Occupant's Thermal Comfort and Heat Gains in CR by PEM (개별공조에 의한 CR에서의 Heat Gain과 재실자 온열성 연구)

  • 기존의 공조방식 및 본 연구에서 제안한 개별환경제어시스템(PEM)으로부터 열유체 유동 헤석용 PHOENICS 프로그램을 이용하여 3차원 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 재실자가 거주하고 있는 CR(컴퓨터실)에서의 Heat Gain과 재실자 온열성 특성을 감성공학적 측면에서 분석하였다. 본 연구로부터 바닥으로부터 공기를 유입하여 천정으로 유출하는 바닥취출공조방식이 실내 환경 개선에 유리하고 diffuser만을 통하여 공기가 유입되어 천정과 바닥으로 공기가 유출되는 PEM 방식은 열적 냉각 성능은 좋으나 PC와 재실자 주변에 강력한 재순환 유동이 발생되어 실내 환경의 쾌적성 측면에서는 불리하나 PEM과 TAM방식의 결합이 감성공학적 온열특성 분포로부터 CR실의 재실자 주변 온도 분포에 최적임을 알 수 있다.

  • 본 연구에서는 정밀 측정/검사장비의 운영상 발생하는 에러의 원인을 규명하기 위함이다. C/R에 사용되어지는 정밀측정/검사장비는 장비 기초에 대하여 진동허용규제치를 장비 제작업체 제공한다. 이에 C/R 구조 및 장비 기초에 대하여 진동원 차단 방안등을 수행하게된다. 이러한 진동허용규제치를 만족시키기 위한 방안을 수행함에도 공조 소음등과 같은 요인에 의한 장비의 운영상 발생하는 진동과 관련된 에러를 규명하고 이를 제어하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of a 1hp class two-phase type BLDC fan motor used in an air conditioning system. The BLDC motor, which is implemented in this study, is not a commutator motor type with excellent lifetime and durability and is driven by two phase power source. The most important target specification of a motor used in an air conditioning system is that it has a high efficiency at the rated operating point. For this purpose, we designed the stator shape of the BLDC motor, the design of the rotor magnet, and the control circuit for driving. The BLDC motor has a structure where the motor part, the control part, and the power part are integrated. The finite element analysis was used to calculate the characteristics of the BLDC motors, and the conformity of the design results was confirmed by fabricating and testing the prototype model.

  • There has been an increasing interest in the market of vehicle maintenance and repair equipments to decrease air pollution. However, most of the existing air conditioning system equipment in Korea have poor performance as well as non-protection against air pollution. The purpose of this paper is to develop the monitoring technology of recovering and recharging refrigerant for air conditioning system, and also to develop its related diagnostic system. This technology and system can supply the exact amount of refrigerant from the charger to the air conditioning system by precisely diagnosing and monitoring their statuses. This technology can also control recovering and recharging of refrigerant exactly by altering the recovering pressures of refrigerant according to circumstance temperatures.

  • The fuzzy control algorithm for HVAC system has been developed for minimizing energy consumption while maintaining the comfort of indoor thermal environment in terms of the environmental variables such as time varying indoor cooling load and outdoor temperatures. The optimal set-points of control parameters with fuzzy control are supply air temperature, chilled water temperature and condenser temperature. This study has been done by using TRNSYS program in order to analyze the HVAC system response. As a result, the fuzzy control algorithm with PID algorithm shows good energy performance in comparison with conventional one.

  • Control algorithms for the absorption air conditioning system may be developed by using dynamic models of the system. The simplified effective dynamic models, which can predict the dynamic behaviors of the system, may help to develop effective control algorithms for the system. In this study, control algorithms for an absorption air conditioning system were developed by using a dynamic simulation program. A cooling water inlet temperature control algorithm, a chilled water outlet temperature control algorithm, and a supply air temperature control algorithm, were developed and analyzed. The steepest descent method was used as an optimal algorithm. The simulation results showed energy savings and the effective controls of an absorption air conditioning system.

  • Room air flow and temperature distribution was numerically investigated where a PAC(personal air conditioning) system was installed. The calculated results were compared with those from experiments. The effects of the important operation parameters such as the air flow rate, velocity, and temperature at the diffuser on the thermal performance of the system were studied. The possibility of energy saving using the PAC system was verified from the results, It was shown that the warm air from the diffuser could not spread over the whole task area if the inlet temperature was too high.

  • The optimal control system for heat source and HVAC system has been developed for minimizing energy consumption while maintaining the comfort of indoor thermal environment in terms of the environmental variables such as time varying indoor load and outdoor temperatures. The optimal set-points of control parameters are supply air temperature and chilled or hot water temperatures. The optimal control study has been implemented for biosafety laboratory by using TRNSYS simulation program in order to investigate energy performance for heat source and HVAC system.

  • In order to control multi-zone temperatures, a multi-type air-conditioning system may be used. In this study, control algorithms for the compressor and the electronic expansion valve of a multi-type air-conditioning system were developed by using fuzzy logics. The compressor control algorithm was composed of a compressor pressure setpoint algorithm, a compressor pressure setpoint reset algorithm, and a compressor frequency setpoint algorithm. The electronic expansion valve control algorithm was composed of an indoor temperature control algorithm, and a superheat control algorithm. These algorithms were applied to a multi-type air-conditioning system. Test showed good results for the control of a multi-type air-conditioning system.
