Semi-automatic Data Fusion Method for Spatial Datasets (공간 정보를 가지는 데이터셋의 준자동 융합 기법)

  • With the development of big data-related technologies, it has become possible to process vast amounts of data that could not be processed before. Accordingly, the establishment of an automated data selection and fusion process for the realization of big data-based services has become a necessity, not an option. In this paper, we propose an automation technique to create meaningful new information by fusing datasets containing spatial information. Firstly, the given datasets are embedded by using the Node2Vec model and the keywords of each dataset. Then, the semantic similarities among all of datasets are obtained by calculating the cosine similarity for the embedding vector of each pair of datasets. In addition, a person intervenes to select some candidate datasets with one or more spatial identifiers from among dataset pairs with a relatively higher similarity, and fuses the dataset pairs to visualize them. Through such semi-automatic data fusion processes, we show that significant fused information that cannot be obtained with a single dataset can be generated.

  • In this paper, big data analysis method was used to find out global trends in autonomous driving and to derive activate spatial information services. The applied big data was used in conjunction with news articles and patent document in order to analysis trend in news article and patents document data in spatial information. In this paper, big data was created and key words were extracted by using LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) based on the topic model in major news on autonomous driving. In addition, Analysis of spatial information and connectivity, global technology trend analysis, and trend analysis and prediction in the spatial information field were conducted by using WordNet applied based on key words of patent information. This paper was proposed a big data analysis method for predicting a trend and future through the analysis of the connection between the autonomous driving field and spatial information. In future, as a global trend of spatial information in autonomous driving, platform alliances, business partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture establishment, standardization and technology development were derived through big data analysis.

  • With the rise of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and I-Korea 4.0, both of which pursue strategies for industrial innovation and for the solution to social problems, the real estate industry needs to change in order to make effective use of available space in smart environments. The implementation of smart spaces is a promising solution for this. The smart space is defined as a good use of space, whether it be a home, office, or retail store, within a smart environment. To enhance the use of smart spaces, efficient decision-making and well-timed and accurate interaction are required. This paper proposes a smart space based on platform which takes advantage of emerging technologies for the efficient storage, processing, analysis, and utilization of big data. The platform is composed of six layers - collection, transfer, storage, service, application, and management - and offers three service frameworks: activity-based, market-based, and policy-based. Based on these smart space services, decision-makers, consumers, clients, and social network participants can make better decisions, respond more quickly, exhibit greater innovation, and develop stronger competitive advantages.

  • With sensor and communication technology development, spatial data related to business activities is exploding. Spatial data is now evolving into atypical data about space over three dimensions, away from two-dimensional geographic data. In addition to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which connects the virtual space with the real space, there is a great opportunity for companies to utilize it. The analysis of recent overseas cases shows that it is possible to analyze customized services by understanding the situation of customers and objects located in the space, to manage risk, and furthermore to innovate business processes by analyzing spatial data. In the future, business innovation that combines spatial data from various sources and real-time analysis of relationships and situations between people and objects in space is expected to expand in all business fields.

A Study Suggesting the Development Direction of the Next Generation Digital Library (차세대디지털도서관의 발전방향논의에 관한 연구)

  • This study proposes to identify digital library services applying cutting-edge technologies, and attempt to investigate the applicability of these technologies and services to domestic libraries. To this end, we reviewed main research which discusses next generation digital libraries, and examined thoroughly main technologies which can be applied to future libraries. As a result, the core technologies, concepts, and tools of the next generation of digital library are: cloud services, space for infinite creating (makerspace), big data, augmented reality, context-aware technologies, Google-glass, a revolutionary display technology, open linked-content-offering method, and so on. Specific cases of libraries already utilizing these technologies are also discussed.

A Big Data Analysis Methodology for Examining Emerging Trend Zones Identified by SNS Users: Focusing on the Spatial Analysis Using Instagram Data (SNS 사용자에 의해 형성된 트렌드 중심지 도출을 위한 빅 데이터 분석 방법론 연구: 인스타그램 데이터 활용 공간분석을 중심으로)

  • Emerging hotspot and trendy areas are formed into alleys and blocks with the help of viral effects among social network services (SNS) users called "Golmogleo." These users search for every corner of the alleys to share and promote their own favorite places through SNS. An analysis of hot places is limited if it is only based on macroeconomic indicators such as commercial area data published by national organizations, large-scale visiting facilities, and commuter figures. Careful analyses based on consumers' actual activities are needed. This study develops a "social big data analysis methodology" using Instagram data, which is one of the most popular SNSs suitable to identify recent consumer trends. We build a spatial analysis model using Local Moran's I. Results show that our model identifies new trend zones on the basis of posting data in Instagram, which are not included in the commercial information prepared by national organizations. The proposed analysis methodology enables better identification of the latest trend areas formulated by SNS user activities. It also provides practical information for start-ups, small business owners, and alley merchants for marketing purposes. This analytical methodology can be applied to future studies on social big data analysis.

  • Globally, mobile, cloud computing or big data are the recent marketable key terms. These trend technologies or paradigm in the ICT (Information Communication Technology) fields exert large influence on the most application fields including geo-spatial applications. Among them, cloud computing, though the early stage in Korea now, plays a important role as a platform for other trend technologies uses. Especially, mobile cloud, an integrated platform with mobile device and cloud computing can be considered as a good solution to overcome well known limitations of mobile applications and to provide more information processing functionalities to mobile users. This work is a case study to design and implement the mobile application system for geo-spatial image filtering processing operated on mobile cloud platform built using OpenStack and various open sources. Filtering processing is carried out using R environment, recently being recognized as one of big data analysis technologies. This approach is expected to be an element linking geo-spatial information for new service model development and the geo-spatial analysis service development using R.

  • 본 논문은 기존의 도시개발정책에서 경제적 관점에서 가치의 중심을 두었다면 4차산업혁명시대에는 서비스적 가치변환을 추구하고 있다. 시공간을 공유하는 사람 중심의 공간 서비스요, 가치의 용광로가 메타버스라고 한다면, 오징어게임과 같은 게임이론이 접목된 도시의 미래상을 고려할 필요가 있다. 4차산업 기술과 서비스가 사회로 침투되면서 도시의 공간 인프라, 동산 부동산, 객체들을 물리적공간과 가상공간에서 인공지능과 빅데이터 분석이 개입된 각종 형태와 형식의 컨텐츠가 입체적으로 생동감을 얻게 되었다. 특히, 코로나19을 맞아 메타버스기반 서비스가 대중들에게도 접근하기 시작하면서 지금까지 경험하지 못했던 메타버스 시민의 역할에 대한 필요성이 대두하게 되었다. 4차산업혁명시대의 스마트도시, 메타버스와 게임이론을 연구하였다.

  • This paper studies desirable form of future e-government in terms of intelligent government research in response to new intelligent cyber security services in the fourth industrial revolution. Also, the strategic planning of the future e-government has been contemplated in terms of the centralization and intellectualization which are significant characteristics of the fourth industrial revolution. The new system construction which is applied with security analysis technology using big data through advanced relationship analysis is suggested in the paper. The establishment of the system, such as SIEM(Security Information & Event Management), which anticipatively detects security threat by using log information through big data analysis is suggested in the paper. Once the suggested system is materialized, it will be possible to expand big data object, allow centralization in terms of e-government security in the fourth industrial revolution, boost data process, speed and follow-up response, which allows the system to function anticipatively.
