This study collected 328 self-reporting questionnaires from the married middle-aged women residing in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Daejeon province to explore the mediating effects between distress tolerance and rumination in the relations of life stress and depression. SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 were used to analyze descriptive statistics, correlation, and structural equation. Following is the summarizaton of the study. First, the life stress showed a significant positive correlation with rumination and depression, and meaningful negative correlation wiith distress tolerance. Also, it showed negative correlation with distress tolerance and rumination. Second, each distress tolerance and rumination showed meaningful mediating effects in the relations of life stress and depression. Third, dual mediating effect of distress tolerance and rumination is showed meaningful in the relations of life stress and depression. Based on the results above, we verified that three variables, life stress, distress tolerance and rumination, affect depression significantly in married middle-aged women and discussed the significance of this result, limitations and suggestions for future studies.

A few studies have examined the relationship between living arrangements and mental health status among older Korean immigrants in the United States and older Koreans in South Korea. This study attempts to fill this gap by conducting a comparative study to understand the relationship between living arrangements and psychological distress. Survey data from older Koreans between the ages of 60 and 79 from the two countries (N= 480) was analyzed descriptively and in hierarchical multiple regressions. This study found that among older Korean immigrants in the United States 26.4 % of those living alone and 7.3 % of those living with a spouse only reported 'severe' psychological distress while their counterparts in South Korea 20.0 % of those living alone and 20.6 % of those living with a spouse only reported 'severe' psychological distress. The hierarchical multivariate analysis reveled that older Koreans living alone are not significant predictor of psychological distress in both countries. Interestingly, older Korean immigrants living with a spouse only and living with others are significant predictors of psychological distress. This study also contributes to the existing literature by searching for diverse conditions that lead to mental health problems among older Koreans in both countries.

This paper explains how the exile experience and the writer's consciousness were presented in Namhaemungyeonrok and Bukgwannojeongrok, both written by Yu, Eui-yang in the 18th century. He was banished to Namhae island and Jongseong because of the King Yeongjo's anger. The author composed his writings by presenting historic events and tales related to the places he was passing, and by presenting poems as well. It means that the author tried to understand these places through history and literary works. Moreover he presented in detail, the lives of people living in the places of his exile. It shows how he tried to understand and recognize their lives as they themselves did. In addition, focusing on the relationships and conversations with the people from each place, the author described his life in exile. There are some reasons he presented his exile experience in the ways mentioned above. First, he was a government official and a writer. Second, as the reason for his banishment was not very significant, he felt relaxed more or less. Last, by focusing on his journey and the place of his exile, he was able to forget the agony he was facing to some degree.

큰 사고가 일어날 때마다 '안전관리는 그 무엇보다도 중요하다'라고 강조하지만 우리나라 안전 관리의 현 상황은 열악하다고 할 수밖에 없다. 많은 중소기업이나 심지어 대기업에서도 무의식적 으로 등한시하거나 별로 크게 중요하게 여기는 것 같지는 않은 데, 이것은 현재의 사고발생율과 강도율들을 살펴 보면 누구나 쉽게 공감할 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 맥락에서 이 논문은 안전의 또 하나의 사각지대인 호텔관련업에서의 종사원들은 과연안전에 대하여 어떤 사고방식을 가지고 있으며, 실제 그들의 안전사고는 어떤 것들이며, 안전교육의 효과는 어떠한 가 등을 중점적으로 연구하였다. 실증적 분석에서는 안전관리가 어떻게 이루어 지고 있는 가에 대한 설문조사를 통하여 조사분석하였다. 조사 표본대상으로는 우리나라의 특급 호텔4개와 1개의 콘도미니엄 종사원들을 대상으로 하여 설문지를 배포하여 총 207명에 대한 답변을 토대로 분석을 하였다. 부상내용은 칼종류에 베임이 제일 많았으며, 안전사고의 주원인은 불안전한 자세와 불안전한 행동으로서 이에 대한 교육이 요구된다. 직업과 관련된 육체적 고통으로는 만성피로가 가장 많았다. 그외 구두가 발에 피로감을 주지말 것, 주방의 미끄럼방지, VDT증후군예방, 안전체조 및 구호복창 등의 사항들을 안전사고 예방을 위해 주의해야할 사항으로 요약할 수 있다.

대한민국의 교통 혼잡 비용은 2018년 기준 67조 원으로 국내총생산(GDP)의 3.6%를 차지하고 있다. 또한 국민 교통 고통지수는 매년 상승하고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 인구 밀집도가 가장 높은 서울시의 교통 혼잡 문제를 해결하기 위해 빅데이터 분석을 통한 효과적인 정책을 제공하고자 한다. 국가 표준 링크 아이디(LINK_ID)와 노드 아이디(NODE_ID)를 통해 위도 경도 데이터를 추출하고, 정체성이 높은 도로를 시각화해 추려진 특성과 공통점을 파악한다. 이를 토대로 정체성을 낮출 방안을 제공하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the deeper meaning of the experience to explore the essence of latter-aged elderly suicide attempt. To this end, by applying the technology of Giorgi phenomenology to focus on the nature of the experience was described reveal the structure of the developing. By targeting eight people aged 75 years and over in Seoul experience with suicide attempts, open the data was collected through in-depth interviews, participants were analyzed on the basis of the aforesaid materials result, late of suicide in elderly seniors experience semantics was putting down that long for the comfort at the crossroads of life. Analysis of six components were derived 'regrets the harsh years', 'desperate and pathetic beholden', 'useless worthless life', 'body of unbearable pain and lethargy', 'no place to lean loneliness', 'the last select'. Discuss these findings the suicide problem of latter-aged elderly suicide attempt, based on experience and in-depth, Elderly mental health and social welfare presented the practical implications for suicide prevention.

This research is to study the economical, psychsocial, physical pains of the elderly mens living alone and the process being out of the isolated life. From this, we expect to propose a supportive program to help the living alone of the elderly mens. Six of the elderly mens living alone joined this research and the hermeneutical grounded theory methodology was applied to interpret it. Data were collected by the depth interview and various written records and they were analyzed by Rennie(2007)'s methodology. We could construct 13 categories by analyzing and categorizing meaningful units of the data. The core theme of the living alone experience was presented as "Accepting self-existence forgotten in the swamp of isolation and preparing for the blessed death." Based upon the research outcomes, we suggested a social supportive program considering the elderly men's characters and a way to improve the accessibility to the therapy system for the elderly mens living alone and the need for a meaning therapy.

Since surgical treatment of the spine should overcome neurological compromises, the operative procedures need to be carefully planned and carried out with high degree of precision. Percutaneous vertebroplasty is a surgical procedure that was introduced for the treatment of compression fracture of the vertebrae. This procedure includes puncturing vertebrae and filling with polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). Recent studies have shown that the procedure could provide structural reinforcement for the osteoporotic vertebrae while being minimally invasive and safe with immediate relief of pain. However, failures of treatment due to excessive PMMA volume injection have been reported as one of complications in vertebroplasty. It is believed that the control of PMMA volume is one of the most critical factors that can reduce the incidence of complications. Therefore, clinical success of vertebroplasty can be dependent on the volume of PMMA injection for a given patient. In this study, the optimal volume of PMMA injection for vertebroplasty was predicted based on the image analysis of a given patient.

Recently with the wide spread smart devices and the flexible forms of work such as working from home due to changes in work practices, people are getting various information easily. Many women with a baby get to be interested in foods, health, and growth of their baby and the new task of raising a baby comes with a new burden added to taking care of their family and can develop into obsessive compulsive disorder to be a great mother. So many mothers suffer from child-rearing stress. Also, as the balance of work and life in mobile environment emerged as an important issue, the need for integrated information management applications that give infant care assistance to new mothers was increased. This study analyzed preferences on infant care information apps and developed prototype apps for infant care information management that can provide integrated customized infant care information that is actually needed.

The study aims to suggests mobile application service that helps to reduce physical and mental suffering after surgery for breast cancer patients constantly increasing. At first, I analyze literature research to understand the breast cancer and similar services for achieving study purposes. After I finally design a mobile application that offers to customed one-to-one specialist coaching service focused on post-treatment management by using a double diamond design process model. In detail, first, I analyze the current program and comprehend user needs through interviews with the person such as breast patient, protector, nurse, salesperson in cancer center. Second, I specify the entire scenario, concept and keyword based on the persona and the customer journey map representing user. Third, I propose the mobile application for the ultimate goal by producing prototype to effectively communicate with specific functional descriptions. I hope this service will improve the quality of their lives.
