The effect of $Ba^{+2}$ shortage on microwave dielectric characteristics of $Ba_{1-x}$ $(Z $n_{1/3}$T $a_{2/3}$ $O_3$ ceramics (B $a^{+2}$의 결핍에 따른 Ba(Z $n_{1/3}$T $a_{2/3}$ $O_3$ 세라믹스의 고주파 유전특성에 관한 연구)

  • Dielectric and structural properties of $Ba_{1-x}$(Z $n_{1}$3/T $a_{2}$3/) $O_{3}$+1 mol% Mn $O_{2}$ (x=0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04) ceramics was investigated at microwave frequencies. With $Ba_{+2}$ shortage, the sinterability and the unloaded Q( $Q_{u}$) were much improved, and the ordering in B site and the lattice distortion was greatly enhanced and the structure approached the completely ordered structure. $Q_{u}$ was strongly correlated with these factors such as ordering ratio, lattice distortion and sinterability, and had the maximum value of 7500 at x=0.01. The dielectric constant was near 30 and the temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency was 2 ppm/.deg. C at x=0.01.1.1.1.

  • As the electrodes are not needed, the electrodeless lamps using the induction discharge have a long lifetime and are robust against the variable output condition of a ballast. This paper proposed a dimmable resonant inverter for the electrodeless lamps. The proposed resonant inverter formed a half bridge inverter adopted FWM to control the average output power of the inverter and the illumination of a lamp. In this paper, the proposed dimming algorithm was described and the prototype experimental setup for 100W electrodeless lamps was carried out to verify the validity of the proposed dimming method.

  • 본 논문은 20kV 10kW급 고전압 캐패시터 충전용 전원장치의 동작특성과 제어방식에 대하여 기술하고 있다. 단상 고주파 공진형 인버터 방식을 채용한 전원장치는 영전압 스위칭 기술을 적용하여 장치의 효율을 개선하였고 2대의 단상 고전압 변압기를 사용하여 출력용량을 고르게 분담하면서 다양한 출력조건에 적용 가능하도록 설계하였다. 또한 다양한 조건에서의 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 개발된 전원장치의 동작특성을 확인하였다.

  • This paper has been studied the parallel resonant inverter which controlling the constant power and tracking the load resonant frequency with PLL is possible, in order to minimize switching losses. The current-fed full-bridge type parallel resonant inverter of an induction heating system was composed of IGBT in switching device. For regulating the output power of an induction heating system, the Fuzzy controller is used. The Fuzzy controller makes the control signal for a stable power regulating control and when reference is changed, it is superior to adaptability. It has been evaluated a stable behavior for a noise with switching and a load disturbance.

  • Swirl injector with adjustable backhole length was analyzed to suppress high-frequency combustion instability in Liquid Rocket Engines. In order to analyze the effect of variable backhole injector as an acoustic absorber, backhole injector was regarded as a quarter-wave resonator. As a result of theoretical approaches and acoustic tests, backhole injector with adjustable length could decrease the unstable modes of combustion chamber. And the damping efficiency was estimated by measuring damping rates experimentally.

  • 본 논문에서는 코로나 방전 처리를 위해서 PDM에 의한 전압원 직렬공진인버터의 제어와 동작을 위한 알고리듬을 제안한다. PDM 인버터는 동작주파수와 일정 DC 전압 상태에서 평균 출력 전력을 제어하기 위해서 AC 출력단자에 구형파 AC 전압과 영전압 상태를 생성한다. 또한 스위칭 손실의 최소화를 위해서 영전류 스위칭과 영전압 스위칭을 모든 동작 상태에서 이루어짐을 보인다. 또한 강한 비선형적인 특성을 가진 코로나 방전 부하에 대하여 $5%{\sim}100%$의 폭 넓은 방전 전력을 제어함을 보인다.

  • In this paper, We have researched about the Electronic Ballast for 250W HPS(High Pressure Sodium) lamp. This Electronic Ballast is capable to operate the Ignition and Steady State Using the Class D LCC resonant tank, and minimizing the full-bridge inverter's Switching Stress by implementation Quasi-square ZC-ZVS Soft Switching Method. And also, We have reduced the heat of MOS-FETs and high frequency switching surge noise using the RCD damp snubber. Therefore, We are sure that the developed ballast has the properties of the stable & reliable Control and the function of minimizing the total noise of the system.

  • In designing a resonant circuit of the inverter which puts induction heating with high frequency to the load, an inductance L of the circuit, the coupling coefficient of a transformer transfering the output power to load, and the coupling coefficient of load circuit heating with coil affect to the output power of a resonant circuit, the circuit Q and the frequency. Those characteristics of the circuit are analyzed through Thevenan's equivalent circuit of the coupling coefficient type which is derived from the T-type equivalent circuit of a transformer. On this equivalent circuit, the impedance of a transformer referred to its primary side is not only proportional the square of turn ratio, nZ, but also the square of coupling coefficient, K2 This paper proposed a more accurate fundamental method to design a resonant circuit of the inverter by using the Thevenan's equivalent circuit.

An Experimental Study on Combustion Instability Characteristics of Various Fuel-Air Mixing Section Geometry in a Model Dump Shape Combustor (모형 덤프 연소기에서 혼합기 유입구 길이 변화에 따른 연소불안정 특성에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • The main objective of this study was investigation of natural gas flames in a lean premixed swirl-stabilized dump combustor with an attention focused on the effect of the various fuel-air mixing section geometry on the combustion instability characteristics. The multi-channel dynamic pressure transducers were located on the combustor and inlet mixing section region to observe combustion pressure oscillation and difference phase at each dynamic pressure measurement results. Dynamic pressures were also measured to investigate characteristics of combustion at the same time. The combustor and mixing section length was varied in order to have different acoustic resonance characteristics from 800 to 1800 mm in combustor and 470, 550, 870 mm in mixing section. We observed two dominant instability frequencies in this study. Lower frequencies were obtained at lower equivalence ratio region and it was associated with a fundamental longitudinal mode of combustor length. Higher frequencies were observed in higher equivalence ratio conditions. It was related to secondary longitudinal mode of coupled with the combustor and mixing section. In this instability characteristics, pressure oscillation of mixing section part was larger than pressure oscillation of combustor. As a result, combustion instability was strongly affected by acoustic characteristics of combustor and mixing section geometry.
