  • The motion of an aircraft landing gear over rough runway at variable speed is nonstationary. hi this paper, a method for the computation of nonstationary response variance is presented which uses a state space form for the combination of landing gear and runway excitation. The dynamic characteristics of the landing gear under nonstationazy random excitations has also been analyzed using the proposed method. The formulation is for linear systems of arbitrary order and allows any deterministic velocity history.

  • 지금까지의 하천 설계는 하천의 유량, 유사량, 하상토 입도분포, 강턱의 입자 또는 하도 표면의 특성, 하곡의 경사 등을 고려하여 안정한 횡단면을 결정하기 위한 목적으로 발전되어 왔다. 하지만, 하천 복원에 있어서 이동 하상의 안정 하도 및 하천을 설계하는 작업은 수리학적, 하천 형태학적, 그리고 유사 수리학적 측면에서 매우 복잡한 문제들을 포함하고 있으며 더 나아가 다양한 생태서식처 및 환경을 제공할 수 있는 측면까지도 고려하도록 요구되어 지고 있다. 자연하천 복원 설계시 가장 선행되어야 할 작업은 복원하고자 하는 현재의 하천 및 하도의 안정성에 대한 평가이며 이러한 과정에서 평형 하천의 개념을 반드시 고려해야 한다. 안정하도 및 평형하천 형태를 계산하는 방법들이 여러 연구자들에 의해 제안되어 왔고 여러 해석적 방법들 중 Copeland의 방법은 실제로 충적하천에서의 안정 하도 평가 및 설계에 가장 많이 이용되고 있으며 미공병단에 의해 개발된 SAM(Stable Channel Analysis Model) 모형에서 채택하고 있는 해석적 방법 중 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 Copeland의 해석적 안정하도 분석 방법을 기본 모듈로 채택하고 있는 미공병단에서 개발한 SAM(Stable Channel Analysis Model)의 기본적인 특성과 활용도에 대해서 알아보고 이를 남한강 제1지류인 청미천의 구하도 복원 예정 구간에 적용시켜 현재하도의 안정성을 평가하였다. 분석 결과, 안정하도 경사는 현재 하도 경사보다 완만한 것으로 나타났으나 SAM에서 예측하고 있는 청미천의 안정 하폭은 현재 하도의 하폭보다 훨씬 작은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 현재 청미천의 복원 구간에서 사주가 많이 발생하는 이유를 뒷받침 하는 결과라고 할 수 있다. 안정수심은 현재 하도의 수심보다 깊은 것으로 계산되었다. SAM을 이용한 계산 결과들은 현재하도의 안정성 평가뿐만 아니라 복원 구간의 안정하도 설계를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

A Study for Seepage Control of Levee with a Pervious Toe Drain (제내 비탈끝 배수공을 이용한 제방의 침투조절에 관한 연구)

  • The levee is the facility which is constructed along with river for the protection of landside and for passage of water when there is a flood. When the seepage is exposed to the atmosphere on the landside surface of levee, it may eventually lead to levee failure. The seepage water may be removed from the landside surface by a properly designed drainage system. The purpose of the study is to show seepage control effect of a pervious toe drain, and to compare two drainage methods of a pervious toe drain. One is the pervious toe drain suggested by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the other is that suggested by Japan Institute of Construction Engineering (JICE). The levee model constructed has the following dimension: the base width is 2.6 m; the crest width is 0.4 m; the side slope 1 : 2. The water depth in the riverside is 0.5 m. The shape of the toe drain by USACE is triangular. The shape of the toe drain by JICE is rectangular. They were installed with the base length of 0.4 m. The levee model without the toe drain showed saturation surface on the land side in the experiment but not with the toe drain. The experiment results was applied to a numerical analysis model using SEEP/W to calibrate and verify. The numerical analysis results for 35 cm and 30 cm drain width showed that the drain by JICE is a little bit safer than the drain by USACE. It is also easier to construct the toe drain by JICE. The results in the study would be applied to plan the seepage control for a levee with pervious toe drain.

  • 본 논문에서는 웹 상에서의 협동연구에 사용될 수 있는 프리젠테이션 시스템의 설계에 관해 기술한다. 기존의 프리젠테이션 시스템은 전용 어플리케이션을 필요로 하며, 정적이고 수동적임은 물론 한 참가자에게 단방향으로만 보여지는 형태의 시스템이다. 그러나 참가자들이 서로 뷰(view)와 상호작용을 공유할 수 있는 공동 작업(CSCW)의 개념을 적용함으로써 동적이고 능동적인 프리젠테이션 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 참가자들 상호간에 실시간으로 양방향 음성통신이 가능하게 함으로써 모든 참가자들이 하나의 가상공간에 함께 존재하는 것 같은 느낌을 가지게 된다. 자바 애플릿으로 시스템을 구현하여 전용 어플리케이션이 불필요하고, WWW 서비스가 가능한 곳에서 웹 브라우저만 있으면 언제 어디서나 프리젠테이션에 참가할 수 있는 시스템이다.

  • This study performed a numerical simulation to predict the development of ship waves and their propagation in the shallow water region of Gunzang New Port and to examine the stability of taut line mooring at the sea wall using the design criteria. In order to predict the propagation of ship waves based on the speeds of various ships under complicated and shallow water depths, a computer model was constructed based on the Boussinesque equation with a fixed coordinate system. Additionally, an investigation if the stability was made by applying MOSES under the environmental loadings estimated by OCIMF.

  • The cases of using new methods of big blocks are largely increasing on Recent large-scale bridge structures. So the accurate data of responses of bridges following environmental causes are required to be quickly recorded in order to predict. For this reason described above, the research on measuring system should be conducted for more knowledge of the details on application and stability of new methods. In this study, the new health monitoring system that can monitor the real behavior and damages of the bridge during all processes of construction is presented by analyzing cases of domestic and overseas bridge health monitoring system, and applied methods of following bridges.

A Study on the Improvements of Security and Quality for Analog Speech Scrambler (아날로그 음성 비화기의 비도 및 음질 향상에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, a new algorithm for high level security and quality of speech is proposed. The algorithm is based on the rearrangement of the fast fourier transform (FFT) coefficients with pre and post filter process, hamming window and adaptive pseudo spectrum insertion. Then, the pre and post filters are used for the whitening of speech spectrum and the adaptive pseudo spectrum is inserted for the unclassification of silence/speech. Also, the hamming window technique is applied for the robustness to the syncronization error in the telephone line. According to the simulation results, it can be seen that the security of scrambled signal and the quality of descrambled signal have been improved fairly in both subjective and objective performance test and the new FFT scrambler is robust to the synchronization error.

Aesthetical-ethical Paradigm of Care Ethics in Nursing (돌봄의 윤리를 위한 미감적 - 윤리적 패러다임)

  • The purposes of this study was to find aesthetical-ethical paradigm of care ethics by understanding the unique moral character of care as an art and to suggest the optimal direction of nursing ethics. Method: This study used meaning-heuristic and -interpretive methods of hermeneutics based on philosophical aesthetic theory; Baumgarten's aesthetics, Schiller's theory of aesthetical education and Kant's theory of aesthetical judgement. Result: The concept of care implied aesthetical and ethical character; caring as an art was related to moral feeling based on human dignity und emotional communication in interpersonal-relationship. Caring as an art was interpreted as a moral ideal for the promotion of the humanity und the interaction in personal-relationship according to nursing theories. Philosophical aesthetics could provide the theoretical base for the interpretation of caring as an art. The proper paradigm of care ethics in nursing could be found in character-trait ethics and communication ethics according to the philosophical aesthetics. Conclusion: This study could show aesthetical-ethical paradigm of care ethics in nursing by the heuristic interpretation of caring as an art according to the philosophical aesthetics

Study on Disaster Prevention System for Long Span Bridge over the Sea (장대해상교량의 방재시스템 구축에 관한 연구)

  • Bridge types such as the suspension bridges and the cable stayed bridges maintained by cables present the dangerous possibility of a ship running through the bottom of the bridge. Due to hangers and main cables in the upper structural system, the bridge is also susceptible to disasters. However, these cable bridges are usually used for long span bridges over the sea. This structure is relatively more exposed to disasters, such as wind, hail, and earthquake, than other structures. This structure also has the potential to cause car accidents on account of the poor visibility due to foggy conditions. If a fire breaks out because of a car accident due to wind, a car explosion will likely occur.
