Enhancement of Electromagnetic Properties of (NiCuZn)-Ferrites by Using Ultra-fine Powders Synthesis (나노분말합성에 의한 (NiCuZn)-Ferrites의 전자기적 특성 향상)

  • 본 연구에서는 공침법에 의한 초미세분말을 이용하여 제조된 (NiCuZn)-ferrite와 건식법을 이용하여 제조된 (NiCuZn)-ferrite의 저온소결 특성 및 전자기적 특성을 상호 비교 분석하였다. 조성은 (N $i_{0.4-x}$C $u_{x}$Z $n_{0.6}$)$_{1+w}$(F $e_2$ $O_4$/)$_{1-w}$에서 x의 값을 0.2, w의 값은 0.03으로 고정하였고, 소결은 공침법으로 합성된 분말의 경우 초기열처리과정을 거쳐 최종적으로 90$0^{\circ}C$에서, 건식법의 경우 11$50^{\circ}C$의 온도에서 진행하였다. 그 결과, 공침법으로 제조된 (NiCuZn)-ferrite는 건식법으로 제조된 (NiCuZn)-ferrite보다 20$0^{\circ}C$이상 낮은 소결온도에서 높은 소결밀도 값을 가졌으며, 품질계수 등 칩 인덕터에서 중요한 요소인 전자기적 특성이 우수하게 나타났다. 또한, 공침법으로 합성된 페라이트는 분말의 초기열처리온도에 따라 최종소결 특성이 크게 변하였다. 그밖에 공침법과 건식법으로 합성한 (NiCuZn)-ferrite의 결정성, 미세구조들을 XRD, SEM, TEM을 이용하여 비교 고찰하였다.하였다.다.

Continuous Coprecipitantion Preconcentration-Hydride Generation for Arsenic in Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometry (연속적 공침 선농축-수소화물 발생법을 이용한 ICP-AES에서의 비소의 감도 개선)

  • In a stream of aqueous sample, trace arsenic ions were quantitatively coprecipitated and detected in ICP-AES through hydride generation. In was used as a coprecipitating reagent. The precipitate was collected on a filter and dissolved by HCl. The eluted As was sent into the reaction coil to generate hydrides and analyzed by ICP. With optimal conditions, and with a sample of 0.3 mL, an enrichment of 70 was obtained with the sampling speed of 10/hr. When compared with coprecipitation and hydride generation technique, the sensitivity was increased by 7 and 10 times, respectively. The limit of detection limit$(3{\sigma})$ was 0.020 ${\mu}g\;L^{-1}$ and the precision was 7-10%. Separation of $As^{3+}\;and\;As^{5+}$ were possible using citric acid in hydride generation.

$CO_2$Decomposition Properties of Ternary Ferrites Synthesized by the Wet Processing (습식 합성법으로 제조한 3원계 페라이트의 $CO_2$분해 특성 연구)

  • 산소 결핍 페라이트 (oxygen deficient ferrites, ODF) MF $e_2$ $O_{4-}$$\delta$/는 약 30$0^{\circ}C$의 낮은 온도에서 온실가스중 하나인 $CO_2$를 C와 $O_2$로 분해시킨다. 본 연구에서는 $CO_2$분해 촉매로서 3원계 초미세 페라이트 N $i_{x}$Z $n_{1-x}$F $e_2$ $O_4$와 N $i_{x}$ $Co_{1-x}$F $e_2$ $O_4$를 수열합성법과 공침법 등의 습식 합성법으로 각각 합성하여 이들 분말의 특성과 $CO_2$분해 특성을 고찰하였다. 페라이트의 XRD 결과, 결정구조는 모두 전형적인 스피넬 구조로 동일하게 나타났다. BET 비표면적은 수열합성법으로 제조한 3원계 페라이트의 경우 110$m^2$/g 이상으로 공침법으로 제조한 페라이트보다 비교적 큰 값을 나타냈고 분말 입자크기 또한 약 10nm의 매우 미세한 분말을 얻을 수 있었다. 3원계 산소 결핍 페라이트의 $CO_2$분해 효율은 공침법으로 합성한 것보다 수열합성법으로 합성한 것이 더 우수하게 나타났으며, N $i_{x}$ $Co_{1-x}$F $e_2$ $O_{4-}$$\delta$/보다 N $i_{x}$Z $n_{1-x}$F $e_2$ $O_{4-}$$\delta$/가 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

Hydrogenation of Methyl Dodecanoate Using Copper Chromite (분산액에서의 Copper Chromite 합성 및 Methyl Dodecanoate의 수소화반응)

  • The hydrogenation reaction of methyl dodecanoate for the synthesis of 1-dodecanol has been carried out in the presence of a copper chromite catalyst. The catalysts were synthesized by ceramic method, co-precipitation, and improved co-precipitation method and the particles were characterized by SEM and XRD. Also, the products of the reaction were assigned by GC, GC/MSD and NMR. The particles synthesized by each method showed (1) a spherical shape with the size of 3.2 to $7.0{\mu}m$, (2) an agglomerated spherical shape with the size of 50 to 500 nm and (3) a spherical shape with smaller particle size, respectively. Especially, in order to control the size of particles, the particles were synthesized in various dispersant solutions as Span 80, polyacrylate, and polyethyleneglycols (PEGs). The particles synthesized in PEG (Mw = 4000) solution showed the smallest particle size of 30 to 50 nm and the regularity of the particle size distribution. Our experimental results elucidated that the activity of catalyst for hydrogenation increases with decreasing the size of catalyst particle. The highest yield of dodecanol in the hydrogenation reaction was 95.5% when copper chromite synthesized in the PEG solution was used as a catalyst in the optimized reaction condition.

Effects of pH Control Agent and Co-Precipitate Washing Agent on Nickel Ferrite Preparation by Co-Precipitation Method (공침법에 의한 Nickel Ferrite의 분말제조에서 pH-조절제 및 공침물-세척제의 영향)

  • Nickel ferrite $(Ni_{0.75}Fe_{2.25}O_4$ was synthesized by co-precipitation method in order to investigate its behavior under conditions of the reactor coolant system in pressurized light water nuclear power plants. Ammonia or potassium carbonate was used as a solution pH control agent, and aqueous ammonia or potassium carbonate solution or secondary distilled water was used as a co-precipitate washing agent. The effects of the pH control agent and the co-precipitate washing agent on the production yield on the basis of the Ni/Fe molar ratio and the particle characteristics of final products were investigated by XRD, SEM, EDX and XPS. The production yield was almost congruent with that of the initial aqueous mixture in case of using potassium carbonate as a pH control agent, while in case of using ammonia, it was quite changed. The difference seemed to be due to the effects of $Ni^{2+}{\leftarrow}NH_3$complexation in the aqueous solution and of the pH of co-precipitate washing agent.

A Study on Frequency and the Physical Properties of Ni-Cu-Zn Ferrites with the Variation of Ni Addition and Temperature Prepared by Co-Precipitation Method (공침법으로 제조한 Ni-Cu-Zn Ferrite의 Ni 첨가량과 온도에 따른 주파수 및 물리적 특성 연구)

  • Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites were prepared by the co-precipitation and ferrite microwave absorbers on low temperature sintering were investigated in this work. The properties of its microwave absorbing and physical were analyzed into variations of Ni addition, calcination temperature, sintering temperature. From the analysis of X-ray diffraction patterns, we can see that all the particles have only a single phase spinel structure. In addition, the powders particle size distribution obtained the nano size. By increasing the Ni additive, the permeability of the powders was decreased and the loss factor increased at sintering temperature $1100^{\circ}C$. Also, we considered that it can used high frequency rage. We found that the $(Ni_{0.7}Cu_{0.2}Zn_{0.1}O)_{1.02}(Fe_{2}O_3)_{0.98}$ appeared microwave absorbing properties better than other composition.

  • 층상이중수화물(Layered Double Hydroxides, LDH)은 층 사이에 무기물 음이온이 있는 2차원 충상구조물로서 이들 층 사이의 공간에 이동 가능한 수화된 음이온의 존재로 전하균형을 이룬다. 층 사이의 음이온은 교환이 가능하며, 나머지의 공간은 물분자로 채워져 있다. 이러한 특성을 응용하여 LDH는 촉매, 음이온 교환제, 흡착제, 담체로 사용가능하며, 특히 음이온 교환능이 있는 소재로 고분자에 적용되고 있으며, 층간에 염료를 삽입한 복합체의 제조 둥에 관한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이의 적용에서 LDH의 입도는 결정적인 한계 요인으로 작용하기도 한다. 본 실험에서는 Mg-Al-NO$_3$ 층상이중수산화물(Mg-Al-NO$_3$-LDH)을 공침전법으로 합성하고, 양이온의 농도와 공침시 pH 및 교반조건의 변화가 생성된 LDH의 결정상, 형상, 입도, 및 양이온교환능에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 특히 초음파 분산법을 적용하는 경우 생성되는 LDH 입자크기의 미세화에 효과적인 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.

Synthesis of $Ni_2Y$ magnetic particles by coprecipitation method (공침법에 의한 $Ni_2Y$ 자성 분말의 합성)

  • Ferroxplana N $i_{2}$Y(B $a_{2}$N $i_{2}$F $e_{12}$ $O_{22}$ ) magnetic particles, which is one of the hexagonal ferrite were synthesized by a coprecipitation method. The coprecipitates were prepared by adding aqueous solution of BaC $I_{2}$ - 2 $H_{2}$O, NiC $I_{2}$ - 6 $H_{2}$O and FeC $I_{3}$ - 6 $H_{2}$O(of which the mole ratio is $Ba^{+2}$ : N $i^{+2}$ : F $e^{3+}$= 1 : 1 : 6) to a mixture of NaOH and N $a_{2}$C $O_{3}$. The shape of Ferroxplana N $i_{2}$Y magnetic particles obtained at 1, 100(.deg. C) was hexagonal plate-like, average particle size and aspect ratio were 2(.mu.m) and 7, respectively.y.
