한국은 급격한 고령화가 진행 중에 있다. 세계적으로도 유례가 없는 급격한 고령화에 노인시설 및 병원에서 생활하는 고령자의 수 역시 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 시설이나 병원에서 고령자의 샤워수발은 수발자에게는 매우 힘든 노동이 되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 샤워 수발자의 불편함을 해소할 수 있는 와상형 자동 샤워링 시스템을 개발하는 것을 연구목적으로 한다. 와상형 자동 샤워링 시스템을 개발하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 기존 국외제품의 노즐위치 문제점을 분석하고, 수발자의 수발행위가 최적화될 수 있는 최적노즐위치 구현을 위한 샤워링 테스트, 샤워링시뮬레이션 등을 사용하여 최적노즐위치를 구현하였다. 또한 적은 노즐 수로 넓은 범위를 효과적으로 세정할 수 있는 스윙노즐을 개발하여 시제품에 적용하였다. 샤워링 테스트의 노즐위치 최적화결과를 샤워링 시뮬레이션에 적용하여 노즐위치 및 분사각의 최적화를 수행하였고, 이를 실제 시제품 설계에 적용하였다. 본 연구에서는 와상형 샤워링 시스템의 개발에 있어 사용자의 수발부담을 경감할 수 있는 가장 중요한 설계요소를 노즐위치 및 분사각으로 정의하고, 노즐위치 및 분사각도의 최적화를 중심으로 와상형 자동샤워링 시스템 개발 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구의 사용자 중심 제품개발과정은 앞으로 다양한 고령친화제품을 개발하는데 있어 수발자의 부담을 감소시키고, 고령사용자의 자립생활을 지원하는데 있어 적용 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

Compared to other manufacturing industries, the food manufacturing industry has a relatively large number of women casualties compared to men, and the number is steadily increasing. The age of casualties is also increasing as the society enters into an aging society. This is also evident in the food manufacturing sector. Therefore, this study conducted a survey on the safety and health awareness of workers by age and gender at small workplaces in the food manufacturing industry. Among them, we would like to focus on elderly women workers and analyze their accident characteristics to suggest ways to reduce the accident rate.

This study suggests an alternative for solving quality-of-life problems of an aging workforce by seeking ways to utilize an aging workforce in corporations and society. This research empirically analyzed data from the 6th panel data of aging. Study results are as follows. First, it was confirmed that job satisfaction of aging manpower plays a mediating role in the relationship between quality of life and the job characteristics of an aging workforce. Second, it was found that the wage level of regular workers had a significant effect on job satisfaction and quality of life, and the job satisfaction of regular workers was mediated between wage level and quality of life. On the other hand, the wage level of non-regular workers did not have any effect on job satisfaction and quality of life. The results of this study suggest the necessity for companies to recognize the use of an aging workforce to improve social value. Furthermore, our results provide implications for domestic firms and government policymakers on how to use a domestic aging workforce and how to utilize regular and non-regular workers.

In this paper, to invigorate elderly-friendly industry, a case study on curriculum for re-educational work of the field engineers is introduced. The curriculum has been developed to retrain technicians and engineers in IT-based elderly-friendly business industry, to help them develop elderly-friendly products, and it have been evolved by operating it and analyzing outcome and satisfaction levels since August in 2009. The re-education work of the field engineers are designed for invigorating the IT-based elderly-friendly business industry, based on the instruction system design(ISD) model. To develop IT-based elderly-friendly products, the elderly-friendly accessible design and the elderly-friendly living and health care equipment design are required. For the elderly-friendly accessible design, it consists of "Elderly-Friendly Engineering Based on Human Characteristics", "Color Sensibility and Universal Design for The Elderly", and "Design Understanding and Process". For the elderly-friendly living and health care equipment design, it consists of "Embedded System Design and Debugging Experiments for Elderly-Friendly IT Equipment", "Elderly-Friendly Android Implementation Design", and "Design and Experiments of Silver-care Android-based Smart Equipment".

According to the Ministry of Employment and Labor's industrial accident death statistics, the number of accident deaths in the construction industry increased by 30 people year-on-year to 458, with 77.3% of the accident deaths aged 50 or older and 41.9% aged 60 or older. This study conducted and analyzed a survey to identify safety education, protective equipment, and safety consciousness for 68 elderly workers working at construction sites. As a result, the necessity of diversifying safety education using visual data was confirmed to reconsider the contradictory safety consciousness of elderly workers. It also confirmed the need to improve protective equipment, such as providing protective equipment suitable for individual bodies and periodic replacement, for workers who are passive in wearing protective equipment despite the high need for protective equipment.

Most accidents at construction sites are occurring in vulnerable groups such as new workers, foreign workers, and elderly workers. These vulnerable workers often lead to accidents due to the lack of awareness of risks. Therefore, in order to reduce accidents, it is necessary to pay attention to and manage vulnerable workers. This study attempted to identify the level of safety awareness and safety management priorities for vulnerable workers through IPA analysis. New workers should be able to adapt to the field as soon as possible, and foreign workers were found to need frequent check-ups due to language communication problems. In the case of older workers, it was analyzed that it was necessary to check their health and to check whether they were performing other tasks than the prescribed ones.

젖소로부터 우유를 생산하기 위해서는 매일 2~3회의 착유가 이루어야 한다. 그러나 국내 낙농가는 고령화되고 노동력이 부족해 하루 2회 이상 착유가 이루어지지 않는다. 또한 착유 시 중요한 작업인 유두를 세척하는 작업의 경우 세척자의 숙련도에 따라 차이가 크고 손에 의한 유방염 원인균의 전파 가능성이 높은 상황이다. 이에 농촌진흥청에서는 젖소 유두 세척 장치를 개발했다.
