Characteristics of Social Service Provision According to the Community Size and Financial Provision Types (지역적 환경과 제도적 특성을 고려한 사회서비스 공급체계 분석)

  • This study investigates the current features of social service provision system focusing on the core institutional traits of the system and community environment. Specifically, the study analyzes the differences in the contents and characteristics of social service provision, according to the community types, such as metropolitan area, medium size cities, and rural area. Also, the study explores the relationships among the three major subsystems in the social service provision system based on the types of financial provisions. Furthermore, the interaction effects between the community factors and financial traits on the relationships among sub- components in the service provision system are investigated. In this study other organizations, service users and public sector are regarded as three major sub-components in the provision system. The study utilizes the raw data from '2015 Social Service Demand and Provision Survey', which interviewed 4,100 social service organizations. Results from analyses show that the gap among metropolitan area, medium cites, and rural area is not so much bigger in the diverse provision features(e.g. the competition level, the major focus on the users, and policy demands on public sector) of provider-provision-organizations than in those of both of user-provision-organization and of market-way-organizations. User-provision organizations show the distinct differences in terms of the focus points on the users, while marketed organizations do in terms of the policy demands to the public sector. In rural area, user-provision organizations act like provider-provision-organizations whereas they do market-way-organizations in the urban area. Research findings show that the social service provision types utilizing market mechanism(such as user-provision, and market-way) are not so well fit into the characteristics of rural area.

  • Trust affects marketing practices and purchasing performance in the context of buying and selling business services. Despite the importance the previous studies on business services have not fully investigated the role of trust and the effects of trust on buying and selling strategies. Additionally in-depth studies exploring the links between trust-strategies-performance have not systematically performed both in domestic and international markets. This study, in the context of purchasing business services, investigates the effect on trust of suppliers' characteristics and relational characteristics between sellers and buyers. This study also explores the effect of trust toward sellers and buyers on purchasing performance. The results of this study should contribute the understanding on the role of trust in purchasing and selling business services. Building and maintaining trust must be one of the major key success factors in the relationship between sellers and buyers of business servies.

  • The purpose of this study is to present SCM as an innovative alternative to domestic feed industry, which seems in urgent need of introducing SCM to get competitive advantages. To fulfill the purpose this study tried to find whether the supply services of Korean feed industry are high contact service or low contact service. The results of this study are summarized as follows. It appeared that the functional qualify supply service quality influenced positively not only on customer satisfaction but also on customer loyalty. That is, it is necessary to improve the functional service qualify of supply practices in order to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. But this study showed that the customer satisfaction did not influence the customer loyalty. And technical quality supply service had a positive effect on customer loyalty but it didn't influence customer satisfaction bur customer loyalty. As the results of this study it is identified that the services of supply practices of the Korean feed industry are tend to be high contact services rather than low contact services. Thus, the Korean feeding firms have to plan the supply strategy for converting the supply service from low contact services to high contact services gradually to get competitive advantages.

  • Supply chain in service sector has been established on the premise that firms need to manage their process uncertainties to satisfy customers in an efficient manner. Information sharing and synchronization play key roles in minimize uncertainties from their involved supply chain. The duality of customers being inputs providers as well as consumers, differentiates service supply chains from manufacturing and is a challenging issue to traditional supply chain management. The service supply chain is a structured network which should be managed with supply chain theory and principles. Various key operations need to be carried out through a highly integrated and collaborated service supply chain and supporting information hub. The purpose of this paper is to present the issues and key components in the service supply chain, where the repetitive service is provided along the value chain, such as tourism, restaurant, mega-sized hospital supply chain.

Development of Priority U-Service Model based on both Provider and Consumer Viewpoint (수요-공급자를 통합한 U-서비스 우선순위 평가모형 개발)

  • 이 연구는 u-City의 성공적 조성을 위해 u-서비스 공급자 측면과 수요자 측면의 요구를 충족할 수 있는 u-서비스 우선순위 선정에 관한 체계적 연구의 필요성에서 시작되었다. u-서비스 우선순위 모형개발을 위해 선행 연구를 토대로 수요자와 공급자의 서비스 결정 요인을 탐색적으로 도출하고, 전문가와의 브레인스토밍을 통해 u-서비스 결정의 확정적 요인을 도출하였다. 도출된 요인들을 계층분석(AHP)모형으로 설정하고, 1차 전문가 설문조사를 통해 요인별 가중치와 우선순위를 도출함으로써 공급자와 수요자를 고려한 u-서비스 우선순위 선정 모형을 제시하였다. 개발된 모형을 바탕으로 2차 전문가 설문조사를 통해 u-지역정보화에서 제시한 대구지역의 특화서비스를 평가하였다. 평가 결과 대구지역은 지역물류 지원서비스, 시각장애인 길안내 서비스, u-텔레매틱스 서비스가 상위권을 차지한 반면, u-지역정보화에서 제시한 안전방재지원서비스와 산업특화거리 등의 서비스는 중위권을 차지하고 있어 공급자 위주의 u-서비스 선정과는 차별성을 보였다. 개발된 u-서비스 우선순위선정 모형은 u-서비스 제공 및 사용의도에 기반한 모형으로 u-서비스 우선순위 선정을 체계적으로 지원할 수 있어 향후 성공적 u-City 조성에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Recently it is important to understand service supply chain because the economy moves from manufacturing to services. However, most of existing supply chain research focuses exclusively on the manufacturing sector. To overcome this situation, it needs to investigate and analyze service supply chain. Simulation is one of the most frequently used techniques for analysis and design of complex system. Service supply chain is complex and large systems that require an accurate designing phase. Especially, it is important to examine closely the dynamically interactive behavior of the different service supply chain components in order to predict the performance of the servcie supply chain. In this paper, we develop a conceptual model of service supply chain. Then, we present a new procedure to develop simulation model for the developed conceptual model of service supply chain, based on the UML analysis and design tools and on the ARENA simulation language. The two main characteristics of the proposed procedure are the definition of a systematic procedure to design service supply chain and of a set of rules for the conceptual model translation in an ARENA simulation language. The goal is to improve the knowledge on service supply chain management and support the simulation model development efficiency on service supply chain.

  • 최근 들어 규제완화가 된 전력산업에는 전력시장과 수요자의 등장으로 전력시스템의 참여구성에서 큰 변화를 보이고 있다. 따라서 일방적인 에너지 공급이 주요 서비스였던 과거와는 달리 시장의 개설과 더불어 전력에너지 공급자가 다수 등장함에 따라 수요자에 대한 서비스의 개발이 필요한 실정이다. 이와 같은 수요자에 대한 서비스들은 전력공급이외에 수요자에게 제공할 수 있는 부가서비스를 의미한다. 따라서 수요자가 요구하는 전력 부가서비스의 개발은 다수가 존재하는 공급자에게 경쟁력 제고를 위한 필수요소가 될 수 있다. 현재 전력시장이 활성화된 해외의 경우에는 여러 가지의 부가서비스를 개발하고 있고 또한 운영도 하고 있다. 그러나 국내의 경우에는 아직 수요자를 위한 서비스의 제공보다는 전력시스템의 운영을 위한 신뢰도 기반의 공급자위주의 제한적인 서비스만이 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 수요자를 요구사항을 만족하고 또한 부가가치를 창출 할 수 있는 진정한 전력 부가서비스는 아직 개발되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 향후 전력서비스 제공시 경쟁력 제고의 필수 요소가 될 수 있는 부가서비스의 개발을 하기 위한 기반 구축을 위한 수요자의 서비스 관련 요구 및 필요사항을 조사 분석 하였다.

Comparative Study on Perception Difference about Importance of Quality factors in Logistics Service in Supply Chain Partnership (공급사슬 파트너십에서 물류서비스 품질 요소의 중요도 지각 차이 비교)

  • Today, researches on logistics service quality or supply chain management are highlighted due to intensification of competition and diversification of needs for customer service. This study have done a comparative analysis on supply chain partnership members' perception difference about importance of logistics service quality factors. It measured perception about logistics service quality which suppliers, carriers, and buyers regard as important and then conducted t-test in order to compare perception difference. It was found that quality factors of logistic service which suppliers, carriers, and buyers in supply chain partnership perceive as important were different. And disagreements among members were found in most items when market orientation and long term orientation was low while there was no difference among most members when market orientation and long term orientation was high.

Economic Values of Freshwater Ecosystem Services from Demand and Supply Perspectives (수요 및 공급측면에서 평가한 하천 생태계서비스의 경제적 가치)

  • This study aims to estimate the values of freshwater ecosystem services from demand and supply perspectives. From demand side, unit-values of ecosystem services are derived from Environmental Valuation Information System (EVIS) and aggregated to 5 main watersheds in Korea. The derived unit-values are based on the willingness to pay estimates per household from stated preference methods. The nation-wide average total values of water quantity supply, water purification, and natural disaster control are estimated as 501.2, 410.4, and 242.4 billion won/year, respectively. From supply side, we examine the direct and indirect public expenditures (or investment) in 2013 to improve freshwater ecosystem services by the government. The total sum of government expenditures corresponds to 8,882 billion won in 2013, where 12.9, 81.3, 0.3 and 5.3% are spent to improve provisioning, regulating, supporting and cultural services, respectively, indicating that most efforts are concentrated in enhancing regulating services.
