The purpose of the study is to investigate the behaviors for ventilation to control indoor air quality and characteristics of the maintenance for ventilation equipments by multi-family housing residents. This study was conducted by the survey in the area of Seoul and Kyungki-do. The results of the study are as follows: the majority of respondents conduct ventilation once a day, below 20 minutes with opening some windows of the inside of the house. The time for ventilation is generally between 9-11 am. and 5-7 pm. Most of the wives are responsible for ventilation activities. In addition, so far building materials and furniture are not seriously considered as the source of indoor air pollution by the respondents. Their satisfaction for indoor air before and after ventilation is perceived as just the level of average. As the mechanical ventilation equipments such as a hood and an exhaust fan, half of the respondents are using them frequently. However, the ventilation equipments are not maintained well. Specially maintenance and checks for exhaust fans are hardly conducted. In conclusion, the frequency of ventilation is very limited and residents show passive attitudes about ventilation and maintenance of ventilation equipments. Therefore, for the actualization of healthy housing, educational programs and guidelines on the way of ventilation targeting the residents should be set up and a certain organization has to check periodically the performance of the ventilation equipments of each house in the multi-family housing complex.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of leisure facilities and to examine residents' needs for leisure facilities in apartment complex. The questionnaire survey and content analysis were used. The Data for content analysis were 476 site plans, and the subjects of questionnaire survey were 673 residents lilving in 35 apartment complex. Frequency, Percentage, and mean, ANOVA-A, x^{2}-test, and multiple regression were used for data analysis. The major results were as follows. 1) Facilities for children play, and senior, sports facilities, community center, green area, and resting place were included in leisure facilities in apartment complex. These facilities were different according to complex site and built-period. 2)The degree of satisfaction of leisure facilities was lower than neutral. The satisfaction of leisure facilities related with diversity of leisure facilities and program, and poor environment. 3) Subjects needed the facilities recommended in housing act including diverse leisure facilities such as sports center and resident's self government facilities. And they needed divers facilities for sports. 4) In terms of location, they needed leisure facilities which was closer to their house.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경은 오늘날 인간생활 행태의 변화뿐만 아니라 미래건축 공간에도 큰 변화를 가져오고 있다. 그 중에서도 인간의 가장 기본적인 생활환경인 주거 공간의 변화는 빠르게 이루어지고 있다. 지능형 홈, 사이버 아파트 등의 새로운 미래주거 공간이 나타나고 홈네트워크 시스템을 이용한 다양한 유비쿼터스 서비스가 적용되고 있다. 그러나 거주자를 위한 유비쿼터스 서비스가 공간에 적절히 적용되지 않는 사례가 발생하고 있고 수요자 요구와 관련 없이 서비스가 설계되어 있어 효율성이 떨어지는 문제점도 나타나고 있다. 이는 현재의 홈네트워크가 IT 업계가 제공한 솔루션과 기기 중심으로 서비스가 개발되고, 공급자 위주의 기능의 편리성을 위주로 제공되고 있기 때문이며, 주택을 잘 알고 있는 건설인과의 협업이나 최종 사용자의 기호가 고려되고 있지 않기 때문이다. 더욱 중요한 것은 초기 디자인 단계에서 이러한 문제점들이 수용되고 있지 못하고 공간 디자인과 서비스 개발이 유리화되어 선 시공 후, 서비스를 끼워 맞추기식으로 계획하고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구는 서비스 개발의 관점에서 접근하여 공동 주택의 초기 디자인 단계에서 수요자가 원하는 서비스를 공간에 적용하여 부합되는지를 살펴보고, 이에 따라 적절한 미래공간을 디자인 할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 공간정보 데이터베이스를 기반으로 한 공동주택 유비쿼터스 서비스 개발을 위한 기초 연구에 그 목적을 둔다.

입주자의 선호도를 무시한 획일적 평면의 공급으로 인해 공동주택 발코니 개조가 심각한 수준에 이르고 있으며, 이로 인해 국가적 손실과 많은 문제점을 유발하고 있다. 지금까지의 많은 선행 연구들은 발코니의 사용실태, 발코니의 개조비율과 개조유형을 조사하여 평면계획상의 개선방안만을 거론하였을 뿐, 개조비용을 산출한 연구는 전무하다. 따라서 본 연구는 첫째, 설문을 통해 발코니의 개조비용을 추정하고, 둘째, 건설회사 분양방식, 거주자의 의식, 관련법령 측면에서 발코니 개조 원인을 분석함으로써, 각 측면에서 발코니 개조를 양성화할 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다.

Residential Buildings should provide high-quality, comfortable environments to support the activities of their occupants. The indoor environment of residential buildings, which includes thermal, lighting, acoustic, and indoor air quality, has a significant impact on health and quality of life. The comfortable living environment in residential buildings result from appropriately combining these environmental quality factors, and the performance of building systems must be compatible with the activities of the occupants. The objective of this research is to investigate and analyze the relationship between physical environmental conditions and occupant responses for improving environmental quality (EQ) in apartment buildings with four different building orientations (i.e. E, W, S, N) in two different seasons (i.e. winter and summer). The occupant survey was conducted in actual apartment buildings. The Physical environmental conditions in apartment buildings differed substantially depending on space, outdoor weather conditions and building orientations. Each space within the same apartment building had different environmental conditions. Combinations of unbalanced physical environmental conditions in apartment building decrease occupants' satisfactions and their perceptions of overall residential quality. Occupants' satisfaction and their responses to physical characteristics of their residential environment is related to thermal, lighting, acoustic, and indoor air conditions in their buildings. The result from this research will help designers and researchers to identify problems and develop solutions for improving environmental quality from the occupants' point of view.

본 논문에서는 도시공해 방지를 위해 도시가스를 연료로 사용하는 경우 거주자의 생활수준이나 단지의 밀도 및 난방부하 설정등에 다소 차이는 있으나 소규모 고층 아파트(공동주택)의 난방방식중 중앙난방 방식과 개별난방 방식의 초기시설비, 연료비, 시설관리비의 경제성을 검토하고 난방 시스템의 지침을 제시하였다. 전체 공사비(초기투자비)는 개별난방 방식이 중앙난방 방식보다 약 2$\%$정도 절감되었다. 난방비와 시설관리에 따른 인건비 면에서도 난방의 경우 개별난방 방식이 중앙난방 방식에 비하여 난방과 하절기 온수만을 별도로 사용하는 경우 개별난방 방식이 중앙난방 방식보다 난방비가 9$\%$정도 더 들었으며, 시설관리 인건비 면에서는 중앙난방 방식보다 개별난방 방식이 66.7$\%$ 적게 들었다. 전체적으로 중앙난방 방식보다 개별난방 방식이 초기투자비 및 유지관리 면에서 경제성이 우수함이 확인되었다.

The trend toward more welfare living because of more leisure time has influenced the popularity of the community facilities in apartment housing. According to the residents' increasing interests for well-being life the changes and developments of the community facilities have been required in these days. The purpose of this research is to study these required changes and developments by analyzing the resident's using behavior of community facilities in apartment housing focusing on the educational and cultural facilities. For this purpose, this research intends to examine the existing conditions and problems of educational and cultural community facilities in apartment housing and to analyze the residents' using patterns such as frequency, preference and to comprehend the additional needs and requirements of the residents. The conclusions and suggestions of this research can be a basic data for the architects to design a resident-oriented educational and cultural community facilities.

The application of Residents Participation Designing Method is to provide the resident with a chance of either participating in the planning process of the house or selecting other possible options. The multi-household apartments have so far been grown in quantity by means of mass production and hence have contributed in elevating its supply. However, this manner of supplying has a tendency of ignoring much of the individuals concern regarding space planning And has therefore repeatedly standardized and stereotyped ground planning which only concerns its economic profit and effectiveness. As the standard of living and personal wealth have improved over the years, residents have come to demand a more futuristic model designed to satisfy the individuals personal taste and lifestyle. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to suggest the planning method of multi-household apartments to correspond to resident's specific demand.

본 연구는 기존아파트를 대상으로 콘센트사용실태, 기구배치 및 가전기기사용형태를 조사하여 공동주택에 적합한 분기회로수와 콘센트수를 산정제시하였다. 이 기준안을 적용하면, 배선설비를 합리적으로 설계할 수 있고 거주자가 가전기기 및 배선기구를 사용시 안전성, 편리성을 높여 주는 등 그 적용효과가 클 것으로 기대된다.

In this study, the satisfaction rating to the floor impact sound was investigated for the residents in the apartment Building where the business scheme had been approved after 2005. The results are compared with existing research. The questionnaire survey was conducted to the 597 residents in 14 apartments complex which were applied with standard floor structure and approval floor structure. Most of respondents(71.1 %) answered that the performance of floor impact sound insulation, in case of standard floor structure, was improved compared to the apartments where they used to live. Comparing with the questionnaire survey result of existing research, the answered ratio of 'less annoyed' and 'less loud' is somewhat increased.
