Instagram does not influence on the ATYCSE in terms of the PV. Satisfaction also has meaningful correlations with the immersion and the detail factors of BITYCSE. In particular, it can be confirmed that the storytelling factor occupied a superiority over the exhibit factors or the exhibition environment of the Instagram-friendly exhibition, and through this, the importance of storytelling was confirmed. This research unveils implications for the influence of the interactivity and participatory features of the Instagrammable exhibition on the ATYCSE as a potential factor of PV, and the importance of storytelling in Instagrammable exhibitions.

An Investigation of the Framework for User Experience in Museum Mobile Applications (박물관 모바일 애플리케이션의 사용자 경험 프레임워크에 대한 연구)

  • The design of a museum mobile application's user experience demands an in-depth comprehension of the user experience dimensions and the unique attributes of the user experience elements that users may encounter. This paper through a series of experimental studies and analyses of experiences related to the use of museum mobile applications, derives a user experience framework consisting of four dimensions and 19 elements, which has been verified for feasibility. The study shows that all four dimensions have a positive impact on user satisfaction, but the degree of impact varies. Among them, emotionality of use and ease of use have the greatest impact, while usefulness of use and multiformity of function have relatively less impact. In addition, the user experience of museum mobile application can also positively influence the user's future intention to recommend, continue using, and even the actual visit to the museum.

  • In this study, a unit of regional tourism as a cluster of innovative strategies that can be an assumption that the activation of tourism clusters building on local festivals and participated to review the empirical aims. A study on behavioral patterns and satisfaction of visitors depending on the characteristic of exhibition in science museum (과학관 전시체험관에 대한 관람자 행동유형 및 만족도에 대한 연구)

  • This study has been analyzed various exhibition in Ulsan Museum of Science which was opened in March 2011 and found out the connections between elementary school science and its curriculum. In addition, this study has pointed out how visitors' behavioral patterns change depending on the characteristics of exhibition. The Study has also examined the visitors' satisfaction on the educational effectiveness, facilities and environment of the museum and aimed to seek ways to revitalize and improve the general conditions of exhibition rooms which is essential for Ulsan Museum of Science. The results of analysis on the form exhibition showed that 31.7% were in a passive form and the other 68.2% were in active form which was 43 out of 63 exhibition. After analyzing the visitors behavioral patterns, the majority of exhibition with higher attraction power and holding power were active-type exhibition and especially the experience-type exhibition takes the large portion. Based on the survey, we found out that both students and teachers represent high expectations of pleasure through active experience. They showed high satisfaction rates on the number of exhibition, guide facilities, inside temperature and accessibility of Ulsan Museum of Science.

An Analysis of Operating Characteristics and Management Satisfaction of Forest Museums in Korea (우리나라 산림박물관의 운영특성 및 관리 만족도 분석)

  • The present study grasped the operation characteristics and operation management of forest museums in Korea and analyzed satisfaction with the foregoing. In the results of a survey of forest museums' operation characteristics, with regard to groups to which exhibits were helpful, over half of respondents answered that the exhibits were helpful to students and many respondents had an opinion that all age groups should be equally considered as targets of exhibition. Among matters that were considered with regards to forest museums, accessibility showed the highest rate of answers followed by museum programs. The curator was needed for the majority of respondents were exhibits prior to the survey had the highest expectations for the medium. With regard to the operation management of forest museums, the expected value of periodic and extraordinary exhibitions was shown to be high and high and satisfaction was shown by the professionalism of staff. As for matters of forest museums that must be improved, attention should be paid to the development of programs in which users can participate, diverse exhibition media should be developed, and exhibition should be planned to fit the composition of exhibits. As for operation management, since exhibits were repeated every year, environments should be changed by exhibiting new exhibits or otherwise and active methods of improvement should be devised such as the utilization of broadcasting media for public relations.
