  • 현재의 통신망에서는 clock recovery, regeneration 등을 전기적으로 처리하고 있으나 처리속도의 한계가 있고, 미래의 초고속 네트웍은 이러한 전기적 신호처리의 속도한계를 극복하는 기술이 필요하다. 그러므로, 고속의 광교환과 광신호처리 등 광신호를 전기적으로 바꾸거나 제어하지 않고 전광으로 처리하는 기술에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있으며 이러한 전광신호 처리에 고속의 전광 논리소자가 요구된다. 초기의 전광 논리소자 연구에서는 AND, OR, NOR, XOR 등의 기본 논리 기능이 주로 구현되었으며 이를 활용하여 Shift Register, Binary counter, 전광 반가산기, 직/병렬 데이터 변환기와 같은 복합기능 논리소자의 구현 연구가 이루어지고 있다.   • Nowadays ARM7 core is used in many fields such as PDA systems because of the low power and low cost. It is a general-purpose processor, designed for both efficient digital signal processing and controller operations. But the advent of the wireless communication creates a need for high computational performance for signal processing. And then This paper has been designed a floating-point multiplier compatible to IEEE-754 single precision format for ARMTTDMI performance improvement.

  • 본 논문에서는 Grafcet을 이용하여 고속 철도의 외부 승강문 운영 데이터 처리 사양으로부터 승강문 운영 상세 사양을 구성하는데 목적을 둔다. 이에 따라 승강문 열림/닫힘, 승강문 열림 및 승강문 닫힘 관련 Grafcet을 구성한 후, 천이와 스텝의 관점에 따라 연관된 액션과 천이 조건 등을 분류하여 주어진 Grafcet의 특성 및 순차 제어 논리 분석을 실행한다.

  • Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is used in the railway field in terms of efficient management and maintenance. Sensor communication technology based on IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee is used in low speed train. However, it is difficult to apply in the high speed train that exposed to severe wireless channel environments. In this paper, we propose the sensor communication algorithm for high speed train environment. we improve error rate and throughput using Equalizer, Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), Flexible Spreading Factor (SF) and Modulation. Also, we have analyzed the performance of the IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee based on the standard of physical layer of 2.4GHz band in each algorithms. Simulation results show that proposed algorithms can improve error rate and throughput of conventional system.

  • The development of the traffic system has brought relative reduction in aspect of the cost and time distance on the geographical space. SOC(social overhead capital), an express highway and railroad, has a great and absolute effect on the prosperity of community, As Mokpo is one of the community under the influence q West costal highway express and KTX(Korea Train Express), the number of the tourists visiting city of port like Mokpo has increasing gradually, especially at the high-demand season(in Summer). But the coastal passenger boot can't be capable of customers arriving at the port. As a result of this situation, the 'balking' occurs. No 'balking', means the jam of road. In this thesis, by understanding the concept and property of ARENA and simulating operation of coastal passenger boot at Mokpo port, intends to analyze the truth of 'balking' and finds an effective operation method of coastal passenger boot for the solution to the traffic jam. The solution to the jam in the vicinity of port of Mokpo, which try to develop tourism package commodity now, will present the effect of qualitative analysis in giving an opportunity of economic growth of the community, Mokpo.

Comparison of Relative Weights of Cost for Road-bed Construction and Energy on Life Cycle Cost of Railroad -in Case of Seoul-pusan High Speed Rail (철도노선의 생애주기비용에서 노반건설비와 에너지비용의 상대적 비중 분석 - 경부고속철도 사례를 중심으로)

  • It is generally recognize that the weight of energy cost for railroad alignment in the life cycle cost is higher than that for roadway. This study analyzed the relative weights of railroad road-bed construction cost and energy cost in the case of Seoul-Pusan High Speed Rail. Recently, the optimization of railroad alignment with computerized methodology has been studies. The optimization is supposed to aim the minimization of life cycle cost including the energy cost as well as the minimization of the construction cost. The operation period of the Seoul-Pusan High Speed Rail is limited to ten years, then various future operation scenario were developed for the next 20 years. The weight of energy cost is estimated 10~30% of the construction cost by scenario, and it is lower than the figure generally expected. It may be meaningful to provide the method to include the energy cost in the railroad alignment optimization.

  • Recently, railway has been pointed to the efficiency of transportation, rapid transit, and comfortable train ride. the construction of railway near the downtown area and station building are increasing for maximization of utilization and convenience. but the heavy of transportation and rapid transit lead to increase noise and vibration. the noise and vibration of railway may cause the civil appeal, decline in the serviceability and insufficiency of environmental standard. Therefore, the solution to avoid environmental matters becomes one of the most important factor in constructing railway. In this study, floating slab system which is one of the solution to avoid noise and vibration in railway has been introduced, and the concept of preliminary design and vibration absorber of floating slab system according to the isolator has been introduced.

Noise Sources Localization on High-Speed Trains by using a Microphone Array (마이크로폰 어레이를 이용한 고속철도 차량의 소음원 도출 연구)

  • In this paper, noise of Korean high-speed trains (KTX) running at different speed from 150 to 300km/h was measured by a microphone array system. From the measurement, relation between maximum sound pressure levels and train moving speeds of KTX was drawn and a regression coefficient from the relation was also derived. Moreover, increases of SPL with speeds of KTX were analyzed in the frequency domain. From the analysis, sound characteristics of passing-by noise of KTX were provided. Then, dominant noise source areas were obtained from the measurements and propagation patterns of KTX in vertical direction were also investigated. Finally, noise sources of KTX were identified from inspection of noise maps.
