Research on Assessment of Impact of Big Data Attributes to Disaster Response Decision-Making Process (빅데이터 속성이 재난대응 의사결정에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This research is to assess the relationship Big Data attributes and disaster response process. The hypothesis are designed to form decision making between situation awareness and disaster response by defining major attribute of Big Data(Volume, Variety, Velocity, Complexity). It is proved whether there is a moderating effect in cause-and-effect relationship by visualizing Big Data. To test the hypotheses, it was conducted a questionnaire survey of civil servants in charge of disaster-related government employees, and collected 320 data(without 12 undependable responses). The research findings are suggested the attributes of accumulation, expandability, flexibility, real-time, analytical, combination of Big Data have a strong effect on disaster manager's situation awareness.

  • Connecting with cost, schedule, and quality in a construction project, resource management is one of the essential management elements. However, the material requirement planning is built at the beginning stage of construction and needs various concerned factors, it is limited to build the resource management planning on enterprise level. The disconnected communication among managements makes impossible to control historical data. In the construction project control system, the core of management elements is to manage cost and schedule information, therefore material requirement planning should be established based on historical data about EVM which is intergating schedule and cost. In this study, a resource management system concerning material requirement planning and attribute of procurement is suggested by connecting the historical data of EVM and the material requirement planning.

Developing Price Response Functions for Internet Content Services (인터넷 콘텐츠 서비스에 있어서 가격반응함수의 추정에 관한 연구)

  • Content services on the Internet is getting attention as a new business model, selling digital content in real-time on the web. However, most of these content-based business is based on advertisement model rather than direct-payment-based business model. One of the difficulty in setting up charge-based content service is that the pricing paradigm of digital content is different from traditional pricing of products or services. The objective of this study is to empirically derive the feasible price response functions for these content services. Based on conjoint analysis of popular attributes of digital content, several price response function models were fitted against the conjoint data, using online movie viewers' preferences for different attributes of the service. Fitted function models were linear, multiplicative, exponential, attraction, and Gutenberg models. attraction model was found to be well-fit with the data for several specific combinations of attributes. Implications for pricing strategy is discussed at the end.

  • Logistics service is one of the most frequently addressed competitive edges exercised by container terminals that face fierce competition. Many of researches have tried to assess the logistics service quality and attempted to propose the strategic ways to manage it. However, it has been known that quality is a multi-dimensional construct and not all quality attributes are viewed as equally important to customers. Each quality attribute has different implications for customer satisfaction. Timko (1993) has developed customer satisfaction (CS) coefficient based on Kano model. The CS coefficient is indicative of how strongly a service quality may influence customer satisfaction. This study attempted to identify the satisfying/dissatisfying quality factors using Kano model and CS coefficient. In so doing, several satisfying and dissatisfying quality attributes in logistics service quality were identified.

  • In this study, we investigated whether the model attributes of CSR ads (value addition, attractiveness, expertise, trustworthiness) affect the attitude of the company. We also examined the mediating role of message authenticity in the model attributes and corporate attitudes of CSR advertisements. The results of the study are as follows. First, the value addition, attractiveness, and reliability of the CSR advertising model have a positive effect on the message authenticity of the CSR advertisement. Second, the attractiveness and expertise of the CSR advertising model have a positive effect on the attitude of the company. Third, the effects of the CSR advertising model on the value addition, attractiveness, and reliability are completely mediated by the message authenticity of the CSR advertisement. The results of this study suggest that it is effective to select the models with value addition, attractiveness, and expert image when producing CSR advertisements.

  • This study aims to verify the causal relationship between service quality of the urban railway operating agency and users' behaviors, targeting the urban railway users. The perceived ease of use of the urban railway service quality had an influence on tangibility and convenience, and the perceived usefulness was significant to all attributes; therefore, it is judged that reliability, correspondence and safety should be improved to increase the users' perceived ease of use of the urban railway service quality. Based on these study results, the urban railway operating agency should make an effort to increase the perceived ease of use and usefulness of the urban railway to improve the service quality, to positively change the users' attitudes toward use, and to make the positive change connected to the intention of reuse and intention of recommendation, the users' behavior intentions.

  • 시각과 관련된 정서 연구 중에서 색에 대한 연구나 움직임에 대한 연구는 많이 이루어져 왔으나 정적인 형태 자체에서 감성을 불러일으킬 수 있는가에 대한 연구는 많이 이루어지지 않았다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 2차원적인 형태 중, 모든 형태의 기본이 되는 3가지 기본적인 도형(삼각형, 사각형, 원)을 중심으로 도형의 물리적 속성에 따른 감성 차이가 있는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 도형의 물리적 속성은 물체 인식과 시각 디자인에서 중요시되는 요소인 방향성, 정형성, 비례, 예리함을 중심으로 감성이 어떻게 달라지는지를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 방향성, 정형성, 비례, 예리함에 따라 도형에 따른 감성의 차이가 모두 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 도형간의 차이는 쾌 불쾌 차원에서는 원으로 갈수록 쾌함을 확인했고 각성 차원에서는 삼각형으로 갈수록 각성이 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. 방향성은 수평, 수직보다 기울어진 형태에서 쾌하고 각성이 낮음을 알 수 있었다. 비례는 너비와 높이의 비가 1:1 일 때 각성이 가장 낮고 쾌한 정도가 상대적으로 가장 높음을 알 수 있었고 비정형 도형일수록 불쾌하고 각성이 높음을 알 수 있었다. 아울러 도형과, 방향성 비례 그리고 정형성간의 상호작용 측면도 살펴보았고 어떤 요소가 더 영향을 미칠 수 있는지도 살펴보았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 도형이 어떤 속성이 이러한 감성을 불러일으키는 요인인지를 알아보기 위한 추가실험도 실시하였다. 그 결과 도형의 속성 중 모서리의 예리함이 감성차이를 불러일으킬 수 있는 요인이 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었고 선 형태와의 상호 작용 시 예리함이 감성에 더 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인임을 추론할 수 있었다. 이러한 도형이 주는 감성 연구는 도형의 감성적인 평가 과정이 인지와 정서간의 관계를 설명해 줄 수 있는 내용이 될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 아울러 기본이 되는 도형의 형태로부터 감성의 차이가 있음을 확인함으로써 제품의 물리적 디자인에 대한 가이드라인을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이라 예상된다. 특히 각성 상태가 인지적 수행에 중요한 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 사실로부터 학습도구에서의 도형의 효과적인 사용을 제안하고자 한다.

Real-World Physical Length Comparison in Virtual Environments (가상환경에서의 실세계 물리적 길이 비교)

  • In this paper, we describe a method of defining an object's real length in order to compare objects' lengths precisely using all real length units in the real world. The browser in our study represents an object's length by referencing to the physical length property defined at modeling when it displays the object. Since objects' lengths are appropriately scaled according to these units, objects can be precisely and visually compared in sire using real world length units. The concept of defining the real length unit is extended to the X3D specification. The units are ranged from $10^{-24}(yotta)\;to\;10^{24}(yocto)$. In addition, we explain the method for processing LOD (Levels Of Detail) and for applying the property of LOLD (Levels of Length Detail) when objects with different LOLD are read into the browser.

  • This study surveyed purchase behavior of users who purchased goods within the last year to analyze the relationship of search intention to purchase behavior according to SNS channel attributes. Based on these findings, it is analyzed that the information provision and interrelationships in SNS channel attributes affect search intent. In order to enhance the purchase behavior through the users of NS Channel, reliability and information availability are also cited as major issues, but more importantly, SNS channel search index is more important. It is also important to increase search indexes by simply increasing the attributes of SNS channels by improving the reliability of information and information availability, and by enhancing information delivery performance and interaction.

  • The rapid development of information communication technology(ICT) is born opportunities of business venturing and many items of start-up. On the smart media era, there are a lot of location based services. Thus we researched to find which factors impact location based constructs on smartphone environment in this study. We have conducted a preference analysis of the influencing factors for location based constructs for our study. In first steps, based constructs that were already known by empirical studies were categorized information, entertainment, safe&emergency, navigation&tracking and advertising&commerce. In second steps, the preference relationship among the categorized constructs were analyzed using AHP(analytic hierarchy process) technique. Participants of this study were 106 students H university in Daejeon-city during 2014. 10. 11 to 2014. 10. 25. The result of the analysis might be summarized that the chatting(0.170) has the highest preference among the above constructs. Based on these findings, several theoretical and practical implications were suggested and discussed.
