  • 최근 공동주택 거주자의 공간변화 욕구에 대응하기 위하여 가변성 평면이 가능한 구조시스템에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이에 따라 건식벽체 구조시스템, 복합 무량 벽체 구조시스템, 격간벽 시스템 등 구조적으로 안정성이 확보되면서 공간가변성이 뛰어난 구조시스템이 대안으로 제시되었다. 본 연구에서는 격간벽 시스템의 지진해석을 통해 내진성능을 평가하였다. 비선형 정적해석 및 동적해석 결과 격간벽 시스템은 벽식 구조시스템에 비하여 초과강도가 작고, 연성이 다소 감소하지만 FEMA-356에서 정하는 붕괴 방지 수준을 만족하여 충분한 내진성능을 보유한 것으로 나타났다.

The Evaluation of the Proposal for Condominium Housing Remodeling in National Housing Scale($85m^2$) (국민주택 규모의 공동주택 리모델링 계획안의 평가)

  • This study illustrates a prototype proposal and its evaluation for the development of floor plans in the condominium housing remodeling. For this I evaluated the survey of the residents of the 'K' town in Joonge-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, against the proposal which was developed based on the resident's pre-survey. The result includes that the residents' preference for community actions such as the removal of fences which are reviewed as negative, whereas the introduction of a fitness center and community facilities in the library are reviewed as positive. The residents preferred the open space by the piloti structure, although which is the wall column structure, where they anticipated a rest area, sports facilities, and bicycle drop-off spots. The sidewall proposal in the main building and the full use of the roof floor were underestimated in terms of design concept. The research also illustrated the residents' desired space planning options, those tending to use of space 'B type', personalization 'C type' and spatial size 'A type'. Residents responded positively to the introduction of the 'Alpha' space in which two households share one space that could be used for multiple purposes such as a rest area, an environment-friendly garden, and hobby room, etc, and also there is another possibility it plays an important role to the sociality in community.

Exploring Residents' Attitudes in Multifamily Housing Toward Food Waste Zero-Emission System with Fermentation and Extinction Technology (발효·소멸 기술을 이용한 음식물 쓰레기 무배출 시스템에 대한 공동주택 거주자의 태도에 관한 분석)

  • As environmental sustainability becomes a key consideration in policy-making, more responsible consumption and utilization in daily life concern both health and quality of life. To address inequities in health in relation to environments, waste management has taken more progressive ways, and one of them is biomass-to-energy conversion that utilizes energy recovery from food waste. By extension, a food waste zero-emission system using fermentation and extinction technology gains much attention, so that this study is designed to examine residents' attitudes toward recycling food waste produced at home and toward food waste zero-emission system. Utilizing a survey questionnaire, this research collected data from 400 individual units of multifamily housing estates nationwide, and the data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings indicate that food waste generated at home was highly water-contained and produced in the stage of food preparation before cooking while respondents viewed that food waste collection and treatment needed to be improved. It's noted that respondents strongly supported the use of food waste as a energy source and would have the use of the food waste zero-emission system built in kitchen sink. Regression analysis showed that educational attainment of housewives, cooking style, and planning food purchase were statistically significant factors in the attitude of the responded residents toward recycling food waste while none of the factors were in the attitude toward the food waste zero-emission system.

A Study on the Relationship between the Apartment Interior Image Preference ana Personality Types. (아파트 실내 이미지 선호와 성격유형과의 상관성에 관한 연구)

  • This study, planed as an idea to promote the degree of the qualitative satisfaction on the residential space and to correspond effectively with the several and characteristic needs, is a try to overcome the limitation which is not to construct with the several plane-plans but the common designs on an apartment, unlike to an individual residence, should be designed for the unidentified persons. For this purpose, 1 set 360 mother group to investigate how to change their degree of the interior-image preference through their Personality Types by the apartment interior image pattern, verified by the pre-study on the real-resident's degree of preference corresponding with MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), a Personality Types investigation. This result, leading us to be able to predict the resident's needs of the interior image aspects following the preference of the several products and to be able to supply the products, is being thought to contribute to promote the degree of satisfaction of the resident.

  • Residential Environment Improvement Project (REIP) which has started in 1989 and continued with 3rd government-supporting project in 2013 has lots of policy changes and related studies. However, the related researches have focused on residents resettlement into the project site, this paper is more interested in the residents stability than residents resettlement. So, this paper analyzes the changes of residents stability on the site of REIPs (with 3 groups of dwellers, removers and newcomers). We survey about understanding of those projects, each interior physical housing characters, housing cost, outside settlement characters. On the base of case analysis, we can conclude as follows: firstly, the residents are more young, higher educated, and higher income but not alter to household, barrier, occupation. Secondly, REIPs have some positive influences on physical conditions of housing and outside characters but negative impacts on housing cost. In case of newcomers, there are no changes of housing size and room numbers but higher housing cost, better outside settlement conditions.

  • 주택의 공기질 환경에 대하여 사회적 이슈가 된 새집증후군에 대한 언론매체의 집중적 보도와 실내 공기질이 인체에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구보고서의 잇따른 발표에 따라 실내 공기 질에 대한 관심이 점점 더 고조되고 있는 시점에 환경부의 실내공기질 관리법에 의해 2004년 5월부터 신축되는 공동주택의 경우 포름알테히드와 VOCs등 새집에서 발생되는 유해 물질을 입주 전 측정하여 공고하여야 한다는 법이 제정이 되어있다. 따라서 각 건설사 및 관련 업계에서는 실내의공기질을 개선하기 위한 다양한 방법을 연구하고 있으며 일차적으로 유해오염물질이 발생되지 않는 건축자재를 사용하는 근본적인 오염원인을 제거하는 source control를 선행을 하고 2차적으로 거주자가 주거생활을 하면서 발생시키는 오염물질인 $CO_2$및 분진 냄새 등은 강제환기를 통해서 개선시키는 방법을 채택하여 실내공기 질을 개선하고자 노력하고 있다.   • The trend toward more welfare living because of more leisure time has influenced the popularity of the community facilities in apartment housing. According to the residents' increasing interests for well-being life the changes and developments of the community facilities have been required in these days. The purpose of this research is to study these required changes and developments by analyzing the resident's using behavior of community facilities in apartment housing focusing on the educational and cultural facilities. For this purpose, this research intends to examine the existing conditions and problems of educational and cultural community facilities in apartment housing and to analyze the residents' using patterns such as frequency, preference and satisfaction and to comprehend the additional needs and requirements of the residents. The conclusions and suggestions of this research can be a basic data for the architects to design a resident-oriented educational and cultural community facilities.

  • The Purpose of this research is to identify management systems that effect to multi-family housing resident's management satisfaction. This study used survey data collected by Korea Reseach Institute for Human Settlement(KRIHS) in 1003. The major findings were as follows: 1) Residents in compulsary management system evaluated housing management higher than ones in optional management system. 2) Quality of mainternanace management and residents' reliability of the representative committee influenced to residents' overall satisfaction of housing management.

  • The purpose of this study is to accumulate basic data to establish planning direction of the environment-friendly remodeling through residents' consciousness in apartment Housing. The results are as follows : 1)More than half of residents thought remodeling is influential in decreasing of environmental pollution. 2) The important planning factors of the environment-friendly remodeling appear saving-energy, increasing health & amenity, coping with the change of population & society.
