측면 충돌시 승객의 안전확보를 위한 미국 및 유럽의 법규 제정 과정과 배경을 살펴보고 이 두 법규를 비교하였다. 또한 이들 신 법규에 대응한 신차 개발을 위하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 같은 해석 기법을 이용시 개발 비용의 절감은 물론 개발기간도 단출할 수 있음을 보이고 미국 법규에 따른 해석 사례를 소개하였다. 정적 도어 구조 강성 해석의 경우 시험값과 평균적으로 10% 내의 오차를 보여주었다. 또한 동적 측면 충돌 해석 결과는 시험값과 비교하여 이동 대차 중심, 우측 B-필라하단 및 운전석 도어 중심에서의 Y-방향 속도의 경우 평균적으로 약 5% 차이를 보였으며 운전석 더미의 상해치는 골반 가속도의 경우 약 30%, 흉부 상해치의 경우 약 4%차이를 보여주었다. 이러한 해석 기술의 발달은 해석 결과와 시험결과 사이의 차이를 더욱 줄일 것으로 기대되며 이를 효과적으로 이용시 시작차의 제작비 및 시험비 절감 및 개발기간 단축을 가져와 자동차 설계분야의 국제경쟁력을 높이는 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

Pain from pelvic cancer is very difficult to manage because it's vague ness and bilateral nature. Furthermore, nerve blocks in this area are dangerous because sensory afferent nerves from pelvic viscera are adjacent to nerves that regulate bowel and bladder control, and motor nerve of lower extremities'. Bilateral lumbar sympathectomy has been used for malignant pelvic pain with little risk of neurologic complication. However it is not a specific block for pelvic visceral pain, because the lumbar sympathetic chain does not innervate pelvic viscera in a direct manner. Therefore the potentials of lumbar sympathectomy for pelvic visceral pain are attributed to caudad diffusion of neurolytic agents to the smperior hypogastric plexus. I have experienced 3 cases of superior hypogastric plexus neurolysis per se without any significant complications.

The correlation between mobility abnormalities and positional findings(pelvic asymmetry) is essential for complete pelvic girdle evaluation. For mobility tests, there are four tests include : 1. Standing forward bending test. 2. Seated forward bending test. 3. Posterior anterior sacral pressures. 4. Kinetic test. To determine specific pelvic dysfunction, positional findings should bo assessed with bony land-marks. According to the assessment findings, the suggested order of treatment is as follows. 1. Pubic malalignment 2. Sacroiliac dysfunction. 3. Iliosacral dysfunction. Many of the pelvic dysfunctions will respond to the simplified approach as shown in this paper but some dysfunctions will require more specific treatment.

본 논문에서는 X-ray 영상에서 척추 영역을 추출 및 분석하여 척추만곡도를 자동으로 측정하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 X-ray 영상에서 어깨뼈와 골반뼈 등과 같이 필요 없는 영역을 제거한 ROI(Region of Interest) 영역을 추출하고, 추출된 ROI 영역에서 척추 에지를 검출하기 위해 가우시안-라플라시안(Laplacian of Gaussian) 필터를 적용하여 척추 에지를 검출한다. 추출된 척추 영역을 척추의 Apex를 기준으로 Above Apex와 Below Apex 영역으로 구분하고 허프 변환(Hough Transform) 기법을 적용하여 두 영역에 대한 ($r,{\theta}$) 허프 공간을 구한다. ($r,{\theta}$) 허프 공간에서 척추만곡도 측정에 필요한 수평 직선만을 검출하기 위하여 수직 직선을 나타내는 교점들의 영역을 제거하여 척추만곡도 측정에 필요한 영역을 추출한다. 제안된 척추 추출 방법을 다양한 X-ray 영상을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 전문의가 척추만곡도를 효과적으로 측정하고 분석할 수 있는 척추 영역이 추출된 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Korean Medicine therapy to chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Methods: A 34 years old woman, who suffered from chronic pelvic inflammatory disease was admitted to the OBGY department of Se-Myung University, Je-Cheon. In the beginning of treatment, she had pain and cold in the lower abdomen, dysuria, displeasure of sexual intercourse, etc. She received Korean Medicine therapies such as herbal medicine, moxibustion, acupuncture and got good result from them. Results: As a result, symptoms are remarkably alleviated. Conclusion: The present study suggests that Korean Medicine therapies have significant effect on chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.

Pelvic actinomyces, usually a complication of an intrauterine device, is uncommon and may present a diagnostic dilemma because of an atypical clinical presentation. This organism is very difficult to culture, and most actinomyces is actually identified by histologic feature in pathologic specimens. Authors have experienced a case of pelvic actinomycosis associated with an intrauterine device and reported with a review of literatures.

Objectives : The objective of this study was to report a effectiveness of meridian tendino-musculature acupuncture on the pelvic pain and dysuria in a patient with chronic prostatitis. Methods : A patient with Pelvic pain and Dysuria was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion. Before and After treatment we measured International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS), National Institutes of Health-Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index(NIH-CPSI) and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS). Results : International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS), National Institutes of Health -Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index(NIH-CPSI) and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) scores were decreased considerably after 14 times treatment. Conclusions : It was suggesting that symptoms(pelvic pain and dysuria) of chronic prostatitis could be improved by acupuncture and moxibustion treatment in the view of the meridian tendino- musculature acupuncture.

Objectives : We evaluated the effect of Mckenzie method treatment by participating two patients suffering from Tortipelvis by lumbar disc herniation. Methods : Two patients were diagnosed as Tortipelvis by lumbar disc herniation through CT scan and X-ray examination. We used Mckenzie method and measured VAS(Visual analogue scale). Results and Conclusions : After using Mckenzie method treatment, We found out a recovery from both patients suffering from Tortipelvis by lumbar disc herniation. The result, through our study, suggests that Mckenzie method treatment was effective to cure the Tortipelvis by lumbar disc herniation. It also was effective to reduce the low back pain and to stabilize the lumbar disc herniation.

Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation(PNF), pelvic patterns are very important for orthopaedic and neurologic patient. It is an essential treatment techniques for motor developmental disorder. CVA, lumbar disk, muscle weekness and pain control of lumbar, pelvic and lower extremity, Pelvic patterns of PNP has 4 different type of basic pattern. each of them is combinding of movement plane and functional movement. Biomechanically most of PNF patterns are a concentric contraction with third-class lever. But the movement pattern have a technique of combination of isotonic that should make a eccentric contraction with second-class lever.

The use of AFO in the management of patients with hemiplegia has been somewhat controversial. The purpose of the study was to identify the influence of the plastic ankle foot orthoses(AFO) on the characteristics of pelvic tilt in the patients with hemiplegia. Sixteen hemiplegic patients participated. The angle of pelvic tilt were measured using the BROM II . Results showed that the hemiplegia who weared plastic AFO, the angle of pelvic tilt was significantly less than not weared subjects. However. duration of wearing a plastic AFO and the degree of spasticity were not affected to the angle of pelvic tilt. Therefore the patients with hemiplegia should consider using the brace for the right purpose, also need to maintain the mobility of ankle joint while wearing the plastic AFO.
