An Analysis on the Spatial Pattern of Local Safety Level Index Using Spatial Autocorrelation - Focused on Basic Local Governments, Korea (공간적 자기상관을 활용한 지역안전지수의 공간패턴 분석 - 기초지방자치단체를 중심으로)

  • Risk factors that threaten public safety such as crime, fire, and traffic accidents have spatial characteristics. Since each region has different dangerous environments, it is necessary to analyze the spatial pattern of risk factors for each sector such as traffic accident, fire, crime, and living safety. The purpose of this study is to analyze the spatial distribution pattern of local safety level index, which act as an index that rates the safety level of each sector (traffic accident, fire, crime, living safety, suicide, and infectious disease) for basic local governments across the nation. The following analysis tools were used to analyze the spatial autocorrelation of local safety level index : Global Moran's I, Local Moran's I, and Getis-Ord's G⁎i. The result of the analysis shows that the distribution of safety level on traffic accidents, fire, and suicide tends to be more clustered spatially compared to the safety level on crime, living safety, and infectious disease. As a result of analyzing significant spatial correlations between different regions, it was found that the Seoul metropolitan areas are relatively safe compared to other cities based on the integrated index of local safety. In addition, hot spot analysis using statistical values from Getis-Ord's G⁎i derived three hot spots(Samchuck, Cheongsong-gun, and Gimje) in which safety-vulnerable areas are clustered and 15 cold spots which are clusters of areas with high safety levels. These research findings can be used as basic data when the government is making policies to improve the safety level by identifying the spatial distribution and the spatial pattern in areas with vulnerable safety levels.

A Study on Spatial Neutron Kinetics of a Pressurized Water Reactor (가압경수로의 공간의존적 핵적동특성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this work is to present a spatial neutron kinetics computational scheme for the analysis of space-dependent transients like rod ejection accident of pressurized water reactors. In this work modified Borresen's 1.5 group coarse mesh scheme was formulated for the neutronic computation of the space-dependent transients and applied to the analysis of hypothetical rod ejection accident of KNU no. 1 PWR core at BOC, HZP. The computational accuracy of the modified Borresen's scheme is examined by comparing calculations for core power and control rod worths with startup core physics test results. Effects of such parameters as ejected rod worths and number of delayed neution group ell transient results as well as computational efficiency are also examined. OB this basis it is suggested that the modified Borresen's method is a useful scheme for the analysis of spatial neutron transients of PWR's.

Drawing Elements of Inquiry in Field Geology and Analyzing Field Geology Education in Previous Studies (야외 지질학 탐구 요소 추출 및 지질 답사 교육 문헌 분석)

  • This study is a research synthesis analyzing how field geology education is conducted in domestic and foreign countries in the recent 20 years and how it reflects the characteristics of authentic geologic inquiry. For these purposes, we first drew five elements of inquiry in field geology (observation, representation, abductive reasoning, spatial thinking, and diachronic thinking) considering the field geologists' actual research method as well as its pedagogical significance in science education. We developed analysis criteria for field geology education. The 53 cases were analyzed based on each element of inquiry in field geology and its sub-elements, and also the tendency of overall elements. As a result, observation and representation were included in most cases, but there appeared less frequency in order of abductive reasoning, spatial thinking, and diachronic thinking. For observation, the ratio of purposive observation and autonomous observation is high. For representation, both visualizing and linguistic type of representation and free-form representation appear frequently. For abductive reasoning, the step of generating hypothesis is often included and the hypothesis tends to be about the geological formatting process. For spatial thinking, type of self-location and perception of the spatial configuration of the structure appear at a high rate. For diachronic thinking, type of stratigraphic sequence is the most frequent. The proportions of the cases including three or more elements of inquiry in field geology consist 87% of the total. We suggested implications for improving geological fieldwork as authentic science inquiry in the future.

세월호 해양사고 대응지원 소개 및 원인분석 방향

  • 우리나라에서 2014년 4월 16일 발생한 세월호 침몰과 관련하여, 수색과 구조에 필요한 수온 등의 해양환경정보를 인공위성을 통해 획득하였고, 매일 이 자료를 제공하였다. 또한 세월호 전복으로 발생한 기름 유출의 공간적 현황을 파악하고 대응하기 위한 유출유 현황자료를 지속적으로 제공하였다. 또한 해양오염 피해 대응을 위해 어장정보에 대한 제공도 하였다. 이번 사고에 대한 경위를 검토, 그 원인분석의 필요성과 방향, 그리고 대응지원 사례를 중심으로 소개하고자 하며, 자세한 사항은 학술대회에서 발표하고자 한다.

Verifying the Voluntariness of the Location of Drunk Driving Accidents (음주운전사고 발생위치의 임의성 검증)

  • The cases of drunk driving accidents have been steadily increasing every year. The number of accidents was quadrupled from 7,303 cases in 1990 to 25,150 cases in 2004. In addition, the proportion of drunk driving accidents to total traffic accidents was 2.9% in 1990 but it increased to 13.0% in 2003. Studies of drunk driving accidents have been focusing on analyzing psychological decisive factors, classifying drivers' individual characters and types of drunk driving accidents by considering the location of drunk driving accidents. This study assumed that drunk driving accidents would have regular characteristics in respect to spatiality and analyzed its relation with spatial factors such as, accident black spot, the location of bars, the distance of drivers' houses, and spatio-temporal distributional characteristics through drawing density distribution and connecting the time of accidents. In order to achieve the goal of this study, the individual location information was organized and drawn as types of GIS data. From the result of density distribution using Kernel Density Mapping and analysis through the coefficient of areal correspondence, it was understood that drunk driving accidents correlates with some spatial factors.

  • This study developed a traffic accident information management system based on WebGIS that can process a lot of data for giving effectively diagnosis of traffic accidents in serious damage circumstances by traffic accident. Also, this study presents a way to compose and to convey traffic accident information. In addition, non-spatial attributes as well as spatial attributes about traffic accidents information be integrated and managed by the system. To provide Web service, we developed modules that can supply visually spatial information and traffic accidents data through ASP, Javascript, ArcIMS based on Web and constructed a server. And constructed system include a function that offer the now situation of traffic accident in real time, which supply the statistical data of traffic accident through Web as soon as user entry data in comparison with previous way that preparatory period until traffic accidents data is supplied to peoples had been long. Traffic accidents are analyzed with only nonspatial attribute by simply collecting in the past. However, system constructed by this study offer new function that can grasp visually accident spot circumstance and use detailed content and accurate location data as well as statistical data of traffic accidents. Also, it offer interface that can connect directly with accident charge policeman.

  • This thesis concentrates on modern design with understanding the ooncept of design thinking. Functionalism and exactness in design result from the project that modern design attempted to change everyday life with mechanical design language. There is thought to be convenient and profitable, to link a function and a need, to make something with building-up process, and to give judgement something by dualism in the other side. That thoughts were produced by not only transition of production system from by hand to by machine but also atmosphere of society that enables one to know himself as a member of modern age.

  • 최근 딥러닝은 도로 CCTV 동영상의 교통사고 검출에 널리 사용되지만 일인칭 동영상의 교통사고 검출은 분명히 어렵다. 일인칭 동영상은 역동적이고 시야가 제한되어 있기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 일인칭 동영상을 분석하여 교통사고를 검출하는 방법을 제시한다. 이 방법은 교통 표현 특성을 분석하는 것 외에도 의미를 이해하고 교통 장면을 인코딩한다. 프레임의 표현 특징은 각 프레임 상의 물체의 특징과 물체의 위치 관계의 공간적 숨겨진 특진을 학습함으로써 얻어진다. 그 후에 프레임 표현 특징과 교통 장면의 특징이 연결되어 GRU 실행기에 공급된다. 여러 GRU 실행기는 분석한 후 사고가 발생했는지 확인된다. 이 방법은 높은 역학과 제한된 시야 문제를 효과적으로 해결한다.

  • 직격뢰에 대한 피뢰보호방식으로 일반의 피뢰침 설비가 널리 설치되어 있으나 완전한 피뢰보호공간이 확보되지 않기 때문에 보호공간내에서도 실제적인 낙뢰사고가 다수 발생하고 있으며 이에 대비하여 광범위한 보호공간을 확보하고 더욱 완벽한 능동적 보호성능을 가지는 피뢰침설비가 요구되고 있는 실정이다.
