Job Competencies and Educational Needs Perceived by New Community Health Practitioners (신규 보건진료전담공무원이 인식한 직무역량과 교육요구)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to identify job competencies and needs for job education perceived by new community health practitioners. Methods: This study used a qualitative research design. Eight new community health practitioners participated in this study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using content analysis. Results: Five job competencies were identified in this study, including primary care, public health management, interpersonal relationship, teaching and counseling, and leadership. The contents of job education that they needed were management of major symptoms and chronic diseases, understanding and prescription of medications, emergency responses and care, management of endemic diseases, planning and management of public health programs, writing official documentsand computer works, and leadership training. The learning methods they preferred were connecting theory and practice, situation- or case-based learning, skill- or practice-based learning, and increased opportunities of clinical practice. Conclusion: The findings of this study provided the direction of job education for new community health practitioners. Job education for new community health practitioners needs to consider the job competencies and educational needs identified in this study.

  • 한국해양대학교는 IALA WWA에서 인증 받은 Level 1 (AtoN Manager) 교육기관으로 개도국 훈련을 분담하고 있다. "항로표지 전문가 및 글로벌 리더 양성"이라는 교육목표를 가지고 개도국을 위한 교육프로그램을 구성하였으며, IALA WWA 모델코스를 바탕으로 초청연수 교재를 개발하였다. 2017년 7월 한 달 간 아시아 태평양 지역의 항로표지 관리자 공무원을 대상으로 초청연수(역량강화)을 시행하였으며 초청 연수 종료 후 연수생을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하고 분석한 결과 항로표지에 관한 전문지식이 향상되었고 연수에 대한 만족도도 높게 나타났다. 한국해양대학교는 지속적인 항로표지교육을 실시하여 주변 개도국의 해양안전과 해양경쟁력을 발전시키는데 이바지할 계획이다.

Evaluation of Environmental Education of Public Servants in NIERD based on CIPP Model (CIPP 모형에 기반한 국립환경인력개발원의 공무원 환경교육에 대한 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the environmental education of public servants in National Institute of Environmental Human Resource Development(NIERD). Based on CIPP model, Evaluation areas and items were made. The data were collected through interviews, questionnaires and training and development team's internal information from November, 2005 to January, 2006. Based on the interviews and survey of 11 employee from training and development team, context factors, input factors, process factors, product factors were evaluated. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the problem of the environmental education of environmental officials indicated lack of interest about education of Ministry of Environment, lack of education expense, lack of expertise of employee in training and development team, and so on. Second, the curriculum for environmental officials was not considered the environmental officials' readiness for education, developmental level and competency. Suggestions for future research were offered.

  • In this study, a survey research was conducted on government employees in Busan Metropolitan City to identify the influence of cyber education factors (learning factor, learner factor, and learning system factor) on the preference for government employee cyber education offered by the government always learning system. Analyzed results, recognition of learning factor, learner factor, and always learning system were shown to have significant influence on the preference for cyber education, but no indication of influence by always learning support. This study intends to assist stimulating voluntary participation in cyber education and active commitment in learning activities through improving learning effect and fortifying convenient informatization education, with regard to activation of cyber education and improved preference for cyber education.

  • The development of distributed databases using a distributed object technology is more popular than ever before because the current computer system environment is adaptable for a use as well as the cost of the integration of legacy systems is cheaper than making a new application. In schools, development of an integrated system consisted of many stand-alone databases give a teacher and an administrator the convenience of managing the database in a school and the ease integration of data in it. Therefore, this research is to design and implement the 3-tier distributed database using CORBA, Java and JDBC.

Project of Improving Good Agriculture Practice and Income by Intergrated Agricultural Farming (미얀마 우수농산물 재배기술 전수사업)

  • The objectives of the project are to increase farmers' income through GAP and to reduce the loss of agricultural produce, for which the Korean partner takes a role of transferring needed technologies to the project site. To accomplish the project plan, it is set to implement the project with six components: construction of buildings, installation of agricultural facilities, establishment of demonstration farms, dispatching experts, conducting training program in Korea and provision of equipments. The Project Management Committee and the Project Implementation Team are consisted of Korean experts and senior officials from Department of Agriculture, Myanmar that managed the project systematically to ensure the success of the project. The process of the project are; the ceremony of laying the foundation and commencing the construction of training center in April, 2012. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the completion of GAP Training Center was successfully held under PMC (MOAI, GAPI/ARDC) arrangement in SAl, Naypyitaw on June 17, 2012. The Chairman of GAPI, Dr. Sang Mu Lee, Director General U Kyaw Win of DOA, officials and staff members from Korea and Myanmar, teachers and students from SAl attended the ceremony. The team carried out an inspection and fixing donors' plates on donated project machineries, agro-equipments, vehicles, computers and printer, furniture, tools and so forth. Demonstration farm for paddy rice, fruits and vegetables was laid out in April, 2012. Twenty nine Korean rice varieties and many Korean vegetable varieties were introduced into GAP Project farm to check the suitability of the varieties under Myanmar growing conditions. Paddy was cultivated three times in DAR and twice in SAl. In June 2012, vinyl houses were started to be constructed for raising seedlings and finished in December 2012. Fruit orchard for mango, longan and dragon fruit was established in June, 2012. Vegetables were grown until successful harvest and the harvested produce was used for panel testing and distribution in January 2013. Machineries for postharvest handling systems were imported in November 2012. Setting the washing line for vegetables were finished and the system as run for testing in June 2013. New water tanks, pine lines, pump house and electricity were set up in October 2013.

대용량 영상 자료를 활용한 환경지리정보 인트라넷 시스템 개발

  • 최근 들어 위성영상 및 항공사진은 국토환경관리에 매우 중요한 수단으로 인식되고 있으며, 이러한 추세에 따라 환경부 및 환경부 산하 기관의 많은 공무원들이 이러한 영상자료를 빠르게 업무에 활용할 수 있는 시스템이 필수적으로 요구되고 있다. 그러나 기존 시스템은 고가의 영상처리소프트웨어를 사용자 PC에 설치한 뒤 이를 이용하여 사용자 개인 컴퓨터에 저장되어 있는 대용량의 영상자료를 처리하여 업무에 활용하는 방식을 택함으로써, 영상자료 유출의 위험성, 소프트웨어의 중복적 구매에 따른 비용증가, 대용량 영상자료의 이동성 감소, 관련 소프트웨어 교육 시간 및 비용 증가 및 대용량 자료 처리에 따른 처리시간 증가 등의 문제를 야기해 왔다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 극복하고 환경부 공무원의 사용자 활용도를 증가시킨 '대용량 영상자료를 활용한 환경지리정보 인트라넷 시스템'을 개발했다. 본 시스템은 최신 영상 압축 및 전송 기술을 활용하여 영상자료의 물리적 파일 크기에 관계없이 사용자가 원하는 부분만을 압축 전송함으로써 매우 빠른 속도로 사용자가 원하는 지역을 인트라넷을 통해 서비스할 뿐만 아니라, 이렇게 전송된 영상을 웹 상에서 실시간으로 영상처리함으로써 사용자 편의성과 속도를 매우 향상시켰다. 또한 본 시스템은 환경부가 제작한 34종 이상의 벡터 자료와 함께 통합되어 서비스됨으로써 영상자료와 벡터자료의 통합적 활용성을 증가시켰다.용성을 증가시켰다.

The Convergence Research on Oral Health Care Behavior of Fire Officers (소방공무원의 구강건강관리 행태에 관한 융합연구)

  • This study was conducted in 241 fire officers at fire stations in Daejeon Metropolitan City to determine their oral health care behavior status and obtained the following results: First, men were more likely to brush their teeth 3 times a day and women were more likely to brush their teeth 4 times a day; those who were in their twenties and had ${\leq}5$ years of career brushed their teeth for ${\geq}3$ minutes. Second, the respondents who were in their twenties and thirties and had <10 years of career were more likely to use auxiliary oral hygiene devices and fire captains and those at higher positions were more likely to have received oral health education. Third, the respondents having received oral health education were more likely to use auxiliary oral hygiene devices and to have their teeth scaling within a year. While the fire officers were fortunately at good levels of oral health care, taking the poor working environment into account, the efforts to develop job-customized oral health programs in which IT and robot technologies are combined to improve oral health and take measures to publicize the programs and to give better treatment to fire officers are expected to put them in better oral health care status.

  • A firefighter is one of the most dangerous jobs. But in many precent studies, risk induction factors have been understood as direct accident causes and classification of the factors are not logical. This studies reviews risk induction risks and categorized them into institutional, cultural and personal experience factors. institutional factors, Institutional factors are composed of educational and working conditions. Cultural factors are composed of performance oriented and considerate parts. Personal experiences are divided into two parts: experiences about organizational members and about ordinary citizens. Survey showed that working conditions were recognized so poorly by firefighters.

  • Country is security agencies with the launch of the Park Chung Hee government president security service act was enacted since installed successfully now undergoing a large-scale international events reborn professional Security agencies, including the North and the Northeast, but the conflict continues because of the national reduce the threat to the security without a destination. However countermeasures against these threats is emphasized, but in an effort to raise the country is security officials security agencies working environment and training for these studies have not performed in this study was started. In order to achieve this purpose, president security service and the seoul police agency personnel working in the field for 45 people who were interviewed, recently developed by utilizing Nvivo 8 program to improve working conditions in the analysis of organizational culture 51(78.46%), Image 7(10.93%), physical and mental 6(9.37%) were categorized, educational institutions in the direction of a police constable 56(76.71%), educational psychology 12(16.43%), theory of education 5(6.84%) were categorized as high. We look at the research results suggest that the authority of the president security service president security service officials in tissue culture officials were struggling to belong to an organization, you need to induce a change in culture has been raised, the current president of the Security Service, as well as specialized police constable training within the organization establish the necessary institutions respectively.
