Numerical Simulation on Control of Tsunami by Resonator (II) (for Samcheok port) (공진장치에 의한 지진해일파의 제어에 관한 수치시뮬레이션(II) (삼척항에 대해))

  • In the previous research, the effectiveness of resonator was confirmed through the numerical analysis on two cases with the use of existing resonator at the Mukho and Imwon ports located in the eastern coast of South Korea by discussing the reduction rates of 1983 Central East Sea tsunami, and 1993 Hokkaido Southwest off tsunami, respectively. In this study, the reduction rates of tsunami height with three different resonators, Type I, II-1, and II-2, at the Samcheok port were examined respectively through the numerical analysis using COMCOT model under the same condition as the previous study. It was discussed the spatial distribution of maximum height of tsunami, change of water level, and effectiveness of resonator with the presence of new types of resonator, and change of their sizes. As a result, the effectiveness of resonator was verified through the application of new types of resonator reducing about maximum 40% of tsunami height. In order to design the optimal resonator for the variety of site condition, it is necessary to research about the various cases applying different shape, arrangement, and size of resonator as further study.

  • After the resonator on the basis of the wave-filter theory was designed to control the waves with a specific frequency range surging into the harbor, the several case with the use of resonator have been reported in some part of sea, including the port of Long Beach, USA, and yacht harbor at Rome, Italy in order to control the long-period wave motion from the vessels. Recently, the utility and applicability of the resonator has been sufficiently verified in respect of the control of tsunami approximated as the solitary wave and/or the super long-period waves. However, the case with the application of tsunami in the real sea have not been reported yet. In this research, the respective case with the use of existing resonator at the port of Mukho and Imwon located in the eastern coast of South Korea were studied by using the numerical analysis through the COMCOT model adapting the reduction rate of 1983 Central East Sea tsunami and 1993 Hokkaido Southwest off tsunami. Consequently, the effectiveness of resonator against tsunami in the real sea was confirmed through the reduction rate of maximum 40~50% at the port of Mukho, and maximum 21% at the port of Imwom, respectively. In addition, it was concluded that it is necessary to study about the various case with application of different shape, arrangement, and size of resonator in order to design the optimal resonator considering the site condition.

A Study on the Control of Short-period Waves by Resonator (공진장치에 의한 단주기파랑의 제어에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the control performance of resonator was reviewed through numerical analysis and 3-dimensional hydraulic model experiments by attaching the resonator suggested in the existing studies to the openings of rectangular harbor and breakwater placed in a straight line to reduce short-period waves. In the numerical analysis, linear analysis method of singularity distribution method based on vertical-line Green function and full non-linear analysis method by 3D-NIT model were applied, and the validity of the numerical analysis methods was verified through comparative analysis between results of hydraulic experiments and numerical analysis results. In addition, effectiveness of the resonator was confirmed by reviewing its control performance on the short-period waves through review on the comparison with the case in which the resonator is not attached.

  • 본 논문에서는 고전압 프로브 시험용 100kV, 1kW의 DC 전원장치 설계에 관하여 소개한다. 설계되는 DC 전원장치는 연속 도전모드로 동작하는 LCC 공진형 컨버터 토폴로지가 적용되며, 적용된 LCC 공진형 컨버터는 고전압 전원장치에 필연적으로 발생하는 Arc로 부터의 보호동작이 우수한 전류원 성질을 가지면서 스위칭 손실을 줄일 수 있고, 정격 부하 조건에서 고효율을 달성할 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 또한 고전압 다이오드 스텍의 기생 커패시턴스를 병렬 공진 커패시턴스로 이용함에 따라 추가적인 고전압 커패시터의 사용 없이 LCC 공진을 구성할 수 있는 특징을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 LCC 공진형 컨버터 토폴로지를 고전압 전원장치에 적용하였을 때 장점을 설명하고, 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여 설계된 컨버터의 타당성과 우수성을 설명한다.

Research of Synthetic Resonance Characteristics for Electrohydraulic Thrust Vector Control Actuation System (전기-유압식 추력벡터제어 구동장치시스템의 합성공진 특성 연구)

  • In this paper, the analysis results of synthetic resonance characteristics are described for the electrohydraulic thrust vector control actuation system. The synthetic resonance is induced by integration of position servo actuation system on the flexible launch vehicle mounting structure. The new resonance mode is synthesized due to composition of hydraulic resonance for electrohydraulic position servo system with inertia load condition and structural resonance for flexible mounting structure. This synthetic resonance can make stability of control system worse by feedback and amplification of control system. The exact nonlinear analysis model of this phenomenon is developed to predict and design a control algorithm for improvement characteristics. The DPF (Dynamic Pressure Feedback) control algorithm has been designed and has excellent resonance suppression capability.

  • In this study, 3-dimensional hydraulic model experiment and 3-dimensional numerical analysis were carried out to review the control performance on the solitary waves by attaching the resonator suggested in this study to the openings of the existing rectangular harbors and breakwaters placed in a straight line. In the numerical analysis, TWOPM-3D of 3-D one-field Model for immiscible TWO-Phase flows method using 3-dimensional numerical wave tank was applied, and the validity of the numerical analysis method was verified through comparative analysis between hydraulic experimental results and numerical analysis results. In addition, the effectiveness of the resonator was identified as a result of review on the control performance to control solitary waves of the resonance devices through comparison with cases where the resonators are attached or not.

  • 철도차량 하부에 부착되는 전장품 무게는 차량의 바퀴 및 베어링 등 철도차량 수명에 큰 영향을 주기 때문에 경량화는 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 철도 차량용 보조전원장치의 경량화를 위해 LLC 공진형 컨버터를 적용한 보조전원장치 시스템과 제어알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 고속스위칭을 위해 입력단 벅 컨버터를 이용하여 가선 전압을 감압시키고 이후 LLC 공진형 컨버터를 통해 인버터 입력단 전압을 제어한다. 또한, 공진형 컨버터 손실을 최소화하기 위해 ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching) 동작을 하며, 공진 탱크의 최적 설계도 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 알고리즘은 시뮬레이션 및 실험으로 검증한다.

Effectiveness of a Wave Resonator under Short-period Waves and Solitary Waves (공진장치를 이용한 단주기파랑과 고립파의 제어)

  • The performance evaluation of a conventional Wave Resonator at the entrance of harbors against solitary wave has been performed using 3D numerical wave flume. A wave resonator has been designed for the attenuation of the transmitted wave energy by trapping the short periodic incident waves only. In this study, however, the controlled performance of the wave resonator by its various widths has been numerically investigated for solitary waves. Source distribution method based on the Green function and the 3D one-field Model for immiscible TWO-Phase flows (TWOPM-3D) using 3D numerical wave flume were used for the short-periodic waves and the solitary waves, respectively, and these models were verified through the comparisons with the previous experimental and numerical results by other researchers. It was confirmed that the wave resonator is effective enough to control the solitary waves as well as the periodic waves when it compares with the case of no resonance system. Further, it was found that there is the optimal width of a wave resonator to attenuate the target solitary waves.

전력구 내 지중선을 이용한 2W급 상용주파수 무선전력 수신장치 개발

  • 본 논문은 전력구 내 지중선에서 발생하는 상용주파수(60 Hz) 자기장을 이용한 2 W급 무선전력 수신장치를 제안한다. 제안하는 수신장치는 자성체와 구리도선을 포함하는 수신 코일, 장치의 개폐를 위한 손잡이, 직렬공진회로 및 정류기를 포함하는 부가회로로 구성된다. 수신장치는 3상 지중선 중 하나에 설치되어 전력구 내 조명 및 온습도 센서를 구동하는데 사용 가능하다. 수신장치의 자성체로는 높은 기계적 강도 및 포화 자속밀도를 가지는 규소강판 박편이 사용되었으며, 직렬공진회로를 사용하여 최대전력을 수신하였다. 수신장치의 공진회로는 3 이하의 낮은 공진계수를 가지기에 50 Hz 및 60 Hz 지중선에 범용으로 사용이 가능하다. 사용된 규소강판 및 구리선의 무게와 가격의 곱을 성능지수(Figure of Merit)로 선정하여 이를 최소화하는 설계를 수행하였다. 제작된 시작품의 무게는 약 750 g중으로 2.2 W LED부하 구동이 가능하며, 이때 지중선의 전류는 $100A_{rms}$로 가정하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 펄스전원장치에 고전압을 공급하기 위한 DC 전원장치의 개발에 관해 다룬다. 제작된 DC 전원장치는 공진형 컨버터에 배전압 정류기를 채택하여 높은 전압이득과 전력 밀도를 가진다. 특히, 정류다이오드의 전압 균등화를 위해 사용하는 커패시터를 병렬공진 커패시터로 활용함으로써, 사용되는 소자의 수를 최소화하며 높은 신뢰성을 얻을 수 있다. 또한, 두개의 공진주파수로 인해 공진전류가 사각파 형태가 되어 낮은 도통손실을 가진다. 제안된 회로를 이론적으로 분석하고, 그 타당성을 실험으로 검증한다.
