極小 Energy 定理와 그 應용 II

  • 이상에서 potential energy의 극소조건을 각종경우에 적용하여 재료역학의 해 또는 변형의 근사 해를 응용 예들을 통하여 구해 보았다. 이 해법은 을 받은 부재, 보(beam) 또는 순수 비틀림을 받는 엔형봉재의 경우, 부정정 문제에서 그 지지점들에서의 반력요소를 생각할 필요가 없기 때 문에 재료 역학적인 해법보다 더 간편하게 구해지고 있는 것을 볼 수가 있다. 또 보의 처짐 곡 선이 길이의 중앙면에 대하여 좌우 대칭형일 때에, 중앙단면에서의 최대처짐을 구하는데 삼각 함수의 근사처짐 곡선을 설정하므로써 실제 엄밀해에 가까운 근사값이 간단하게 구해질 수 있는 것을 보였다. 이 극소에너지 정리는 엔형단면이 아닌 각종 단면봉재의 비틀림 문제에서도 비틀림 응력함수를 도입하고, 경제조전을 만족하는 근사공력 함수방정식을 가정함으로써 간단하게 그 근사해를 구하는 데까지 직장할 수가 있다.

  • 승용차나 소형승합차에는 현가장치의 스프링으로 코일스프링을 많이 사용하고 있으며 최근 들어 승차감의 상을 위해 변위의 증가와 함께 스프링 정수가 증가하는 경화 특성 스프링(hardening type spring)을 많이 채택하고 있는데, 이 특성을 나타낼 수 있는 방법 중 하나가 등반경-테이퍼 소재의 코일스프링이다. 이 논문에서는 주어진 차량조건으로부터 이상적인 스프링 특성곡선을 계산하고 이 곡선을 분할하여 직선의 연결로 근사시켜 분할한 수만큼의 직선적 특성의 스프링으로 직렬 연결되어 있다고 가정하여 이 곡선에 근접된 특성을 가지는 등반경-테이퍼 소재 코일 스프링의 설계방법을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 디지털 음악 도서관에서 입력된 음성을 인식하여 생성한 음곡선에 의해 임의의 음악정보를 효율적으로 검색하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 종래의 전형적인 음악정보 검색 항목인 제목이나 작곡자 또는 주제를 입력하는 것이 아니라, 사용자가 음악 데이터베이스로부터 검색하고자 하는 음악의 일부를 마이크를 통해서 노래한다. 그러면 입력된 음성에 대한 음 신호를 처리하여 음표정보를 인식하고, 이를 바탕으로 음정 곡선을 생성하여 이를 탐색 패턴으로 사용한다. 제안한 검색 알고리즘은 일반적으로 근사 탐색을 위해 많이 사용하는 동적 프로그래밍 방법과 함께 실험을 통해 탐색 시간을 비교하여 향상된 탐색 시간을 보인다.

  • In this paper, we suggest a feature points selection method using block-based watershed segmentation and polygon approximation for preprocessing of MPEG-4 mesh generation. 2D natural image is segmented by 8$\times$8 or 4$\times$4 block classification method and watershed algorithm. As this result, pixels on the watershed lines represent scene's interior feature and this lines are shapes of closed contour. Continuous pixels on the watershed lines are selected out feature points using Polygon approximation and post processing.

  • In this paper, based on the measured data of hull deflection, an approximated hull deflection curve is drawn using reverse analyzed hull deflection data and the estimation method for flexibility analysis of shaft alignment is proposed by use of the approximate hull deflection curve. Generally an offset value of after stern tube bearing is a datum point with an fore stern tube bearing however the shaft alignment has a tendency which is able to get higher flexibility if the shafting system has the deflection value from after stern tube bearing as reference to bottom direction according to results of on this study. By applying this result of study, the shaft alignment for next similar ships will be able to estimate how to follow the hull deflection and how to be influenced by hull deflection at shaft alignment analysis state using the approximated hull deflection curve.

  • In the present study, a new method of generating a nearly orthogonal boundary-fitted coordinate systems with automatic grid spacing control is introduced. Applications of the method to a two dimensional simply-connected region is then demonstrated. The nearly orthogonal boundary-fitted method has the following features, (a) Strong grid control in the .eta.-direction can be made, (b) The generated boundary-fitted coordinates are nearly orthoronal, (c) Both the .xi.-and .eta.-direction control function are mathematically derived. Especially the .eta.-direction control function is derived under the assumption that the .eta.-direction grid spacing is by far smaller than the .xi.-direction grid spacing when the .eta.-direction grid line is strongly clustered. (d) The grid control functions are dynamically adjusted by the metric scale factors imposed on the boundary. The control function is fully automatic and eliminates the need of user manipulation of the control function.

  • Because some systems limit the supported maximal degree, the degree reduction of NURBS is necessary in Parametric curves and surfaces of the different geometric modeling systems. Therefore an approximate degree reduction method of NURBS curves was introduced in this research. Also the existing Eck's B$\'{e}$zier degree reduction method and knot removal algorithm were used to reduce data in the degree reduction process. Finally we found that this method was stable, efficient for implementations, and easy to use algorithms.

  • In this paper, we will discuss the characteristics of the magnitude and the phase of the piano sound in frequency domain by using the FFT(Fast Fourier Transform). The method deciding the parameters representing those sounds through the mathematical model is described. We used the curve fitting method for the modeling of the harmonic part of the sound including the fundamental frequency in order to minimize the errors between original sounds and modeled sounds. furthermore, we used the line segment approximation method for the modeling of the noise part around fundamental frequency. We also applied the same method for the phase model and could get the modeled sound to be similar to the original sound using the parameters. Therefore the high compression ratio comparing the modeled sound to the original sound is achieved.

  • We predict the unknown cannon tube erosion rate by using observed values of the standard cannon, 155mm Howitzer Ml85. We know the standard cannon's ten erosion observation values each 400 rounds. An approximate formula fitting the erosion values of the standard cannon has been derived. Numerical simulation applying this formula to the Rauf Imam's erosion equations is presented.

  • This paper describes an informatlon compression of electrically evoked myoelectric signal, M-wave. This wave shows a direct response m lato-response of nerve conductlQn study and has a characteristic with finite time support. M-wave is a useful factor for investing neurodi~ease and is often desirable to have a compact description of its shape and time evolution. The aim of this paper is to show that the AR modeling IS a effective method for compressing an information of M-wave. First, AR model parameters of real M-wave are estimated. And then. they are verified by approximatmg a M-wave using estimated AR parameters and by comparing to other melhod, Hermite tlansform[4]. To concretely evaluate the proposed method, the NMSE(normalized mean square error) of approximation curves are compared. As a result, AR modeling is effective for M-wave assessment because of its capability for the information compression.
