A Study on the Management System of Show Cave for Sustainable Tourism (지속가능한 관광을 위한 동굴관광자원의 관리체계에 대한 연구)

  • Caves have the values of learning sites and tourism resources. But show caves are at risk of being ravaged, destroyed, and Polluted. The Purpose of this study is to analyse the management condition and the problems of the show caves, and to suggest the alternative improvement for the cave management. The research of the Cultual Properties Administration revealed many Problems including the management system, safety diagnosis, the demand for comprehensive academic research and so on. An analyzing of the questionnaire about cave manager demanded to reform working conditions, tourist education, an amendment of the Cultural Properties Protection Act, expert education for cave manager. In conclusion, It is necessary that construct the mutual cooperation system of an administrative organization, cave manager and tourist, and the Cave Management information System to manage database of cave environment.

Analysis on Information Use of Smartphone in the context of Tourists (관광객 대상 스마트폰 사용의 정보이용 분석)

  • Previous research on smartphone has been focused on personal performance, accessibility, and information gaps in information system quality. In order to analyze the relationship between the use of smartphone information and personal characteristics, this study conducted a survey of 300 tourists at Jeju Airport, by using three variables of self-efficacy, 'impulsiveness and demographic variables (age, sex, education level, etc.) of smartphone use with personal characteristics. In conclusion, self-efficacy and impulsiveness seem to be positively related to the use of smartphone because it seems to be a living environment in which the desired information can be acquired within a desired time. In addition, there seems to be a difference between a mobile native environment in which online and offline boundaries are always connected and an environment in which 40 to 50 digital literacies are connected. This can be interpreted as a result of additional analysis.

  • 본 연구는 근거리 무선통신 장치의 하나의 비콘의 신호를 이용하여 침수위험지역에 접근하게 될 시 알림 서비스를 제공하는 어플리케이션을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 어플리케이션의 기능은 크게 침수위험지역으로 연결되는 경로로 진입하는 경우 일정 거리 이상으로 접근하게 되면 휴대용 단말기에 알림창을 띄우는 기능과 침수대피시설에 가까워지는 경우 알림창을 제공하는 기능으로 구성되어 있다. 침수 상황에서 발생되는 인명피해의 유형을 살펴보면 침수지역의 거주민이 침수를 경험하는 경우도 있지만, 방문객과 같은 불특정인도 침수로 인한 피해를 경험한다. 특히, 관광객, 방문객과 같이 해당지역에 거주하지 않는 사람의 경우 침수예상지역에 대한 지식이 전혀 없을뿐더러 대피시설과 피난경로에 대한 인지가 상대적으로 지극히 부족하다. 또한 침수재해의 경우 위험을 인지하지 못하고 침수위험지역에 잘못 진입하게 되면 침수의 진행에 따라 피난이 불가능해 지는 상황이 발생한다는 특징이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제안하는 간단한 어플리케이션으로 침수지역의 위험에 대한 인지, 대피시설에 대한 1차원적인 정보제공이 가능하다면 인명피해를 저감할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Liaohe National Park based on big data visualization Visitor Perception Study

  • National parks are one of the important types of protected area management systems established by IUCN and a management model for implementing effective conservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural heritage in countries around the world, and they assume important roles in conservation, scientific research, education, recreation and driving community development. In the context of big data, this study takes China's Liaohe National Park, a typical representative of global coastal wetlands, as a case study, and using Python technology to collect tourists' travelogues and reviews from major OTA websites in China as a source. The text spans from 2015 to 2022 and contains 2998 reviews with 166,588 words in total. The results show that wildlife resources, natural landscape, wetland ecology and the fishing and hunting culture of northern China are fully reflected in the perceptions of visitors to Liaohe National Park; visitors have strong positive feelings toward Liaohe National Park, but there is still much room for improvement in supporting services and facilities, public education and visitor experience and participation.

Design of Deep Learning-based Tourism Recommendation System Based on Perceived Value and Behavior in Intelligent Cloud Environment (지능형 클라우드 환경에서 지각된 가치 및 행동의도를 적용한 딥러닝 기반의 관광추천시스템 설계)

  • This paper proposes a tourism recommendation system in intelligent cloud environment using information of tourist behavior applied with perceived value. This proposed system applied tourist information and empirical analysis information that reflected the perceptual value of tourists in their behavior to the tourism recommendation system using wide and deep learning technology. This proposal system was applied to the tourism recommendation system by collecting and analyzing various tourist information that can be collected and analyzing the values that tourists were usually aware of and the intentions of people's behavior. It provides empirical information by analyzing and mapping the association of tourism information, perceived value and behavior to tourism platforms in various fields that have been used. In addition, the tourism recommendation system using wide and deep learning technology, which can achieve both memorization and generalization in one model by learning linear model components and neural only components together, and the method of pipeline operation was presented. As a result of applying wide and deep learning model, the recommendation system presented in this paper showed that the app subscription rate on the visiting page of the tourism-related app store increased by 3.9% compared to the control group, and the other 1% group applied a model using only the same variables and only the deep side of the neural network structure, resulting in a 1% increase in subscription rate compared to the model using only the deep side. In addition, by measuring the area (AUC) below the receiver operating characteristic curve for the dataset, offline AUC was also derived that the wide-and-deep learning model was somewhat higher, but more influential in online traffic.

  • Goryeong, the center of Daegaya's historic culture, has pushed tourism development utilizing Daegaya's historic cultural resource. The tourist's cognition level of Goryeong is very low and the tourists of Goryeong have been decreased compared with them of Gyeongbuk. However, Goryeong has a variety of cultural tourism resources and geographical proximity with Daegu, and the potential of it attracts the tourism market. This research examines the tourism demands and supplies of Goryeong and then recommend the improvemental aspect of tourism po1icy and the developmental aspect of tourism resource in Goryeong. Goryeong needs the tourism po1icy to cotstruct the system which supplies the useful tourism information to tourism organizations and firms and to create the sustainable tourism product innovation. The tourism development should be pushed in two ways: the revitalization of the developed tourism resources and the creation of tourism product.

  • As the number of foreign tourists increases worldwide, it provides tourism services with various information and convenience. Most foreign tourists have difficulty using existing methods that require internet connection because internet communication is restrictive. In this paper, we propose a mobile device based digital signage via WPAN that can support multi-lingual for foreign tourists. the proposed method shows a menu by combining a template of mobile client with fundamental contents from digital signage through WPAN. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method, it is compared with a conventional webpage method. The results of the evaluation confirm that the latency decreases compared to the conventional webpage method due to the improved loading time.

  • 최근 관광산업은 AI, 빅데이터, IoT, 증강현실 등 4 차 산업혁명 관련 기술이 활용을 활용하여 관광산업 활성화를 도모하고 있다. 모바일 애플리케이션을 통한 개인 맞춤형 서비스가 다수 개발되고 있으나, 낙후된 지역사회 관광지에는 아직까지 테마로드 같은 콘텐츠 개발이 미비한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 QR 코드, 블루투스, 비콘 등의 기술을 기반으로 사용자가 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 위치 기반 서비스 알고리즘을 개발하고자 하며 이를 통해 침체된 구도시의 관광객 유치와 관람객들이 재미있게 활용할 수 있는 테마로드 콘텐츠를 제공하고자 한다.

The Effects of Self-Congruity and Functional Congruity on e-WOM: The Moderating Role of Self-Construal in Tourism (중국 관광객의 온라인 구전에 대한 자아일치성과 기능일치성의 효과: 자기해석의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Purpose Self-congruity deals with the effect of symbolic value-expressive attributes on consumer decision and behavior, which is the theoretical foundation of the "non-utilitarian destination positioning". Functional congruity refers to utilitarian evaluation of a product or service by consumers. In addition, recent years, social network services, especially mobile social network services have created many opportunities for e-WOM communication that enables consumers to share personal consumption related information anywhere at any time. Moreover, self-construal is a hot and popular topic that has been discussed in the field of modem psychology as well as in marketing area. This study aims to examine the moderating effect of self-construal on the relationship between self-congruity, functional congruity and tourists' positive electronic word of mouth (e-WOM). Design/methodology/approach In order to verify the hypotheses, we developed a questionnaire with 32 survey items. We measured all the items on a five-point Likert-type scale. We used Sojump.com to collect questionnaire and gathered 218 responses from whom have visited Korea before. After a pilot test, we analyzed the main survey data by using SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 18.0, and employed structural equation modeling to test the hypotheses. We first estimated the measurement model for its overall fit, reliability and validity through a confirmatory factor analysis and used common method bias test to make sure that whether measures are affected by common-method variance. Then we tested the hypotheses through the structural model and used regression analysis to measure moderating effect of self-construal. Findings The results reveal that the effect of self-congruity on tourists' positive e-WOM is stronger for tourists with an independent self-construal compared with those with interdependent self-construal. Moreover, it shows that the effect of functional congruity on tourists' positive e-WOM becomes salient when tourists' self-construal is primed to be interdependent rather than independent. We expect that the results of this study can provide important implications for academic and practical perspective.
