진해만 바위해안 조간대에 서식하는 뿔소라과 2종, 대수리(Thais clavigera)와 뿔두드럭고둥(T. luteostoma), 에서 수컷의 성징이 암컷에게서 발현되는 임포섹스 현상을 조사하였다. 임포섹스는 전 조사정점에서 100% 나타나고 있었으므로 본 조사에서 수컷의 성징을 보이지 않은 암컷은 발견할 수 없었다. 임포섹스의 강도를 나타내는 상대 성기 길이 지수(relative penislength index: RPL)는 34.7%에서 81.1%의 범위에 있었다. 특히 마산만 안쪽의 조사정점에서는 암컷의 구성비가 크게 감소하고 어린 개체를 거의 발견할 수 없는 등 개체군이 임포섹스의 영향을 받고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 두 종의 체내에 함유된 트리부틸주석(TBT)과 트리페닐주석(TPT)의 농도를 분석한 결과 각각 0.18-1.45 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g, 0.42-6.30 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g의 범위에 있었으며, 임포섹스의 정도는 트리부틸주석과 트리페닐주석의 체내 농도와 밀접한 관계를 보였다. s 대수리와 뿔두드럭고등의 임포섹스는 우리 나라에서 유기주석 화합물의 오염을 나타내는 좋은 지표로 사용될 수 있으며, TBT의 사용 규제이후 그 효과를 감시하기 위한 용도로도 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

Functional thinking, which focuses on the relationship between two or more varying quantities, is one of the key strands of algebraic thinking. This article is a case study that aimed to investigate how 3rd grade elementary students might make their functional thinking. The results showed that students not only understood the functional situation well but also created a record of the corresponding values of quantities, typically using descriptive writings and pictures. But when they tried to find a pattern and make a generalization, the students showed various difficulties. This paper concludes with implications on how to promote students' functional thinking from early grades in the elementary school.

In this paper, HF band LPDA(Log-periodic Dipole Antenna) and MLPDA(Modified Log-periodic Dipole Antenna) above lossy grounds were analyzed using moment method by considering the practical media parameter of lossy grounds, not assuming free space or perfect ground approximation. The radiation pattern and gain of LPDA and MLPDA as functions of frequency, antenna height from ground, and antenna tilt angle are presented, and the lossy ground effect on antennas characteristics are described. MLPDA was found to exhibit a smaller variation for gain and radiation pattern and a higher maximum beam direction relative to LPDA. It was shown that media parameter of lossy grounds and antenna height have a direct influence on the antenna gain of both LPDA and MLPDA.

Given the importance of algebra in the early grades, this paper analyzed the contents of whole numbers and their operations from the perspectives of generalized arithmetic. In particular, the focus of analysis was given to the properties of 0 and 1, those of operations such as commutativity, associativity, and distributivity, and the relations between operations. As such, this paper analyzed in detail how such properties and relations were introduced and expanded across different grades. It is expected that many issues in this paper will serve basic information to develop instructional materials in a way to fostering students' algebraic thinking in the elementary grades.

he rolling contact behaviors between a smooth ball and a flat rough surface under dynamic load are intricately affected by many factors, such as the diameter of a ball, normal load and the roughness of a flat surface etc. Accordingly, the experimental study is done to find them on the base of elastic hysteresis loss as theoretical approach is very difficult. The experimental apparatus composed of damped-free vibration system is used. This paper investigates the damping characteristics on the rolling contact area through rolling friction force and logarithmic decrement versus displacement obtained in accordance with the variations of those factors, and presents a new experimental method to find out contact width using the relations of logarithmic decrement and rolling friction force with displacement.

In this study, we applied the Bayesian Networks for the case of the trip generation models using the Seoul metropolitan area's house trip survey Data. The household income was used for the independent variable for the explanation of household size and the number of cars in a household, and the relationships between the trip generation and the households' social characteristics were identified by the Bayesian Networks. Furthermore, trip generation's characteristics such as the household income, household size and the number of cars in a household were also used for explanatory variables and the trip generation model was developed. It was found that the Bayesian Networks were useful tool to overcome the problems which were in the traditional trip generation models. In particular the various transport policies could be evaluated in the very short time by the established relationships. It is expected that the Bayesian Networks will be utilized as the important tools for the analysis of trip patterns.

실용적인 퍼지 데이타베이스 시스템을 구축하는데 장애 요인중의 하나는 근접관계와 같은 의미 데이타를 습득하는 것이다. 근접관계란 어떤 도메인에서 데이타들간의 근사 혹은 유사한 정도를 정량적으로 표현한 것이다.퍼지 데이타베이스 시스템은 부정확한 질의를 처리할때 이런 근접관계를 이용한다. 지금까지 근접도를 측정하는 체계적인 방법은 별로 알려진 것이 없고 대부분은 근접관계는 미리 주어진다는 가정하에 퍼지 데이타베이스를 연구하여 왔다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지 질의 처리에 필요한 근접관계 생성 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 퍼지 잡합의 퍼지척도 측정 이론에 기반을 두었기 때문에 간단하고 체계적이며, 각 데이타에 특정값만 부여함으로써 해당 도메인내의 데이타들과의 근접도를 자동적으로 구할 수 있다. 특히 조정 변수를 이용하여 도메인내의 근접도 간격을 조절할 수 있어 실제 응용분야에 맞게 조절할 수가 있다.퍼지 질의 처리를 위한 근접도 생성방법이 별로 발표되어 있지 않은 현 상황에서 본 논문에서 제시한 방법은 실용적인 퍼지 데이타베이스를 구현할때에 필요한 근접관계 관리 모듈에 사용될 수 있다.
