  • Recently, The high Air-Tightness and high heat insulation for building construction cause a ventilation air volume deficiency. Also, Worldwide high energy price is strongly urging to economize the air conditioning energy. Therefore Heat Recovery Ventilation is used for the satisfaction of ventilation air volume and building energy saving. Accordingly, this study dose the heat exchanger performance evaluation and economic efficiency evaluation of Heat Recovery Ventilation. And, we wish to make a basic study about HRV System application of HVAC System and Multi System Air-conditioning.

변풍량 공조시스템의 요구외기량 확보를 위한 제어방식 (Control Methods of the VAV Air Handling Unit for the Required Outdoor Air Demand)

  • Control algorithms of an air handling unit by using the mixing box plenum pressures were developed and verified by experiments. Control algorithms developed for this study were the setpoint algorithms for the outdoor damper position, the outdoor/fixed plenum pressure, and the return/exhaust plenum pressure. The outdoor/fixed plenum pressure setpoint was used to control the bypass damper position, and the return/exhaust plenum pressure setpoint was used to control the return fan speed. Experimental results showed the good control of the required outdoor air demand. Therefore, setpoint algorithms developed for this study may effectively be applied for the control of the VAV air handling unit.

자동차 에어컨 냉매 가스 누설에 대한 고장사례 고찰 (A Study of Failure Examples for Refrigerant Gas Leakage in Automotive Air Conditioner System)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 자동차 에어컨 가스 누설에 관련된 고장사례를 분석하고 고찰한 것이다. 첫 번째 사례는 냉매가 누설된 상태에서 에어컨 컴프레서가 계속 작동되었다. 이로 인해 에어컨 컴프레서 내부의 피스톤이 윤활부족으로 인해 피스톤이 부분적으로 에어컨 컴프레서 내부의 실린더에 소착되는 현상이 발생하였다. 이것이 엔진작동 중 부하를 증대시켜 엔진의 회전수 변동과 함께 엔진의 작동이 정지되는 현상이 발생된 것으로 확인되었다. 두 번째 사례는 에어컨 라인과 관련 시스템을 확인한 결과 에어컨 컴프레서에서 뒤쪽으로 가는 컨덴서 고압파이프에서 미세한 균열에 의해 에어컨 냉매 가스가 누설되는 것을 확인하였다. 세 번째 사례는 에어컨 컨덴서 핀 부에서 육안으로 확인하기 어려운 미세한 크랙에 의해 컨덴서 내부 안쪽에서 에어컨 가스가 미세하게 누설되는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서, 에어컨 시스템은 에어컨 냉매가스에 의해 자동차의 실내의 온도를 낮춰 공기조화를 하는 시스템이므로 최적의 상태를 유지할 수 있도록 철저한 관리를 하도록 하여야 한다.

  • The performances of the building service equipment relay on the individual superintendent's share for the assessment of performance, fault detection, deterioration diagnosis of the building service equipment. A major use of building energy management system(BEMS) is for monitoring plant and building's energy consumption. National building management system (N-BMS) presented in this study links buildings into a network group in order to monitor and control the buildings. How to construct the N-BMS was considered to save energy resource and to conserve performance of building service equipment. The FEMIS, facility, energy/environmental management & information system, for building service offer management process integrated with BAS, FMS and EMS and so on.

TUI 시스템 모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on the Development of TUI(Tangible User Interface) System Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 GUI의 한계를 벗어나고자 급변하고 있는 HCI 연구의 새로운 경향과 HCI연구의 한 분야인 실체적 인터페이스를 이해하고 이를 기반으로 실체적 인터페이스 시스템 개발을 위한 모델링 언어인 TML을 개발하였다. TML의 적용 사례로 개발된 이 시스템은 텐저블네이처(Tangible Nature)라고 부르겠다 텐저블네이처는 인간과 시스템간의 관계의 범위를 더 확장하여 인간과 자연의 관계를 인간-컴퓨터간의 커뮤니케이션에 반영하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 수천년간 인간은 자연 속에서 시간의 흐름에 따른 계절의 변화에 대해 자연현상 등을 경험을 통해 이를 자연스럽게 받아들이고 있다. 이것은 단일치 감각 채널을 통해서가 아니라 인간에게 가능한 모든 감각치 채널이 조화를 이루며 행해졌고 이러한 경험을 통하여 시간의 흐름이라는 무형의 정보에 대한 개념모델을 형성하고 있다. 이러한 인간의 경험은 현재의 GUI에서는 반영될 수 없었던 많은 공감각적인 부분으로 TUI를 기반으로 자연과의 커뮤니케이션 능력과 경험을 가상의 정원 안에서 인간과 시스템간의 인터랙션으로 개발하였다. 모델링 기법이 다양한 사례에 적합한가를 검증해 보기 위해 사례연구 대상은 실체적 인터페이스의 다양한 텐저블즈의 속성을 다룰 수 있는 아이템선정을 주목적으로 하였다. 실체적 인터페이스의 2가지 연구방향은 환경 미디어와 만져지는 미디어를 모두 활용할 수 있는 형태적으로도 다양한 텐저블즈를 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 크게 사용자의 목적에 따라 시스템을 제어할 수 있는 기능과 정보를 전달받을 수 있는 기능을 선정하였으며 피드백 방식은 환경 미디어를 통해 전달할 수 있는 방법을 모색하였다. 텐저블네이처는 도심 속의 건물 속에서 자연을 느낄 수 있는 환경 조성을 목적으로 한다 자연을 느낄 수 있는 채널을 환경 미디어에서 모색하였는데 빛, 소리, 공기의 흐름 등 인간의 주변감각을 자극하는 다양한 양식이 있으나 현재 구현과 제어가 가능한 소리와 빛을 중심으로 피드백을 받을 수 있도록 하였다.

차량 내부 탑승자의 쾌적성 평가를 위한 초기 냉방운전 성능에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (Numerical Analysis on the Initial Cool-down Performance Inside an Automobile for the Evaluation of Passenger's Thermal Comfort)

  • Cool-down performance after soaking is important because it affects passenger's thermal comfort. The cooling capacity of HVAC system determines initial cool down performance in most cases, the performance is also affected by location, and shape of panel vent, indoor seat arrangement. Therefore, optimal indoor designs are required in developing a new car. In this paper, initial cool down performance is predicted by CFD(computational fluid dynamics) analysis. Experimental time-averaging temperature data are used as inlet boundary condition. For more reliable analysis, real vehicle model and human FE model are used in grid generation procedure. Thermal and aerodynamic characteristics on re-circulation cool vent mode are investigated using CFX 12.0. Thermal comfort represented by PMV(predicted mean vote) is evaluated using acquired numerical data. Temperature and velocity fields show that flow in passenger's compartment after soaking is considerably unstable at the view point of thermodynamics. Volume-averaged temperature is decreased exponentially during overall cool down process. However, temperature monitored at different 16 spots in CFX-Solver shows local variation in head, chest, knee, foot. The cooling speed at the head and chest nearby panel vent are relatively faster than at the knee and foot. Horizontal temperature contour shows asymmetric distribution because of the location of exhaust vent. By evaluating the passenger's thermal comfort, slowest cooling region is found at the driver's seat.

복합형 태양열 가열기에서 열매체 단일운전에 따른 기기성능 평가 (Performance Estimation of Hybrid Solar Air-Water Heater on Single Working of Heating Medium)

  • Research about hybrid solar air-water heater that can make heated air and hot water was conducted as a part of improving efficiency of solar thermal energy. At this experiment, ability of making heating air and hot water was investigated and compared with traditional solar air heater and flat plate solar collector for hot water when air or liquid was heated respectively. Comparing hybrid solar air-water heater that used in this experiment to other solar air heater studied already, it has a lower efficiency at same mass flow rate. Air channel structure, fin's shape and arrangement in the air channel result in these difference then the ability of air heating need to be improved with changing these thing. In case of making hot water, performance was shown as similar with traditional system although the air channels were established beneath absorbing plate. But the heat loss coefficient was shown higher value by installing of air channel. Also the performance of hot water making was shown lower value at same liquid mass flow rate with traditional flat plate solar collector for hot water. So the necessity of performance improvement at lower mass flow rate of each heating medium can be confirmed.

복합형 태양열 가열기의 일일 운전 특성 및 축열 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on Thermal Storage Performance and Characteristics of Daily Operation of a Hybrid Solar Air-Water Heater)

  • In this study, a thermal storage performance and characteristics of daily operation were investigated when the air and the liquid were heated simultaneously by a hybrid solar air-water heater that can make hot water as well as heated air. The hybrid solar air-water heater is kind of a flat plate solar collector that can make hot water and heated air by installing air channel beneath absorber plate of traditional flat plate solar collector for hot water. As a result of daily operation, maximum water temperature reached in a thermal storage was shown $44^{\circ}C$ on 73kg/h of air mass flow rate and about $40^{\circ}C$ on 176kg/h of air mass flow rate. Thus, the necessity of heating water in thermal storage by operating only liquid side was confirmed when the temperature of liquid in thermal storage is lower than we need. In case of efficiency investigated on daily operation, the thermal efficiency of the liquid side was decreased with increment of the inlet liquid temperature and decrement of the solar radiation, but efficiency of the air side was increased with increment of inlet liquid temperature difference as the traditional solar air heater. Total thermal efficiency of the collector was shown from 65.85% to 78.23% and it was decreased with increment of the inlet liquid temperature and decrement of solar radiation same as the traditional system.

  • With increment on interesting about improving renewable energy efficiency, many research have been conducted and the research about hybrid air-water heater using solar energy that can make heating air and hot water has been conducted also. In this experiment, the temperature difference and thermal efficiency were investigated when two heating medium(air and liquid) was working simultaneously. As a result, thermal efficiency showed 44% to 88% when these heating medium was working simultaneously depending on operation condition and it is better than traditional solar collector. Also possibility of application into building equipment also was confirmed based on temperature and thermal efficiency. But necessity of additional studies about proper operation condition according to purpose of use and heat load was confirmed because change of thermal efficiency by air velocity and flux of liquid was shown a huge difference.

사무소건물의 용도 및 측정기간에 따른 에너지 소비 특성 (Characteristics of Energy Consumption in an Office Building located in Seoul)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the characteristics and actual state of energy consumption by the analysis of energy consumption data in an office building. This study examines and analyzes daily and monthly energy consumption of an office building located in Seoul, Korea regarding type of load and business classification within a building. The results are as follows. 1) Energy consumption of office building for each type of load show similar consumption patterns, regardless of seasons such as cooling period and heating period. 2) Out of all annual energy consumption, consumption for lighting took about $43\;\%,$ general electric Power about $23\;\%,$ emergency power $25\;\%,$ computer center $5\;\%$ and cooling power $4\;\%,$ showing that the consumption for lighting was highest, and the percentage of energy consumption for cooling power for operation of cooling facilities took the lowest percentage. 3) Annual gas consumption used for heating and hot water supply were $38,\;36\;\%$ for officetel and office respectively, and $26\;\%$ for arcade. 4) Electricity consumptions used for cooling power for each use of building, office and officetel recorded in July and August of cooling seasons. Even though it shows different patterns for each month, energy consumption showed unique pattern throughout the cooling seasons.
