This paper proposes a 'secure node' to be robust against network-based DoS attacks. The secure node selectively accepts new sessions based on the Zipf's law while a link is in the overload state. Our scheme calculates a threshold value for overload state, and provides a dynamic service mechanism for enhancing availability of a web server. The simulation results show performance improvement of the proposed scheme in terms of completion/connection ratios.

PC users could experience some inconvenience when they use their PC that was physically connected to network printers shared by other People in the network due to the overload. This paper shows how to resolve this kind of overload problem and established the embedded printer system based on embedded Linux system which performs the printer server in order for any users in the of ice to do printing work more smoothly via current network. It's own capabilities and functions were verified throughout the various tests in practical environment.

Recently, with the growth of software for electro-thermal analysis, it has been studied the precise analysis and investigation of cause for the electrical fire using computer simulation on the basis of theory for electro-thermal analysis. But it is very lacking for the precise analysis and investigation of cause for the electrical fire. In this paper, we have simulated the thermal analysis for electrical wire according to the value of current in a overload and a short with the electrical wire of the L's company product(600 V VVF) using the electro-thermal finite element method(Flux2D).

웹 클러스터 시스템은 여러 대의 서버로 부하를 분산시키는 시스템이다. 부하 분산 알고리즘으로 가중치를 부여하고 연결 수가 가장 적은 리얼 서버를 선출하는 방식인 가중치 기반 최소-연결(WLC: Weighted Least-Connection) 스케줄링 알고리즘을 가장 많이 사용하고 있다. 이 알고리즘은 동시 사용자 수가 많은 웹 클러스터 시스템에 새로운 리얼 서버가 추가될 경우 새로운 서버에게 웹 요청을 집중적으로 할당하여 해당 서버에 과부하를 발생시키는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 리얼 서버에게 발생하는 과부하를 줄이기 위해, 웹 요청이 새로운 리얼 서버에게 연속적으로 할당되면 해당 서버를 스케줄링에서 잠시 제외되도록 하는 개선된 WLC 스케줄링 알고리즘을 제안한다.

기존 푸시 기술의 제품들이 가지는 상호 운용성을 해결하기 위한 CORBA 기반의 푸시 에이전트 모델(CPAM: CORBA-based Push Agen Model)은 사용자 요구에 적합한 정보만을 수집한 후 이를 사용자에게 전송하여주는 에이전트 프레임웍(Framework)이다. 이러한 푸시 에이전트는 푸시 에이전트 서버가 제공하는 정보의 양과 종류, 그리고 이를 이용하는 동시 사용자 수가 증가함에 다라 서버 시스템의 과부하 및 네트워크 트래픽의 증가가 초래된다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 푸시 에이전트 모델에 캐싱 기법을 적용함으로써 자주 요청되어지는 동일한 데이터에 대한 서버 시스템의 과부하를 감소시키도록 한다. 또한 클라이언트 푸시 에이전트의 상태 정보와 주제 분류에 따른 검색 키워드를 포함하고 있는 사용자 프로파일을 통해 효율적인 캐쉬 메모리 접근을 제공하도록 한다.

무선 네트워크에서 토폴로지의 빈번한 변화로 노드 간 링크 단절과 경로재설정이 발생하여 네트워크 내에 제어메시지 과부하와 같은 문제점들이 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 링크 단절과 제어 메시지 과부하와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 무선 네트워크 환경에서 주변 노드 탐색과정, 경로 탐색과정, 경로관리과정의 3단계를 수행할 때 안정적인 전력, 높은 컴퓨팅 능력과 무선 신호 조절 능력이 있는 존 마스터(Zone Master)를 기반으로 하는 링크안정성 기법을 제안하였다. 제안한 기법은 다양한 무선 환경에서 기존의 OLSR라우팅 프로토콜보다 우수한 성능을 보임을 확인하였다.

변류기는 자가용 수전설비에서는 계측과 보호계전기를 동작시키기 위해 필요한 것이다. 변류기 중 CT라고 하는 것은 회로의 전류를 검출하여 전류계, 전력계, 역률계 등에 접속되는 외에 과전류계전기를 동작시켜 과부하나 단락사고시에 회로를 차단하여 고압기기를 보호한다. 또한 ZCT (영상변류기)는 지락전류는 검출하여 지락계전기를 동작시키는 역할을 한다. 여기서는 이와 같이 중요한 역할을 하는 변류기의 고장사례이다.
