Age-related Changes of the Finger Photoplethysmogram in Frequency Domain Analysis (연령증가에 따른 지첨용적맥파의 주파수 영역에서의 변화)

  • Objectives: It is well known that some parameters of the photoplethysmogram (PPG) acquired by time domain contour analysis can be used as markers of vascular aging. But the previous studies that have been performed for frequency domain analysis of the PPG to date have provided only restrictive and fragmentary information. The aim of the present investigation was to determine whether the harmonics extracted from the PPG using a fast Fourier transformation could be used as an index of vascular aging. Methods: The PPG was measured in 600 recruited subjects for 30 second durations, To grasp the gross age-related change of the PPG waveform, we grouped subjects according to gender and age and averaged the PPG signal of one pulse cycle. To calculate the conventional indices of vascular aging, we selected the 5-6 cycles of pulse that the baseline was relatively stable and then acquired the coordinates of the inflection points. For the frequency domain analysis we performed a power spectral analysis on the PPG signals for 30 seconds using a fast Fourier transformation and dissociated the harmonic components from the PPG signals. Results: A final number of 390 subjects (174 males and 216 females) were included in the statistical analysis. The normalized power of the harmonics decreased with age and on a logarithmic scale reduction of the normalized power in the third (r=-0.492, P<0.0001), fourth (r=-0.621, P<0.0001) and fifth harmonic (r=-0.487, P<0.0001) was prominent. From a multiple linear regression analysis, Stiffness index, reflection index and corrected up-stroke time influenced the normalized power of the harmonics on a logarithmic scale. Conclusions: The normalized harmonic power decreased with age in healthy subjects and may be less error prone due to the essential attributes of frequency domain analysis. Therefore, we expect that the normalized harmonic power density can be useful as a vascular aging marker.

  • 일산복합화력발전소 소내 중요설비에 전력을 공급하는 무정전 전원장치의 출력측 전압파형의 종합 왜율을 IEEE 출력기준인 5%로 억제하여 설비의 안정적 동작을 확보하기 위하여 고조파 분석을 행하였다. 일산복합의 무정전 전원장치는 제어전원공급용으로서 부하가 콘덴서 입력형 정류기의 특성을 갖고 있으므로 3, 5, 7차의 주요 고조파를 포함하고 있다. 따라서 이들 각각에 대하여 부하측에서 본 무정전 전원장치의 임피던스를 작게 하여 전압종합왜율을 5%이하로 낮추어야 한다. 무정전전원장치의 출력전압, 전류 취득 자료를 분석하여 해당 차수의 고조파 제거와 역류개선을 위한 동조필터의 커패시터와 리액터의 용량을 결정하는 방법을 정리하였다.

  • STC(Sinusoidal Transform Coding) 방식은 음성신호의 주파수 영역에서 스펙트럼 피크치들을 정현파로 모델링하여 합성하는 방식을 말한다. 저전송률 STC 방식에서는 전송되는 정보량을 줄이기 위해 스펙트럼 피크를 대신해 음성신호의 스펙트럼 포락선 정보와, 피치정보를 이용하여 얻어지는 고조파 성분들을 정현파로 모델링하여 음성을 합성한다. 본 논문에서는 음성신호의 정현파 모델에 기반하여 2.4kbps 전송속도를 갖는 음성부호화 알고리즘을 제안하였으며, 실험결과로 합성음의 파형과 스펙트럼 특성, 위상특성, 그리고 MOS(Mean Opinion Score) 테스트를 이용한 합성음의 음질을 비교/분석 하였다.

  • UPS용 5레벨 PWN인버어터의 디지틀 소프트웨어 제어기법을 개발하였다. 새로운 제어기법을 채용한 5레벨 PWN인버어터는 제어모드 선택에 따라 고조파성분을 쉽게 제거할 수 있었다. 주파수비가 6이고, 변조지수가 1.2∼2.0인 제어모드에서 대부분의 고조파성분이 제거되고 기본파성분이 최대가 되었다.

  • This paper deals with a millimeter wave source which is utilizing sub-harmonic injection-synchronization technique. A 8.7GHz oscillator with MES-FET is fabricated, and is driven as a harmonic output oscillator at 17.4GHz by means of sub-harmonic injection-synchronization. The oscillator operates as a multiplier as well as oscillator in this system. Adopting this technique, we can obtain a high stable, high frequency millimeter wave source even though self-oscillating frequency of an oscillator is relatively low. In the experiments, the range of injection-synchronization is about 26MHz and is proportional to the input sub-harmonic power. From the spectrum analysis of the 2nd harmonic output. we blow that the phase noise of the harmonic oscillator is remarkably decreased.

  • With the proliferation of nonlinear loads, high neutral harmonic currents in three-phase four-wire distribution system have been observed It has been also known that the ground impedance has an effect on the neutral currents of a system which operates with harmonics present. On-site measurements of harmonic currents and voltages, and the soil resistivity and ground resistance under case study system were made and the corresponding equivalent circuit for the harmonics analysis was developed This equivalent circuit model was simulated numerically and graphically through the use of MATLAB and CDEGS software packages, and adequate results were obtained.

  • Large steel industries have nonlinear loads including electric arc furnaces and harmonic field measurements have shown that harmonic content of a waveform varies with time. Since the large loads are supplied from the power system grid, it must be recognized that not only will the system of utility be impacted, but neighboring customer system could be impacted as well. In this paper time-varying harmonics are evaluated by international harmonic standards IEEE Std. 519 and IEC 61000-3-6 using a cumulative probablistic approach.

  • 본 연구에서는 LF2407 DSP제어기를 사용한 혼합형 랜덤 펄스폭 변조기법(HRPWM : Hybrid Random PWM)을 제안하였다. 제안된 HRPWM은 PRBS (Pseudo-Random Binary Sequence)로 동작하는 시프트 레지스터의 lead-lag 랜덤 비트를 사용한다는 점에서 종전의 방법과 동일하다. 그러나 Lead-Lag 랜덤 비트와 논리적인 비교를 하기 위해 고정 주파수의 캐리어를 사용 하지 않고 랜덤 주파수의 삼각파 캐리어를 이용한다는 점이 종전의 방법과 다르다. LF2407 DSP에 의하여 랜덤 수 및 PRBS 그리고 3상 기준 정현파를 실시간으로 발생하며, DSP외부의 주파수 변조기 MAX038에 의하여 랜덤 주파수의 캐리어를 발생한다. 제안된 기법을 LF2407기반의 3상 유도모터 구동장치에 적용한 결과, 모터 전류파형은 종전의 방법과 유사한 파형을 유지하면서도 모터 전압 및 전류의 고조파 스펙트럼은 광대역 주파수로 분포시킬 수 있었다.

  • In order to increase reliability and reduce system cost, this paper studies particularly applicable method for sensorless PM BLDCM drive system. The waveform of the motor internal voltages(or back emf) contains a fundamental and higher order frequency harmonics. Therefore the third harmonic component is extracted from the stator phase voltage. The resulting third harmonic signal keeps a constant phase relationship with the rotor flux for any motor speed and load condition, and is practically free of noise that can be introduced by the inverter switching, making this a robust sensing method. In addition, a simple starting method and a speed estimation approach are also proposed. Some experimental results are Provided to demonstrate the validity of the proposed control method.
