Supply chain integration is the degree to which a firm strategically collaborates with its supply chain partners. We study the relationship between supply chain integration and corporate performance and the role of information sharing between them. When the information sharing is used as a mediating factor between supply chain integration and performance, supply chain integration should be focused to enhance the performance because of their causal relationship among them. On the contrary, when the information sharing is used as a moderating factor, situational approach to improve performance is needed. This study collected 199 questionnaires from the manufacturing companies and used Amos 21 to analyze the measurement model and structural model. The study found that supply chain integration positively influences corporate performance and information sharing acts as a mediating variable between supply chain integration and corporate performance. Therefore the firm should pay additional attention on supply chain integration to improve the corporate performance.

With business environments around the world facing uncertainty and complexity, companies have focused on supply chain management as one of the essential elements in securing a competitive advantage. Successful supply chain management requires internal efforts to strengthen the core competencies of the company and the integration of individual functions in the supply chain. This study aims to investigate the effect of information sharing between companies on supply chain integration and corporate performance. The research hypothesis established in previous studies was analyzed using structural equation modeling. A total of 723 questionnaire responses were used to test the hypotheses of this study. We found that the integration and sharing of information between companies have a great influence on supply chain integration, which has positive effects on corporate performance at the operational and strategic levels, including finance, market share, and customer satisfaction. The integration of supply chains via information integration and sharing between companies can promote the flow of information, services, goods, and money. Therefore, if information is disconnected between actors in the supply chain, it will lead to negative effects on the management of the entire supply chain. On the other hand, if supply chain actors can share information efficiently in real time on one platform, they can expect to optimize the entire supply chain. Information sharing and integration at the strategic and operational levels play a vital role in supply chain integration, which contributes to achieving a company's performance targets and enhancing its competitiveness.

Recently it is important to understand service supply chain because the economy moves from manufacturing to services. However, most of existing supply chain research focuses exclusively on the manufacturing sector. To overcome this situation, it needs to investigate and analyze service supply chain. Simulation is one of the most frequently used techniques for analysis and design of complex system. Service supply chain is complex and large systems that require an accurate designing phase. Especially, it is important to examine closely the dynamically interactive behavior of the different service supply chain components in order to predict the performance of the servcie supply chain. In this paper, we develop a conceptual model of service supply chain. Then, we present a new procedure to develop simulation model for the developed conceptual model of service supply chain, based on the UML analysis and design tools and on the ARENA simulation language. The two main characteristics of the proposed procedure are the definition of a systematic procedure to design service supply chain and of a set of rules for the conceptual model translation in an ARENA simulation language. The goal is to improve the knowledge on service supply chain management and support the simulation model development efficiency on service supply chain.

This study is to analyze the relationship between supply chain resilience antecedent factors, supply chain resilience and business performance. Supply chain integration, risk management activity, and visibility were selected as the preceding factors of supply chain resilience, and the effect of these factors on agility and robustness as supply chain resilience, and the effects of agility and robustness factors on corporate management performance are studied. To this end, a survey was conducted on Korean manufacturing companies, and a total of 124 questionnaires were used for the study. As a result of the testing of the research hypothesis, supply chain integration, risk management activity, and visibility have a positive (+) significant effect on agility and robustness. In addition, agility had a positive (+) effect on corporate management performance. But robustness had a positive (+) effect on corporate management performance, but not significant. In order for manufacturing companies to secure supply chain resilience through such research hypothesis testing, it is necessary to secure supply chain integration, risk management activity, and visibility capabilities. It was confirmed that agility and visibility capability can be linked to corporate management performance. In addition, the overall relationship structure between the preceding factors of supply chain resilience, supply chain resilience, and business performance was presented.

This paper presents an analysis of construction project management from supply chain management perspective to gain insight from all constituents and to identify areas of improvement. In order to suggest opportunities for improvement, interviews with the members of a typical urban office building project in US were held. Based on that, a qualitative analysis of construction projects is presented. Focusing on electrical and mechanical sub-systems, this study illustrates the roles of subcontractors, suppliers, distributors, and manufacturing representatives as well as the complexity that a general contractor fares in managing its supply chain. The author$^{\circ}\phi$s recommendations are focused on process restructuring and automation, which include some quantifiable performance measures, incentives, and their alignment with each other

According to the environment change of market, supply chain network needs to be redesigned for efficient provision of product within the budget constraint. Also, it is desired that the customer satisfaction such as on time delivery should be considered as an important element at redesigning of supply chain network in addition to the cost reduction. In this paper redesign of supply chain network for its expansion is treated as a problem situation and a related mathematical model is suggested. Moreover, the numerical examples about the total weighted distance of the redesigned supply chain network are presented with various budget constraints by using genetic algorithm to help the managerial decision.

The purpose of the present study is to analyze how and to what degree multinational companies organize and operate their supply chains in accordance with the strategic resource of knowledge in their multinational management, and what kind of influence knowledge oriented global supply chain management has on the management performance of multinational corporations. For this purpose, the current research proposed a measurement model to provide specific shape to the concept of knowledge oriented global supply chain management by adopting the knowledge creation process proposed by Nonaka (1994), and conducted an empirical analysis of what kind of impact the knowledge management system and the knowledge creation process of companies have on the performance of their global supply chain management. The result of the empirical analysis of 113 multinational companies verified the validity and reliability of the measurement model proposed in this study. In addition, the comparative study of the sampled companies by grouping them according to the level of knowledge orientation in global supply chain management indicated that the enterprises that effectively manage the knowledge created within the global supply chain presented overall superiority on the performance of global supply chain management.

This study examines the effects of supply chain search and application strategies on organizational capability and corporate operational performance. To achieve this aim, a survey was administered to middle managers of 298 small- and medium-sized venture companies in Busan, South Korea. Empirical analysis showed that supply chain search and application strategies have a positive effect on organizational capability and corporate operational performance. In addition, organizational capability is positively mediated by supply chain search and application strategies in terms of the mediating effect of corporate operational performance. Consequently, search and application as supply chain strategies are facilitating factors as mediators that improve corporate performance through the concentration of organizational capability. Findings suggest that the search and application of supply chain strategies need to act as accelerating variables that improve organizational performance, and supply chain strategies need to be applied in small- and medium-sized manufacturing businesses.
