A study on Regional Economic Effects of the logistics complex in Incheon New Port (인천신항 배후물류단지의 지역경제 파급효과 연구)

  • This study estimated the regional economic effects by development of the logistics complex in Incheon New Port, applying the regional Input-Output tables in Incheon. And thereby, we tried to find some strategic implications on the priority to induce more effective industries for activated operation of the logistics complex in ports. According to the results, development of Incheon New Port will generate 2,579 billion KRWs(2.2 billion USDs) of production and 1,783 KRWs(1.5 billion USDs) of value-added annually. And we expect it to induce 38.8 thousand jobs, which is over the national average on the input-output table. By the business type, port logistics industry will contribute to develop regional economy more than any other ones in Incheon. We suggest business firms in port logistics industry to be induced to the logistics complex in Incheon New Port strategically. Until now, development of the logistics complex in Incheon New Port are planned to be postponed to 2015 when construction of the berth facilities, the access sea routes and the hinterland highways are completed. We suggest to invest more public fund, to induce the private capital, and then, to develop the logistics complex in Incheon New Port earlier in an appropriate scale.

Factors influencing Turnover Intention of Customized Home Health Care Nurse (보건소 방문간호사의 이직의도와 관련요인)

  • Objective: The purpose of this research was to define the factors influencing turnover intention of customized home health care nurses. Methods: Research participants were 237 nurses who worked in the customized home health care of 33 public health centers in Daegu city and Gyeong-Buk Province. The data were collected by self report questionnaires from July, 1 to August, 30, 2011. The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, correlation coefficient, multiple stepwise regression using the SPSS program. Results: The average score for turnover intention was 3.12 (5 score) and job satisfaction was 2.41 (4 score). The scores for sub-categories of job satisfaction were operational factors, 1.99, personnel factors, 2.03, work factors, 2.64 and relationship factors, 3.04. Marital status, religion, visiting nurses career, employment status, work area were the significant factors related to turnover intention in these subjects. There was a significant negative correlation between job satisfaction and turnover intention (r=-0.354, p<0.001). Significant factors were job satisfaction, marital status, employment status (Cum $R^2$=0.198, F=17.179, p<0.001) that explained 19.8% of turnover intention. Conclusions: Customized home health care nurses management policy which includes job satisfaction and general characteristics of visiting nurses should be established to enhance of quality of customized home health care service.

The Effects of Subjective Norms on the Start-Up Intention: The Mediation Effect of Self-Efficacy and the Moderate Effect of Security Competence (대학생들의 주관적 규범이 창업의도에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감의 매개효과와 안정지향성의 조절효과)

  • Many university students try to start up a lot because of career uncertainty, and this study reflected this environmental situation. The subject of the study is the degree to which subjective norms of university students affect the start-up intention. In addition, we looked at the mediated effects of self-efficiency and the moderated effects of security competence. To verify the hypothesis of the study, 201 university students in Seoul were asked about the relevant variables. And based on prior theory, hypotheses and questionnaires were made. In addition, the validity, reliability and correlation analysis of each variable were conducted. Multiple regression analysis was used for hypothesis analysis. As a result, subjective norms have a positive effect on the start-up intention. Next, self-efficiency was found to be mediating the relationship between subjective norms and start-up intentions. Finally, when subjective norms affect the start-up intention, security competence showed negative moderate effect. The implications of this study are as follows: First, a positive perception of start-up by those around them is needed when it comes to raising the intention of starting a business. This positive perception also affects the confidence and sense of challenge in start-up and affects their start-up intention. However, if career anchor prefer stable employment for the organization, it can be seen that they negatively affect the start-up intention.

An Analysis of the Managerial Level's Gender Gap and "Glass Ceiling" of the Corporation (기업 관리직의 젠더 격차와 "유리천장" 분석)

  • This study agrees with the idea that a situation centered perspective provides a useful contribution in understanding women's attitude on organizations. Women's occupational experiences are less related to their "femaleness" than to the structural constraints inherent in the occupational positions women fill. So characteristics of the organizational situation including gender composition and hierarchical status may "shape and define" women's experience on the job. The present study examined the managerial level's gender gap and "glass ceiling" of the corporation. According to Kanter, if the ratio of women to men in organizations begins to shift, as affirmative action and new hiring and promotion policies promised, forms of relationships and corporate culture should also change. However, the mere presence of women on workplace may not, in itself, result in women-friendly work condition. This study analyzes "Korean Women Manger Panel survey(2010 3rd. wave)" to examine how much gender gap of the managerial level persists and when the glass ceiling effect emerges. Using t-test and ANOVA, various aspects of the gender gap within managerial level were verified. The most significant finding is the glass ceiling effect starts from very low level of management. Policy implications from the statistical analysis of the Panel survey are: 1) We need to increase the absolute number of the women managers for securing middle level women leadership pipe line. 2) We need to confront the fact that the glass ceiling starts from the very low managerial level, and to explore more realistic way to break up the vicious circle for the tokenism. and 3) We need to looking beyond numbers in approaching women's matter at work. At the cultural and institutional level, work-family programs and policies, women's ratings of their competence, and family-friendly organization's climate should be considered.

Phase Equilibria of the System Pd-Sb-Te and Its Geological Implications (팔라듐-안티몬-테루르 계(系)의 상평형(相平衡)과 지질학적(地質學的) 의의(意義))

  • Phase relations in the system Pd-Sb-Te were investigated at $1000^{\circ}$, $800^{\circ}$, and $600^{\circ}C$, using the sealed-capsule technique; the quenched products were studied by reflected light microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and electron microprobe analysis. At $1000^{\circ}C$, the solid phases Pd, $Pd_{20}Sb_7$, $Pd_8Sb_3$, $Pd_{31}Sb_{12}$, and $Pd_5Sb_2$ are stable with a liquid phase that occupies most of the isothermal diagram. Additional solid phases at $800^{\circ}C$ are $Pd_5Sb_3$, PdSb, $Pd_8Te_3$, $Pd_7Te_3$, and a continuous $Pd_{20}Te_7-Pd_{20}Sb_7$ solid solution becomes stable. At $600^{\circ}$, $PdSb_2$, $Pd_{17}Te_4$, $Pd_9Te_4$, PdTe, $PdTe_2$, $Sb_2Te_3$, and Sb and continuous PdSb-PdTe and $PdTe-PdTe_2$ solid solutions are stable. All the solid phases exhibit solid solution, mainly by substitution between Sb and Te to an extent that varies with temperature of formation. The maximum substitution (at.%) of Te for Sb in the Pd-Sb phases is: 44.3 in $Pd_8Sb_3$, 52.0 in $Pd_{31}Sb_{12}$, 46.2 in $Pd_5Sb_2$ at $800^{\circ}C$; 15.3 in $Pd_5Sb_3$, 68.3 in $PdSb_2$ at $600^{\circ}C$. The maximum substitution (at.%) of Sb for Te in the Pd-Te phases is 34.5 in $Pd_5Sb_3$ at $800^{\circ}C$, and 41.6 in $Pd_7Te_3$, 5.2 in $Pd_{17}T_4$, 12.4 in $Pd_9Te_4$, and 19.1 in $PdTe_2$ at $600^{\circ}C$. Physical properties and X-ray data of the synthetic $Pd_9Te_4$, PdTe, $PdTe_2$, $Pd_8Sb_3$, PdSb, and $Sb_2Te_3$ correspond very well with those of telluropalladinite, kotulskite, merenskyite, mertieite II, sudburyite, and tellurantimony, respectively. Because X-ray powder diffraction data consistently reveal a 310 peak ($2.035{\AA}$), the $PdSb_2$ phase is most probably of cubic structure with space group $P2_13$. The X-ray powder pattern of a phase with PdSbTe composition, synthesized at $600^{\circ}C$, compares well with that of testibipalladite. Therefore, testibiopalladite may be a member of the $PdSb_2-Pd(Sb_{0.32}Te_{0.68})$ solid solution series which is cubic and $P2_13$ in symmetry. Thus the ideal fonnula for testibiopalladite, presently PdSbTe, must be revised to PdTe(Sb, Te). Borovskite($pd_3SbTe_4$) has not been found in the synthetic system in the temperature range $1000^{\circ}-600^{\circ}C$.

나노입자로 제조된 $BaTiO_3$ 유전체에서 첨가물질에 따른 전기적 특성 평가

  • $BaTiO_3$는 perovskite 구조를 가지는 대표적인 강유전체 재료로서 MLCC (Multi Layer Ceramic Capacitor), PTC thermistor등에 널리 사용되어지고 있다. 최근 고용량 MLCC의 상업화와 함께 나노크기를 갖는 tetragonal phase의 $BaTiO_3$ 입자를 합성하기 위한 다양한 제조방법이 제시되고 있다. 또한 유전특성과 온도특성 및 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위해 많은 첨가제들이 연구되어지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 희토류 원소인 $Y_2O_3$를 첨가하여 유전특성 및 온도특성을 향상시키고자 하였다. 본 실험에서는 150nm 크기를 갖는 pure $BaTiO_3$ 분말을 사용하고 $Y_2O_3$의 양은 0.02 ~ 0.1wt%로 변수를 주어 첨가하였으며, 최적의 소결 조건을 찾기 위하여 1200, 1230, $1250^{\circ}C$에서 소결을 진행하였다. 실험방법으로는 균일한 혼합을 위하여 Iso-alcohol을 이용하여 48시간 ball-mill 하였으며 오븐에서 건조 후 ${\Phi}15$로 성형하여 소결을 진행하였다. 실험결과로는 $Y_2O_3$ 첨가량이 0.02wt% 부터 상온부터 상전이 온도 부근의 유전율 기울기는 완만해 지는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 소결시편의 정방정비 (tetragonality)도 뚜렷하게 나타났다. $Y_2O_3$ 첨가랑이 0.1 wt% 일 때는 첨가량의 증가로 인해 강유전성이 상쇄됨을 나타냈다. 이는 $2450^{\circ}C$에 이르는 매우 높은 용융온도와 $2350^{\circ}C$까지 상전이가 는 $Y_2O_3$를 미량 첨가할 때, 고온에서 높은 화학적 안정성과 내열성을 가져 온도 안정성이 향상된 것으로 판단된다.

The National Pension and Restructuring of Intergenerational Contracts (국민연금과 세대간 계약의 재구성)

  • Generational contracts are specified into public pensions based on generational solidarity. The Korean National Pension has been reformed with a focus on generational equity with a narrow meaning related to contribution rate and benefit level. As a result, the Korean National Pension has only emphasized generational equity and not contributed to generational solidarity. We investigate changes in the content of the generational contract and propose to reconstruct generational contract to contribute to solidarity with a more comprehensive perspective. A new social contract by reformed pension system should not concentrate on narrowed generational equity. It should be reconstructed in the direction of enhancing efficacy and the stability of generational solidarity with an emphasis on social sustainability. Investment into the next generation would be one of many policy measures to decrease conflicts around intergenerational redistribution and improve the financial stability of the public pension by creating population structure and labor market changes.

플라즈마를 이용한 알루미늄 합금의 질화 공정

  • 알루미늄 자체에 대한 질화 기술의 어려움 때문에 현재까지는 AlN 분말을 이용한 소결 공정을 통하여 주요 부품의 제작이 되어 왔으며. Al 질화 기술보다는 아노다이징과 같은 표면 산화 공정 또는 도금과 같은 기술이 선호되어 왔다. 알루미늄 질화 기술이 잘 사용되지 않았던 이유는 알루미늄 표면에 2 5 nm 두께로 존재하는 치밀한 산화층의 높은 안정성 때문에 질화반응이 어렵기 때문이다. 이 알루미늄 산화물의 안정성은 질화물에 비교하여 5 배까지 높으며, 이런 경향은 온도가 높아짐에 따라 더욱 커지기 때문이다. 특히, 알루미늄의 낮은 기계적 물성을 향상시키기 위해서는 충분히 깊은 두께로 형성되어야 할 필요성이 높으나 알루미늄에 대한 질소의 고용도가 거의 없고 확산 계수가 매우 낮기 때문에 충분히 두꺼운 질화층의 형성이 어렵기 때문이다. 결국, 알루미늄 질화가 가능하기 위해서는 표면의 산화층을 없애야 하며, 알루미늄이 AlN이 되려는 속도는 $Al_2O_3$를 만드려는 속도보다 매우 느리므로, 잔존 산소량을 최소화 할 필요성이 있어서 고진공 분위기에서 처리되어야 한다. 일반적으로 알루미늄 질화를 위해서는 $10^{-6}\;torr$ 이하의 고진공도의 챔버가 필요하며 고순도의 반응 가스를 사용하여야 한다. 그러나 이러한 고진공하에서는 낮은 이온밀도 때문에 신속질화가 기존의 공정시간인 20시간동안, AlN층이 5um이하로 형성되었다. 본 연구에서, 알루미늄의 질화에 있어서, 표면층에 높은 전류를 걸어주어, 용융상태로 만들어주는 것이 좋다는 연구 결과를 얻었으며, 이를 토대로 신속질화를 위하여 전류밀도(전력량)에 따라 알루미늄 질화층의 형성 정도를 연구하였다. SEM, EDS, XRD등을 통해 Al의 표면에 플라즈마 질화를 통해 Al에 질소의 함유량이 증가하는 것을 확인하였으며 광학현미경을 통해 질화층의 두께와 표면조직을 확인하였다. Al 시편의 표면을 효과적으로 활성화할 수 있는 $400^{\circ}C$ 이상의 온도에서 전류밀도(전력량)와 시간의 변화에 따라 질화층이 효과적으로 형성되는 조건과 시간에 따라 두께가 증가하는 경향을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 신속 질화 공정을 통해 2시간 이내의 질화를 통해 40um이상의 AlN층을 형성할 수 있었다.

  • Human growth hormone is known as one of the peptide hormones which is consisted of 191 amino acids derived from the pituitary gland in humans. The objectives of this study were to supply inexpensive recombinant methionyl human growth hormones (rHGH) synthesized by the DNA technology in a yeast cell line and followed by the establishement of protein purification techniques. The next steps of the research were to study its physic-chemical properties and biological properties, and to evaluate various preclinical aspcts including pharmacokinetics sutdy, general pharmacology study, general toxicity test, and specific toxicity tests. Clinical phase I, II, III studies were also done against growth hormone dficient children to reveal that growth promoting effects were similar compared with the natural HGH extracted from pituitary glands and commercially available rHGHs. The results could be summarized that (I) this yeast dervied rHGH have had excellent physico-chemical and biological properties in comparison with a natural HGH and other synthesized rHGHs, (2) we could not see any toxic side effects when very high doses were administered to the experimental animals, and (3) this growth hormone showed effectiveness in the growth stimulating to growth hormone deficient patients.

The Pattern of Labor Migration in Ansan and Their Local-Social Relationship (안산지역 이주노동자의 노동이주 유형과 지역-사회관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to shed light on the characteristics of the social relations of migrant workers in the Ansan area and the factors for the construction of those characteristics. The social relations of migrant workers in the Ansan area are affected by the Korean government's policy of EPS, a short-term rotation policy and its ban on the settlement of migrant workers. These workers are likely to form a temporary and bounded social relationship. The bounded social relationship of migrant workers to society is one of the major factors that put them in social poverty. Ethnic communities, support organizations for migrant workers, and local government agencies have assumed the task of helping build the network among migrant workers of various ethnic backgrounds as well as aiding their participation in local social activities. The status of a temporary resident is the prime reason for spatial exclusion and social poverty among migrant workers. To prevent the exacerbation of these phenomena, this study suggests that the government reconsider its short-term work permit policy for less skilled workers.
