한국과 일본은 사회문화적 환경이 지구상에서 가장 유사하며, 근접한 국가이다. 특히, 두나라는 공통적으로 고령화의 진전속도가 매우 급속히 이루어졌으며, 국가적으로도 유사한 형태로 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구는 시대적 요청에 의해 인접한 두 국가의 다양한 고령기 대책을 마련하기 위한 전략모색과 초고령 한국사회에 대비하여 노인문제를 앞서 경험한 일본의 시사점을 통하여 대응방안의 기초를 마련하고자 한다. 본 연구는 한국과 일본 두 국가에서 각각 노인복지관, 시니어클럽, 고령자봉사센터 등을 통하여 양국가의 언어로 번역된 설문지조사로 실시되었다. 본 연구를 토대로 고령사회는<얼마나 오래사느냐>가 아니라, <어떻게 잘 사느냐>에 초점을 두고, 인간의 행복과 존엄의 가치에 입각하여 미래사회의 성장잠재력, 세대간의 조화, 성공적 노화적응에 준비하고자 한다.

고령화 사회에 대한 준비가 여러 다양한 분야에서 진행되고 있으며 사회 각 부분에서도 이에 관련된 사업들이 활발히 진행 중에 있다. 또한 일찍 고령화 사회에 진입한 여러 국가들도 실버산업에 관한 계속적인 연구를 통해 고령화 사회의 여러 문제점들을 해결해 나가고 있다. 반면 디자인 분야에서 실버산업에 대한 연구는 아직은 다각적으로 이루어지거나 체계적으로 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 이유로 본 연구의 목적은 실버산업을 위해 디자이너가 먼저 호려해야 할 대상이 무엇인지를 찾아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구 목적을 위해 실버 계층이 일상생활에서의 불편함을 리스트 화하여 그룹핑하고 이를 가지고 평가 항목을 만든다. 이후, 시중에 판매되고 있는 실버 제품들의 군집별로 수집하고 이 제품을 군집별로 일반인(20세-35세) 50명과 65세 이상 50명에게 각각 100 명에게 설문을 실시한다. 설문은 7점 척도로 측정하고 일반 집단과 실버 집단을 비교 하도록 한다. 이로써, 두 집단 간의 설문 항목에 따른 차이점과 중요 디자인 요소에 대한 방향을 모색하고자 한다.

본 학술지에서는 고령사회가 진행되는 대한민국 내의 건설현장에서 겪고 있는 청년근로자의 건설현장 기피현상으로 인한 유입 감소와 건설현장 진입장벽의 낮음, 일용직 근로자의 비율 상승에 따라 건설현장 내 고령근로자의 증가 추세와 이와 같은 현상에서 나타나는 건설현장에서의 고령근로자 역할과 고령근로자 취업제한 및 금지 불가, 그에 따른 고령근로자의 취업에 관한 고용관리방안을 발표하고자 한다.

The Republic of Korea has a more rapidly aging society than any other country in the world. In order to prepare for the attendant challenges, this research provides basic data for policies related to aging ship officers, analyzing the relationship between elderly ship officers and marine accidents. The data used here spans 11 years, from 2006 to 2016, and the survey and regression analysis were conducted only on ship officers, excluding crew. As a result of this research, first, it was found that the number of employed ship officers older than 60 has increased 2.7 times over the past 11 years and the range of this increase was larger than for other age categories. Second, the number of elderly ship officers disciplined for marine accidents increased by around 2.6 times. Third, elderly ship officers had around 1.5 times the rate of marine accidents compared to non-elderly ship officers. Fourth, as a result of conducting regression analysis between the number of employed elderly ship officers and the number of officers disciplined, the degree of explanatory power of elderly ship officers for disciplined officials was 75.1%. Since our society will age quickly, policies such as license renewal education for elderly ship officers and regulation enforcing the quality of renewal will be needed.

This study considers the problems and social changes caused by the increase of single-person households in the elderly, and examines SmartHome services for them. We chose trust, security risk, self efficacy, social influence, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness as factors that affect attitude. The cognitive level of these factors and the difference betweene gender and education level of these factors were analyzed. The analysis showed that the elderly were fully aware of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. In addition, the elderly women are more socially influenced than the elderly men in the use of SmartHome services, and there was a significant difference in self efficacy and social influence by education level. This study will provide a new research perspective for subsequent studies and can be utilized as an important underlying study.

This study examined the effect of family cohesion and perception of age-friendly environment on sense of community and the mediating role of perception of age-integration in those relationships by regions. To that end, we used survey data collected from a nation-wide survey from adults who are aged 20 to 85 (N=1,200). ANOVA, structural equation models and bootstrapping mediation tests were conducted. The results showed that family cohesion and one sub-dimension of the age-friendly environment- social participation- increased sense of community in all three regions. Also, perception of age-integration partially mediated the relationship between family cohesion and sense of community in the Metropolitan areas and small cities as well as the relationship between social participation and sense of community in all three regions. Based on the results, authors discussed ways to increase family cohesion and social participation to enhance sense of community.

Enhancing Information Utilization Capability of the elderly is discussed in the level of nation due to the advent of information society and aging. Information divide of the elderly is wider compared with other age groups. It is necessary for the elderly to enhance information ability. Government was implementing the policy for narrowing information divide continually. Dual information divide is brought about by the character of the elderly such as status, economic factor, the level of education. Therefore not only continuous nation's policy but road map is needed for enhancing information utilization capability to computer and internet. Information divide of the elderly would be narrowed out of education, economy, earning, age through those ways.

This study is to explore the advance plan of senior products industrial into China. For this purpose, we examine the current status of the senior products industrial in Korea and investigate the demand of senior products industrial in China. Based on the results of these analyses, we discussed the concrete plans to advance into China. At result, the senior products industrial markets needed to develop in China are the elderly tourism industry, the elderly medical equipment and pension. And Korean companies intending to advance into China market might should capture the change of social security system, the trait of senior products industrial, and the regional characteristics in China.
