The Performance of Grant-type Government R&D Project: Focusing on SME's R&D (자유공모형 국가연구개발 과제의 특성 및 효과성 분석 : 중소기업 R&D를 중심으로)

  • As the strategy to support SMEs' innovation has shifted to induce market-oriented innovation, the Korean government increasingly invests in grant-type R&D projects proposed by SME firms. This study reveals the characteristics of grant-type R&D projects proposed by SME firms through a transition of national R&D strategy and demand-pull innovation perspectives. This study also examines the differences between grant-type R&D projects proposed by firms and R&D projects led by the government through logit-analysis and propensity score matching methods. As a result, we found that a national R&D project for SMEs yields better innovation performance when the project is proposed by a company than led by the government.

Developing a task-based English lesson plan to enhance teaching ability (과제중심 영어 학습지도안 모형 개발)

  • This study was performed to develop a task-based English lesson plan. The study reviewed the background theories needed to accomplish the study purpose; types of learning, current trends in English teaching, and the task-based teaching. A frame for the task-based English lesson was developed as the result of this study. An actual task-based lesson plan was made after the frame for the task-based English lesson. The author presented task-based English lesson plans at English education conferences, and applied them to pre-teacher training and in-service trainings for English teachers. It is concluded that the task-based English lesson plan was very effective in enhancing English communicative competence and that the pre-teachers and teachers were satisfied with the lesson plans. It is hoped that more teaching material will be developed based on this task-based English lesson plan.

제10차 정책토론회 동북아 물류중심 실현을 위한 선결과제 및 제도적 지원방안

  • 동북아물류 중심 실현을 위해서는 종합물류기업 육성과 중국을 중심으로 하는 물류정책이 필요하다. (사)한국물류협회(회장 서병륜)와 한국로지스틱스학회, 매일경제신문, 물류신문사가 공동으로 주최하고 대신정보통신(주), (주)진양로지스틱스, 로지스올 그룹이 후원한 제10차 물류정책토론회에서 이와 같은 주장이 제기됐다. 지난 3월 23일 전국경제인연합회 회관 대회의실에서 200여명이 참석한 가운데 개최된 토론회에서 서병륜 (사)한국물류협회 회장은 개회사를 통해 ''정부는 중국경제의 역동적 성장으로 인한 위기를 우리의 국부창출을 위한 기회로 전환하고자 동북아 물류중심 로드맵을 발표하고 국가물류체계 개선대책을 내놓는 등 물류산업의 발전을 위해 다각적인 노력을 해오고 있다''며 ''이는 정부뿐만 아니라 물류관계자 모두의 노력 위에서 실현될 것이므로 우리도 이를 위해 매진해야 한다 ''고 말했다. 진형인 한국로지스틱스학회 회장은 인사말을 통해 ''동북아 물류중심화 실현을 위해서는 여러 가지 해야할 과제가 많다''며 ''이와 같은 과제해결을 위한 토론회와 많은 연구가 필요하다''고 말했다. 이번 토론회에서는 ‘동북아 물류중심 실현을 위한 선결과제 및 제도적 지원방안’이라는 주제로 제1테마 ‘중국의 물류 환경 변화와 동북아 물류중심화 전략의 보완방안’, 제2테마 ‘국제경쟁력을 가진 종합물류기업의 효율적 육성방안’으로 나뉘어 해양수산개발원원 임종관 박사와 SJ-GLS의 이병욱 박사가 각각 주제발표를 진행했다.

Implementation and Verification of Dynamic Search Ranking Model for Information Search Tasks: The Evaluation of Users' Relevance Judgement Model (정보 검색 과제별 동적 검색 랭킹 모델 구현 및 검증: 사용자 중심 적합성 판단 모형 평가를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this research was to implement and verify an information retrieval(IR) system based on users' relevance criteria for information search tasks. For this purpose, we implemented an IR system with a dynamic ranking model using users' relevance criteria varying with the types of information search task and evaluated this system through user experiment. 45 participants performed three information search tasks on both IR systems with a static and a dynamic ranking model. Three Information search tasks are fact finding search task, problem solving search task and decision making search task. Participants evaluated top five search results on 7 likert scales of relevance. We observed that the IR system with a dynamic ranking model provided more relevant search results compared to the system with a static ranking model. This research has significance in designing IR system for information search tasks, in testing the validity of user-oriented relevance judgement model by implementing an IR system for actual information search tasks and in relating user research to the improvement of an IR system.

Development of Debugging Tasks and Tool for Process-centered Assessment on Software Education (소프트웨어 교육에서 과정중심 평가를 위한 디버깅 과제 및 도구 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a debugging task to support process-centered assessment on software(SW) education and to develop a service site. Achievement criteria for programming in elementary and middle school SW curriculum consists of control structures such as repetition and condition, and elements such as variables and input/output. In order to apply the process-centered assessment presented by the Ministry of Education, it is necessary to present tasks that can be used in the actual classroom environment and to consider connection with achievement levels. Therefore, in this study, 12 tasks for elementary school and 15 tasks for middle school were developed as debugging tasks and their validity was verified. As a result of conducting Delphi verification for validity, it was found that the level and content of the debugging task are appropriate. In addition, as a result of verifying the usability of the debugging challenge site by applying a heuristic evaluation method, it was found that it is suitable for use in the real educational field.

Research on the Student Activities in the Clothing & Textiles Section of 'Technology & Home Economics' in Middle School Textbooks[I] (중학교 기술.가정 교과서 의생활 영역의 활동과제에 관한 연구[제1보])

  • Various types of students activities presented in the clothing part of the current 'Technology Home Economics' middle school textbooks were analyzed to provide basic idea for improving the quality of content of text, which can arouse students' interest and practical use. Analysis was conducted for the units related to clothing contained in 10 different technology & home economics textbooks of 2nd grade middle school students approved by the Ministry of Education under the 7th national curriculum. Types of student activities were categorized based on "size of groups", "type of problems" and "methods of carrying out tasks" and the this study sought to explore future directions for action plans especially in terms of composition of contents, the methods of performance and suggestions. As a result, the volume of each part in clothing & textiles section was investigated. Among them 'dressing' part was found to make up the largest percentage of the clothing unit. And among the six of the detailed contents, "How to Wear Traditional Korean Clothes" and "Functions of Clothes", took up the largest space. In additions, the types of students activities and methods of implementing and how to performing tasks vary depending on publishing companies and detailed contents of areas. As a result, 'individual activities', 'structured problem', and 'problems that require prior home-based experience' were most common types of activities. Based on this study, it is suggested to increase the number of small group activities and the activities that require diverse problem-solving methods.

The effect of task appropriate processing of on-going task on event-based prospective memory (동시과제의 처리 적절성이 미래계획기억 수행에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was designed to examine the influence of task appropriate processing on prospective memory(PM). The TAP was manipulated with list type within study phase and association category type among PM target words. Associated word lists used for ongoing task were consisted of semantically associated lists and orthographically associated lists. Target words for PM task were consisted of city names or words for ending with the letter of '도'. According to the TAP view, PM performance would be better in the condition of task appropriate processing rather than in the condition of task inappropriate processing. Total fifty students volunteered for two experiments for the present study. The main finding was that PM performance was influenced by the task appropriate processing with ongoing task. In other words, PM performance was facilitated when association type between ongoing list and PM target word was same. Second, ongoing task performance was also influenced by task appropriated processing. These results were discussed in task appropriated processing theory and previous studies.

  • 각급 학교의 학내망이 웹을 이용할 수 있도록 구축됨에 따라 가상학습을 이용해 웹을 기반으로 한 학습자 중심의 과제물 관리 시스템을 구현할 수 있게 되었다. 기존의 과목별 과제 제시와 과제물 제출 및 평가가 웹 상에서 이루어짐으로써 일련의 과정이 온라인으로 처리되게 되었다. 과제물 관리를 위해 웹 서버 및 홈페이지를 구축하고, 학습자들의 과제 제출을 웹 페이지에 직접 입력할수 있도록 하였고 또한 CGI 언어나 웹과 데이터베이스와의 연동과 같은 웹 상의 페이지저작의 능력이 없어도 교사가 웹을 통해 과제물을 제시하고 이를 평가하여 점수를 입력하면 웹을 통해 조회가 가능하도록 설계 구현하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 현 연구개발 과제의 선정과 관리 체제하에서 발생할 수 있는 역선택과 도덕적 해이의 문제점을 방지하지 위한 연구개발 과제 선정·관리 체제의 효율화 방안을 고찰해 보고자 하였다. 선정과정에서는 효율화를 위한 이론적 논의와 함께 정부주도의 연구개발 사업의 선정과정의 변천을 살펴보았다. 관리과정에서는 프로젝트 수행자의 도덕적 해이를 방지하기 위한 방편으로 엄격한 성과 중심의 관리체제 도입에 중점을 두었으며, 이와 관련한 우리 나라의 현행 성과 관리체제 및 성과측정 방법에 관한 이론적 접근과 성과측정 모형 등의 성과 중심의 관리에 대한 고찰을 하였다.
