The purpose of this research is to 'know what causes the social isolation felt by marriage immigrant women'. Thus, a total of 253 cases of marriage immigrant women who use Multi-cultural Family Support Center in D city have been analyzed. The findings reveal that the factors influencing the sense of isolation in the social environment, experienced by immigrant women married to Koreans are: social support, family relationships, self-esteem, household income and economic activity. In other words, their strong sense of isolation from society will be lessened when they get more social support, are happy with their family relationships, have their improved self-esteem, earn higher household incomes and don't take part in undesirable economic activities. Based on the research results, this study makes suggestions, on both a political and practical level, to solve the above problem of social isolation faced by marriage immigrant women through their financial stability, desirable economic activities, healthy family relationships, the enhancement of self-esteem and the provision of generous social support for them.

Under this relationship, we investigated the double-mediation effects of self-regulation and social support. Research data were collected from 404 elderly in DaeJeon, South Korea. The final sample were 404 who fully responded. As a result of structural equation modeling, the social isolation of elderly significantly effected directly in smart phone addiction. Furthermore, self-regulation and social support effected the smart phone addiction indirectly through the double-mediation path. Based on the results of this study, the implications and future studies of the smart phone addiction of elderly are suggested.

For this study, 373 students of H cyber university were chosen to conduct a survey in the spring semester of 2011. The result of this study through structural equation modeling analysis was as follows: First, organizational support significantly affected perceived isolation. Second, organizational support and perceived isolation significantly affected satisfaction. Third, perceived isolation and satisfaction significantly affected learning persistence, while organizational support didn't. In addition, satisfaction was verified as a mediating variable between organizational support, satisfaction, and learning persistence, and satisfaction was verified as a mediating variable between perceived isolation, organizational support and learning persistence. These results imply that perceived isolation and organizational support should be considered for the design and development strategies of instructional courses in order to enhance satisfaction and learning persistence of students in cyber educational environment.
This study explored the potential associations among older adults' online community uses, socialization, and social isolation. Results from the hierarchical regression analysis indicated that the quality and size of personal networks composed of online community members positively influences older adults' socialization and reduces social isolation. However, the frequency of meeting with online community members in offline settings was not significantly associated with socialization. Moreover, the amount of time using online communities indirectly and significantly affected social isolation, mediated by socialization. Results from this study address the positive roles of online community uses in overcoming psychological difficulties among elderly people.

This study was conducted with 135 registered nurses in three COVID-19 specialized hospitals. Data were analyzed with IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 and using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and mediation analysis. The mediating effect was analyzed using PROCESS macro for SPSS 4.0 program with bootstrapping method. Social isolation directly influenced social support (𝛽=-.62, p<.001) and depression (𝛽=.49, p<.001). Social support directly influenced depression (𝛽=-.19, p=.028). Social support has a mediating effect between social isolation and depression (indirect effect=.12, 95% CI=0.02~0.29). To managed depression, intervention are needed to reduce social isolation. Data were collected on an online basis using a structured questionnaire from 136 nursing students at a university. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS Window 25.0 program. The influence factors on the career identity was confirmed by the resilience (β=0.32, p=.001) total explanatory power of the variables was found to be 20.5%. Therefore, based on the results of this study, it is necessary to strategy establish a positive career identity and develop an effective career identity promotion program by exerting individual resilience against to negative emotions such as isolation and depression.

For this study, 104 students at A cyber university in Korea completed surveys in the fall semester of 2011. The result of this study indicated that there was a meaningful effect of interaction on isolation. Secondly, there was a meaningful effect of interaction on content satisfaction. Thirdly there was a meaningful effect of interaction on achievement. Lastly there were meaningful effects of isolation and interaction on persistence. In addition, according to multi-group analysis, there were no significant differences of structural path coefficients between two groups. Based on these results, this study suggests instructional design methods and management strategies to improve the quality of learning in cyber universities.
In the rapidly expanding live-commerce market, one of the newer channels in e-commerce, consumer satisfaction appears to have plateaued. This study, therefore, aims to explore the impact of consumers' internal psychological states on the formation of service attitudes and offers practical solutions based on these findings. Whereas previous studies predominantly focused on external factors, this research examines the role of internal psychological states and perceived value in shaping consumer attitudes. Specifically, this study distinguishes between personal loneliness and social isolation, adding an altruistic dimension by incorporating interpersonal orientation, thereby setting it apart from earlier research. The focus of this study is on the psychological conditions of live-commerce consumers, investigating how factors such as loneliness, social isolation, and interpersonal orientation influence service attitudes, moderated by perceived economic value. The analysis reveals that both social isolation and interpersonal orientation significantly affect service attitudes, with social isolation exerting a stronger influence. However, no statistically significant relationship was found between loneliness and service attitude. Additionally, the effects of social isolation and interpersonal orientation on service attitudes were moderated by perceived economic value, which amplified their influence. These findings underscore the importance of incorporating consumer-centric psychological factors when developing strategies. A tailored approach that aligns with the unique characteristics of the live-commerce channel can help businesses provide customized services. This strategic approach is expected to support the development of effective operational strategies and practical solutions not only for live-commerce but also for future two-way communication channels that businesses and small enterprises may leverage.
