In these days it can be said that knowledge based society has been passed through and creative society is approaching, and the important keywords to the coming creative society should be the knowledge, the creativity, and the convergence. In order to make preemptive responses to this 21 century's new creative society, cultivation of gifted students with integrated prototype is also an imperative reason to prepare. With this historical background Korean Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology announced "a general plan on invigoration of elementary and middle school level art education for cultivation of creativeness and humanity" containing the acting curriculums of science and art integrated on June 2010, and also announced "the second general plan for support on development of science and technology professionals" including STEAM education for elementary and middle school level at January 2011. In this paper we developed a strategy appliable to establish an education institution for gifted students specialized on promoting the students to the convergence type gifted students. For the purpose, we derived the necessity for convergence education for the gifted and the implication points through analysis on the examples, and developed a strategy to establish an education institution for gifted students.

Will lead the future of life in society, children needs robot education for adaptation to the futhure high-tech robot age. For children to learn about robots needs an active interest, the necessity of learning, creative learning using information technology in information-based society In ministry of education, science and technology education in the necessity of a infant's smart robot education to promote education and training child care for infants national scientific and mathematical problem - solving skills and creative problem solving to increase rearing children in desperate need of robots is the development of educational content. Baby robot training content design and creativity of the teaching model effective problem solving and creativity measuring plan review, implementation strategies and creative problem solving is a comparison. The goal of this paper enjoys science and technology with curriculum-based children's fusion science and technology human resources is to lay the groundwork for.
This study investigated the relationships among 'integrative creativity', 'creativity in scientific humor', and 'perceptions of educational benefits for making scientific humor' of elementary students. To do this, five graders (n=42) at an elementary school and five graders (n=38) at a gifted science education institutes in Seoul were selected. Tests for 'integrative creativity', 'creativity in scientific humor', and 'perceptions of educational benefits for making scientific humor' were then administered. Analysis of the results revealed that the scores for some subcategories of 'creativity in scientific humor' were positively correlated with those for 'integrative creativity', especially for 'creative motivation (e.g., curiosity and playfulness)' and 'creative potency (e.g., knowledge, imagination, sensitivity, flexibility, and fluency)' more than 'creative attitude'. The subcategories of 'integrated creativity' that were significantly related to 'creativity in scientific humor' were somewhat different according to the subcategories of 'creativity in scientific humor'. The scores for all subcategories of 'perception of educational benefits for making scientific humor' were not significantly correlated with those for almost all subcategories of 'integrative creativity' and 'creativity in scientific humor'. Educational implications of these findings are discussed.

The purpose of this study is to search for the factors that influence students' understanding of the nature of science through the experience of the cognitive processes of authentic open inquiries. The freshmen of a science high school practiced authentic open inquiries reflecting epistemological characteristics of authentic science. The case study was conducted with four focus students who were successful or unsuccessful at learning the nature of science during the authentic open inquiry activity. Questions that the focus students asked during the inquiries as well as students' answers to pre- and post-VNOS (C type) were analysed, and then elaborated in the semi-structured interview. The findings suggest that open inquiry activities provide the inquiry contexts that help science high school students to understand the nature of science, and that the characteristics of students' cognition influence the understanding of the nature of science. For instance, designing experiments with their own research questions had an influence on the students' understanding about the scientific methods and the diversity of research types, and drawing conclusions from their own data made students experience scientific reasoning. In addition, the experience of collecting anomalous data helped students to understand the role of inferences in generating scientific knowledge and the creative nature of scientific knowledge. In this inquiry context, the reflective thinking that came from proactive discussion among students, made students think about the validity of the designing experiments and interpreting data, and helped them to understand the uncertain nature of reasoning and the diverse nature of scientific methods. Moreover, divergent thinking linked to analogical thinking helped students to understand the creative nature of science.
The purpose of this study was to develop teaching materials using Pyramid model of divergent thinking, Inverse pyramid model of convergent thinking and Diamond model of divergent-convergent thinking. And the teaching materials was implemented to 120 students in middle school over 10 weeks. Results indicated that the experimental group presented statistically meaningful improvement in creative thinking skills, especially in fluency and flexibility(p<.05). Also the teaching materials contributed to improve critical thinking skills, especially in inquiry process of recognizing problems, making conclusion and generalization(p<.05). Moreover, academic achievement was improved(p<.05). But, there was no significant improvement in creative personality(p<.05).

Design is a realm one should have brought out creativity. So designers have continuously struggled for creating something new. In respects of that the essence of design work is making novel and creative things, and in design process' creative idea generation' to reach a final design solution is one of important capability that designers must have. In this study two different substantial methods for creative idea generation are suggested. One is existing' analogical association', an essential form widely used in association process, another is 'shape elements reconstruction' similarly operated 'shape grammar'. Therefore in this study for finding methods to reinforce designers' creative idea generation both of paper-based and computer-based design method are suggested substantially. In Both there is a common feature that existing or quiet new elements are organizationally associated or reconstructed in idea generation procedure.
